I detta arbete har jag undersökt hur man kan tillämpa teorier inom informationsdesign för att gestalta en designlösning som hjälper klättrare att minnas moment från topprepskursen.Svenska klätterförbundet vill utforma ett material med information om klättringsmoment som genomförts under topprepskursen. Materialet ska ges ut till examinerad klättrare i samband med att topprepskursen inomhus avklarats, för att påminna om vad för moment som genomförts under kursen. Tidigare material som ska fylla samma syfte finns tillgängligt men är inte utvecklat för att ges ut i samband med avklarad kurs. En designlösning som utifrån teorier inom informativ bild och kognition har producerats och testats genom öppna observationer. Resultatet i arbetet var att sju av åtta testpersoner i en observation kunde minnas hur ett praktiskt moment skulle utföras utifrån designförslaget..

The aim of this study was to investigate and compare the availability of construction materials affect children's constructions and play. Observations were made when the children were allowed to play and build with very little and much of the material play-doh dough in preschool. The study is aimed at children aged 3 ? 5 years. Interviews were also conducted with educators in departments where the children spent time to give support to this study.The result shows that the children create as many designs of any material amount.

AbstractAim: The aim of this study was to investigate if treatment with ?dry needling? in myofascial triggerpoints (MTrPs) in the rotatorcuff muscles may affect impingement symptoms such as pain during provocative tests, shoulder mobility, and function. The research questions were: Does the value of pain change on the Visual Analog Pain Scale (VAS) between before and after treatment? Do the positive provocative tests for impingement change between before and after treatment? Does the active shoulder mobility change between before and after treatment? Does the self-rated function change between before and after treatment?Method: The study was a prospective randomized intervention study and 19 persons with impingement symptoms (mean ± standard deviation; 58 ± 18 years, and shoulder pain duration 3.9 ± 1.6 months) were randomized into two groups. The groups were tested before, directly after and 3 weeks after treatment.

Aim and research questionsThe over-all aim of this study was to gain insight info how two male coaches of a specific soccer team behave in a practice environment with regards to educating the players.More specifically, the study sought to map the extent to which said behaviour matched two specific methods of learning; these being Teaching Games for Understanding (TgfU) and Enhanced Guided Discovery (EGD). Research questions: (1) Do the coaches employ the methods and guidelines, which are outlined in the educational plan provided by the soccer association? If so, what form does this application take in practice? (2) To what extent and in what ways do the coaches utilize feedback and questioning techniques in the education of players? (3) What similarities and differences in behaviour can be identified between the chosen soccer team?s two coaches?Method: The data for the study was collected through field observation. The subjects were two youth elite soccer coaches and observation of these coaches took place during five regular practice sessions on the soccer field. All data gathering and analysis were carried out using a modified version of the Coach Analysis and Intervention System (CAIS).

The ambition of this essay is to examine if groups on Facebook are examples of ?slacktivism? and discuss which qualifications these groups have in order to provide a democratic conversation. The results will be discussed relative to democratic participant, information overload, interactivity and previous research. By nethnographically observing three groups and analyzing selected posts and comments with the critical discourse analysis one can see that slacktivism spreads easily by people liking and sharing posts from the groups to their friends. The particular groups that has been analyzed in this essay are committed to save Swedish traditions that they believe is threatened.

Abstract The purpose with this essay is to get an understanding of how the christmascalender hasevolved throughout the history, and why its shape looks like it does. We have made ananalysis of the 21-centurys calendars to get a look on the content and tried to track a targetgroup. Which themes have characterized the 21-century and how can you put these in relationto earlier calendars? To get a greater insight in the design of the christmascalendar, we madean interview with SVT's Susanne Kvarforth. After this it came to our knowledge that they arelacking guidelines besides that their target group is 6-12 year olds.

The aim of this essay was to describe and analyse the use of snuff as a social activity. By accomplishing eight qualitative interviews with snuff-users I wanted to get a glimpse into their relationship to the snuff and find out in which situations and frames of mind the snuff-use alter. I also wanted to find out if age, class or gender has any affect in snuff-using. The interviews were analysed in a sociological perspective with help from Erving Goffmans and Joseph Gusfields ideas, among others. I found out that each snuff-user creates his own rituals and routines, but there are factors in daily life, which can change the use of snuff.

BAKGRUND: Miljön på förskolan ska vara trygg för barnen samtidigt som den ska ge utrymme för utmaningar och locka till lärande. Barns lärande påverkas av den miljö de befinner sig i eftersom rummet utger signaler om vad som förväntas av barnen och vad som förväntas ske i rummet. SYFTE: Syftet är att undersöka exempel på hur förskolor med olika pedagogiska inriktningar utformar den fysiska miljön och vilken betydelse lärare berättar att miljön har för barns lärande. METOD: Studien baseras på fem kvalitativa intervjuer samt observation genom fotografi. RESULTAT: Miljöns utformning kan skilja sig åt beroende på vilken pedagogisk inriktning man arbetar utifrån.

This study aims to find out what happens with the roles that are seemingly left behind. Are there roles that are harder or easier to exercise? Available roles with us through life and affect our future decisions or we switched completely away from them and create new roles based on the situations we find ourselves in at the moment? The aim is also to see how the relationship looks like between closed roles and new roles in life. To try to find this out, I have used the narrative method. The study is based largely on Goffman's theories of roles, behind and above the front- and back stage.

Trycksår är ett vanligt förekommande problem som medför stort lidande för den som drabbas och bidrar till extra kostnader för samhället. Syftet med studien var att sammanställa vilka förebyggande omvårdnadsåtgärder sjuksköterskor använder sig av och om de är tillräckliga för att motverka trycksår hos sängliggande patienter på sjukhus. Metoden som användes var en litteraturgranskning där artiklar samlats inom ämnet och där fokus lagts på trycksår, omvårdnadsåtgärder och riskfaktorer. Resultatet visade att det är viktigt att sätta in preventiva åtgärder i god tid för att förhindra uppkomsten av trycksår. De omvårdnadsåtgärder som sjuksköterskan använder sig av idag är riskbedömning, tryckavlastning, observation och vård av huden, nutritionsstatus och dokumentation.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate the virtual world that people are part of on online dating sites. To do this we have investigated two different research questions, which are the following: What functions do the online dating sites provide? Why and how are the online dating sites being used by their members? In order to gather information about these matters, we have used a qualitative method consisting of participating observation, scrutinizing and single person interviews. Our results indicate that people have different goals with their usage of online dating sites; some are looking for love, a long-term relationship while others are looking for sexual contact. There are many different online dating sites to choose from depending on the users? objective.

Purpose: The aim of this paper is to investigate whether there are differences between big cities and small cities in adventure tourism. The cities that are studied are Stockholm and Visby.Methodology: The study is based on a qualitative method. We have done interviews and observation. We also used books and internet when collecting information.        Conclusions: The study has shown that differences exist between large and small cities. People seek out the opposite, whether you're from a big city or small town.

This paper deals with the question of why companies choose to go on trade fairs and exhibition examines how the media works. The essay's main focus is on stand contractors and why those hired to produce other company stands. The study is based on three interviews, a visit to a trade fair and a questionnaire survey. Together with the relevant literature is given a clear picture of how companies are thinking in their choice of attending the fairs, but also why stand contractors are involved in the process. We concluded that some companies do not know why they participate in fairs and many feel compelled to contribute to not be forgotten in the market.

Studien vill belysa hur begreppet reflektion kan fo?rsta?s i en dramapedagogisk kontext och sta?ller sig fra?gan om reflektion kan fo?rsta?s som na?got annat a?n en verbal kognitiv process. Uppsatsen behandlar teoretiska perspektiv pa? reflektionsbegreppet och relaterar genom abduktion dessa till ett empiriskt material i fo?rsta hand besta?ende av tva? deltagande observationer.

Datorstöd i matematikundervisning och matematiklärande ? att simulera och modellera i problemlösning, handlar om vilka förmågor som kan utvecklas och vilka kursmål i matematik som kan realiseras i elevernas interaktivitet med programvara för dynamisk geometri. Studien baseras på en lektionsserie som bygger på en problemlösningssituation med GeoGebra som verktyg. Arbetet har en del beröringspunkter med aktionsforskning, men kan närmast definieras som undervisningsförsök. I studien görs ett försök att följa undervisnings- och inlärningsprocessen och reflektera över vad som sker.
