Producing a building is a long and complex process. It consists of several parts, from the feasibility study and design stage onto the construction and finally the management of the building. The design process is a critical part of the process where construction plans are made. The quality of the plans affect the production phase in great extent and faulty plans can pose a risk for extra costs for all parts in the process. The cost of producing dwellings has increased the last years and the detail design process is one of many phases where improvements can mean cost savings within the whole building process.This report aims to point at parts within the detail design process which could be more efficient, regarding communication, follow-up and time planning, and to give suggestions for improvements.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur fyra gymnasielärare kan förhålla sig till undervisning i svensk grammatik. Den empiriska undersökningen genomfördes på två gymnasieskolor i södra Sverige och bestod av observation vid fyra tillfällen av de intervjuades lektioner och fyra intervjuer med lika många gymnasielärare. Resultatet för denna studie visar att grammatik integreras i ordinarie svenskundervisning i varierande utsträckning och att pedagogerna väljer att ibland synliggöra grammatiken för eleverna och ibland inte. Lärarna motiverade grammatikundervisningen utifrån lydelsen ?språkets bruk och byggnad? i Kursplanen för Svenska A, och de menade att grammatikundervisning kan vara språkutvecklande.

Denna studies syfte var att undersöka vilken roll tekniska verktyg har i matematikundervisningen på en gymnasieskola. Möjlighetshorisonten för en individ är vad som är möjligt för en person i en specifik situation. När sedan möjlighetshorisonten identifierats går man vidare i handling och på så sätt utvidgas individens handlingshorisont. Metod: Fenomenologin som metod försöker både utgå från och göra rättvisa åt människors konkreta erfarenheter, medan hermeneutiken tolkar och skapar förståelse mellan det subjektiva och objektiva i studien.

The purpose of this study was to examine how modern information and communication technology influence collective action within the framework of social movements. By studying the protests in the Arab World 2011, and focusing on the social movements in Suleimanya in northern Iraq, by observation taken on place, the essay discusses that collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet.Result shows that modern communication technology has enabled immeasurable access andconnection between individuals throughout the world, which seems to be different from previouscollective action. The new communication channels in the form of social media, has been used for the dissemination of information and news, documentation, organization and membership recruitment in the social movements in the Arab World and Suleimanya. The purpose of this study is to investigate how social media can affect and influence the B2B-relationship. Social media is now a widespread and accepted tool for communication in many B2C-companies; therefore we find it interesting to examine how social media can find its place in the communication mix of B2B-companies. We are also aiming to distinguish standards in how social media is practiced and discussed in the context of the B2B-market. We have applied a qualitative method for this study and we have interviewed seven respondents, which are experts in social media or working with market communication at B2B-companies in Sweden. During our study we have identified several comparable attributes within the B2B market and their opinions about how social media should be approach and adopt in the communication mix of the company..

The art of riding is a fugitive art, which signifies that the means available for documentation of performances are insufficient, and that the equipment used by the old masters are important clues for the understanding of their art. The most specialized tool used for riding is the bit, in particular the curb. As museum catalogues become accessible to the public through the internet, riders will look for information about bits. It is then important that the information provided in the catalogues is valid not just for the curator, archaeologist or art historian, but also for the rider.In this paper, I add context to the bits by explaining two opposing philosophies of bitting, and how they affect the design of the bits. This is followed by a brief history of the art of riding and how the bits have evolved since the 16?th century.

Syftet med mitt arbete har varit att undersöka det fula språket och vilken funktion det fyller hos barn och ungdomar. Jag har även intresserat mig för barn och ungdomars attityder till det fula språket, samt huruvida det är nödvändigt att göra en ny definition av begreppet ?fult?. Empirin är insamlad genom observation i en sjätteklass, samt kvalitativ intervju med sex av pojkarna i klassen. Slutsatsen blir att det vuxenvärlden definierar som ?fult? inte nödvändigtvis är fult för informanterna.

Since a few years back television has been on a verge of an enormous digital change. Web-TV is now growing at an incredible rate and is said to completely change the way we consume TV. The purpose of this essay is to determine and gain an understanding of how representatives of the broadcast industry looks at the phenomenon of web-TV and especially the different kinds of online video services and how they believe this will affect the television. Methods used are qualitative interviews which we compared with previous studies on the subject and acknowledged communication theories. The respondents were people with good insight and understanding of the media and TV industry.

The purpose of this study was to identify the positive and negative aspects of the work and dynamics of a management team and from that recommend how the team can improve. The aim was also to investigate whether there was a gap between how the members of the management team comprehend themselves and how the project, section and team managers comprehend the management team. The management team contains of seven core team members and is the head function of a research and development site in central Sweden. The results are based on interviews with the present members of the management team and three former members, a survey among the project, section and team managers and by participating observation on meetings with the team. The results show that the management team is an overall well-functioning team that with some changes and improvements, especially concerning communication and information, can reach even further.

ABSTRAKTUnder de senaste åren har det släppts flera onlinespel inom genren MMORPG och deras popularitet har ökat. Vid vår litteraturstudie framgick det att tidigare forskning visar på att spelare av MMORPG spel utvecklar olika kompetenselement genom sitt spelande men tar inte upp spelares uppfattning kring detta. Därför har vi undersökt spelares uppfattning kring sin egen kompetensutveckling i ett MMORPG spel samt vilka spelmoment som kan bidra till detta. Vi utförde en netnografisk studie med enkät, intervjuer och deltagande observation i World of Warcraft. Forskningen gällande pedagogens roll och lektionsinnehållets betydelse med utomhusmatematiken som grund bygger på en observationsstudie. Litteraturen i fråga berör utomhuspedagogiken, pedagogens roll och elevernas roll i och för utomhusundervisningen. Den valda forskningsmetoden är deltagande observation.Observationen visar på ett resultat där pedagogens roll är mycket viktigt. Ett intresse för utomhusmatematiken är grunden för en lyckad utomhusundervisning. Utöver intresset så måste pedagogen planera sin utomhusmatematiska undervisning och ha långsiktiga mål med vad som ska uppnås.

Dancewalks är ett platsspecifikt danskonstverk skapat och uppfört i olika semioffentliga rum. Den här kvalitativa studien undersöker resultatet och effekterna av en Dancewalks i Malmö där 30 arkitekter och stadsplanerare deltog. Dancewalks är i sig själv ett performance vilket påverkar studien och därför också undersökningsprocessen. Det teoretiska ramverket utgår från Non representative theory och teorier om hur människor interagerar i rum. Tillvägagångssättet för studien är en triangulering av observation, fokusgrupp och semistrukturerade intervjuer.
