En kunskapsöversikt över psykologiska interventioner till föräldrar med cancersjuka barn

The purpose of this essay is to compile Interventions for parents of children with cancer in a literature review based on 13 peer-reviewed articles. The objective is twofold: to describe the aim of the Interventions, and to investigate their effectiveness. Results indicate that the aim is to reduce stress, prevent the development of posttraumatisk stress, improve problem-solving skills, improve coping behaviour or increase parents? knowledge of childcancer. Some of the Interventions have intended effect, others have effect but not intended effect, and finally some show no effect at all.

Background: Ill-health related to unhealthy lifestyle is increasing and despite existing knowledge about healthy lifestyle it is difficult to change behaviour. Counselling in the primary health care is often superficial and without critical elements for behaviour change. Aim: The aim of this paper to elucidate Interventions for change of lifestyle with respect diet and physical activity. Method: A literature review was carried out and ten scientific articles were analyzed and compiled in two main categories: design of these Interventions and participation in them. Results: Education, decision making, goal setting, feedback, social support and follow-up were identified as critical elements for behaviour change.

This study demonstrates that there is variety of treatment Interventions for children exposed to intimate violence. These Interventions are differentiated in design but a common ground for them all is that they strive to provide a chance for children exposed to intimate violence, to be able to speak about and process their feelings and violent experiences. The study?s aim is to, with a qualitative approach, seek understanding for the different actors who practice social work, see upon their task in the treatment Interventions that are provided for children exposed to intimate partner violence. The study is based on mapping the existing treatment Interventions for previously mentioned target group, in Malmö.

Överlevt trafficking i Nepal: vad händer sedan? : En studie om det rehabiliterande sociala arbetet

Human trafficking is one of the biggest social problems in Nepal with over 12.000 Nepali women and children being trafficked over the border to India every year. Despite the scale and the severe consequences of trafficking in the Nepalese society, very little is known about efforts to rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking. The purpose of this study was to illustrate the rehabilitation methods and Interventions in Nepal. It is based on the results from five interviews with three different nongovernmental organizations in Nepal. The result from this study shows that counseling is the main intervention for rehabilitation of the mental health of victims of trafficking.

In my thesis I examine the editorial theory and practice of the Nietzsche-Archives. At the center of the academic debate we find the posthumous edition Der Wille zur Macht, firstly published 1901 as Friedrich Nietzsches magnum opus. 1906 a new edition was published, which has been described by Nietzsche-scholars as canonical. The editors Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche and Heinrich Köselitz manipulated the literary remains of Friedrich Nietzsche. The Nietzsche-scholars interpret these textual corrections and Interventions differently.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of physical activity for people suffering from depression and which nursing Interventions nurses can do to make this patients start to exercise. The method used, is a review of articles from Ci-nahl, Cochrane, Elin, PsycInfo, Pubmed and Science Direct, which were analyzed according to Polit och Hunglers criteria for scientific research. The result from the nine studies shows that physical activity has an antidepressive and anxiety reduc-ing effect. Interventions emerged is supporting, encouraging, activating and teach-ing about physical activity as health-promoting measure. Conclusion: Nurses can as an intervention introduce exercise as complementary treatment for people suffering from depression.

Background: The speech- and language deficit aphasia affects 12 000 persons annually in Sweden. Aphasia is caused by injury in the brain and the most common etiology is stroke. According to the tool for describing and assessing aphasia, A-FROM (Kagan et al., 2008), the four following aspects of aphasia need to be considered: severity of aphasia, participation in life situations, communication and language environment and personal factors. Several different Interventions and treatments can be performed in every domain.
