Informell motivation och dess betydelse : En studie inom tillverkningsindustrin

Many times it can be the simple things that affect the attitude of work and which have an importance on the organization's effectiveness. These are not always apparent but can have a large importance for the motivation and the attitude of work. Large number of companies uses wage and other financial rewards system but is there any form of informal factors that have an importance for the coworkers and that affects motivation. What factors that affect the motivation within the industry are interesting to examine and specifically the factors that are not apparent, in other words informal factors that increases the motivation. The purpose of this thesis is to examine and describe which informal Motivator factors co-workers/employees in a production department think are meaningful.

Unga män berättar om våld

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka och belysa vad som motiverar vissa killar till att tillämpa våld som problemlösning i deras vardag utifrån dessa killars egna förståelse för sina våldshandlingar. För att ge en ökad förståelse för detta har en narrativ intervjumetod använts med livsberättelser som utgångspunkt. För att belysa detta ämne har vi använt oss av maktlöshetsteorin där bemästring av vanmakt ingår. Våra resultat visar på att dessa unga män sökte att genom våldshandlingar bemästra sin vardag genom att skaffa sig position inom gänget och ett rykte om att vara farlig. Att föreställningen om ?respekt? handlade om att ingjuta rädsla hos andra och hur detta tillsammans med bemästring blev en Motivator för våldet.

Lärcentrum i biblioteket, möjligheter och utmaningar. Tre aktörsgruppers syn på lärcentrum och dess samverkan med biblioteket

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the points of view of three groups of actors about their local learning center and its collaboration with the library. By interviewing groups of actors from the municipal sector, the library staff and students, I aim to investigate their associations of the learning centre, what kind of services it should offer, and how they understand the role of the library staff in specific collaboration between the public library and the adult education administration. The study design is based on Gunnar Grepperud?s and Terje Thomsen?s three missions for a local learning centre; the mission of a broker, a meeting place and a Motivator. I also use Carol Kuhlthau?s levels of mediation as an approach to investigate how the actors want the library staff to work in relation to the centre.

 ABSTRACTThis study focuses on immigrant women in Sweden and how their perceptions of resource loss may affect their motivation to learn Swedish. Focus group discussions were conducted with immigrant women who partake in a Swedish language learning project. Their Swedish language skills were very limited, and all of them had no or very few years of elementary level education. Results of the study suggest that the strongest Motivator to learn Swedish is its potential role in facilitating everyday activities.    .

Arbetsmotivation i äldreomsorgen: en explorativ studie av uppfattningar hos medarbetare och chef vid ett äldreboende

An explorative study on the work motivation of employees at a retirement home. The three main factors are internal motivation, external motivation and control. A comparison between how important they estimate the different factors to be and how they experience them today reveals which factor is their key Motivator and which areas that need improvement. Results indicat that internal and external motivation are slightly more important than control. And the amount of perceived control reflects the amount of creative and initiative behaviour of the individual.

VAD ÄR DET SOM GER 80-TALISTER ARBETSMOTIVATION? : ? Med fokus på inre och yttre motivationsfaktorer

Det skrivs mycket i media om den nya generationen 80-talisterna som är på väg in på arbetsmarknaden. De skiljer sig från tidigare generationer genom att vilja självförverkliga sig själva samtidigt som de vill ha en hög lön och ett trivsamt arbete. Utifrån Self-Determination teorin som bygger på de tre psykologiska behoven autonomi, kompetens och relaterande är syftet med denna studie att undersöka om det som skrivs i media stämmer med vad som faktiskt motiverar 80-talister till arbete. En enkät genomfördes med 72 undersökningsdeltagare. Resultatet visade på ett signifikant samband mellan yttre motivation och arbetsmotivation.

The study aims to shed light on the phenomenon of employeeship at a Swedish Staffing Agencise . This has been done on the basis of two questions. How can employeeship look like in a service? What is the role given employeeship in developing contexts? In order to answer the purpose and issues have a quantitative approach been used. Based on the theoretical frame of reference has the form of surveys created.

Motivation och tematisk undervisning

Detta utvecklingsarbete har utgångspunkt i Skolverkets rapport Reformeringen av gymnasieskolan. Intentionerna med Läroplanen för de frivilliga skolformerna (Lpf 94), var att lärare skulle föra metoddiskussioner och ämnesintegrera olika kurser för att höja kvaliteten på undervisningen. Syftet med vårt utvecklingsarbete var att undersöka om tematisk undervisning kan öka motivationen och intresset hos elever för samhällskunskap och svenska. Utvecklingsarbetet har genomförts inom gymnasieskolan, Samhällsprogrammet, samhällsvetenskaplig gren, åk 2. Vi har genom kvalitativ fallstudiemetod intervjuat fyra elever samt utfört observationer och frågeformulär i helklass.

Patienters upplevelse av behandling vid anorexia nervosa : En ltteraturöversikt

Anorexia nervosa ses som allvarligaste och det tredje mest vanliga tillståndet bland ungdomar. Behandlingsalternativen för personer med anorexia nervosa ser olika ut i olika delar i Sverige men det viktigaste i behandlingen är att bryta svälten och hjälpa till att normalisera ätmönstret. Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att belysa vilka faktorer som individer med anorexia nervosa upplever ha betydelse för tillfrisknandet. Studien baserades på 11 kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar som hittades via sökningar i databaserna Cinahl, Psycinfo och PubMed. Analysförfarandet skedde med hjälp av manifest innehållsanalys.

The personnel policy program for the employees in studied municipality includes guidelines for the working environment, saying that health promoting activities is offered to all employees.                              Objective: To investigate how these activities were used and how the staff perceived the activities offered. The aim was also to find out how well the information about current health promotion efforts reached the staff.Method: A qualitative approach was used in the form of interviews. The sample consisted of municipal employees from seven different work sites.  A total of 12 women aged 32-52 years participated. The interviews were recorded and a hermeneutic theory was used to interpret the results.Results: The results showed that most informants used some form of fitness activity. In most cases health care-time was used for anything from walking to organized workouts. The great barrier was lack of information and lack of trained and dedicated health Motivators. In several cases, informants had no knowledge about what a health Motivator is supposed to do. The informants own suggestions for health promotion interventions included stress management and foot care.Conclusion: The survey showed that respondents were poorly informed about which wellness activities the municipality offered. The result could also be interpreted as a communication gap between the local authority, health Motivators and the employees. A request for group activities was detected.  .

The application of performance-based pay system among enterprises is becoming more frequent. Performance-based pay systems is used by organizations in hope of increasing productivity and have become more flexible. Employees may perceive the performance-based salary as a Motivator or a threat depending on lifesituation and personality. At a perceived threat, the employee may become stressed. The subject of this Master?s thesis is the process of change in a public library context, the implementation of the Stockholm City Library?s homepage Biblioteket.se. The aim is to examine the factors that influence this particular change and how they affect the process and extent of change in practice. The study designed as a qualitative case study is based primarily on document analysis, and supplemented by an interview. DiMaggio?s and Powell?s three mechanisms of change; coercive, mimetic and normative isomorphism, is applied.
