Abstract (in English)The work that lead to a CE- marking and the creation of a total Drawing foundation on an existing machine carried out on the company Polytec Composites Sweden AB in Ljungby. The company have design an machine that exist in six example that runs in the production. To be able to use the machine the company have to work out a CE-marking. The process that summed up all the document that needs for the machine to make a CE-marking. The documentation includes a total Drawing over the machine and a risk analysis performed by a group employers on the company.

Thick skin in Texas - an investigation on storytelling and pictorial language. I took my starting point in a story about the cowboy Jaquin, who goes to the Tivoli, where he gets caught up in a dramatic adventure. I extracted three scenes from this story, and I experimented with whether it was possible to make the separate scenes tell their own story, in three separate Drawings. Without depending on the frame story or on any kind of text. In this project I partly wanted to explore the possibilities of the Drawing.

A prefabricated timber frame house previously built by Villafabriken AB has been modeled in Autodesk Revit Architectural, a 3D-program based on BIM-technology. This has been done tosee if it?s possible to produce the publications that Villafabriken demands from the designengineer?s work, and examine which possible extra values that may arise compared to traditional 2D-CAD Drawing.BIM is short for Building Information Modeling. Everything is stored in a single database and a change in the project file is automatically updated across the project. BIM provides more than just Drawings since information from the model can be retrieved in various ways such as lists and quantity schedules.It was possible to produce the publications that Villafabriken demanded using Revit, but BIM doesn?t only mean a new way of Drawing, it also require a change in the company?s process were the information from the model is being used..

Detta projekt har haft till syfte att få en ökad förståelse för materialet och dess egenskaper vid dragning. Det har utförts sex olika försök, vilka har genomförts med två olika ingångsvinklar, 12° och 18°, hos sten, liten nibs samt stor nibs. Försöken har genomförts i produktion där prover har tagits ut för att sedan ha analyserats i labb. Resultat från dragprov, hårdhetsprofil, martensithalts- samt smörjmedelsmängdsmätning har studerats och lett fram till slutsatser.Slutsatserna som dragits visar på att ytan på tråden dragen med ingångsvinkel 12° hade färre defekter än tråd som var dragen med 18°. Defekter som hittades på tråd dragen med stor nibs 18° bestod till stor del av tvärsprickor.

The reason for, and objective of, this project has been to research the relation between abstract and figurative illustration and how, if at all possible, one can bring them together and make them act as a whole.As a starting point for this project I used fragments from texts I?ve written during the past years. The texts deal with the thoughts and emotions that describe the state of melancholy or mania, two psychological conditions that are widely spread in our society. By illustrating these text passages in pencil Drawings I?ve been given the possibility to investigate how to combine figurative illustration with the abstract alike.

The county council of Värmland is taking part in a larger project which in general consists of surveying malign melanoma within different families. Counties in Sweden are following-up on patients suffering from malign melanoma, which is likely to have inheritable causes. When a suspected heritable malign melanoma is found an investigation is started. A pedigree is drawn, describing the propositus? family.Every individual in the pedigree is represented by a symbol.

This thesis has been carried out onbehalf of Lindborg & Sons in Örsundsbroand is a concluding part of the Bachelorof Science program in ConstructionEngineering at Uppsala University. Theaim of the project is to make a plea fora database of good examples of themachine room types using Revit Drawingprogram, and work out a correspondingworksheet .At the start of the process it becameapparent that there were somedifficulties in using Revit to creatingmachine room types of the variety whichthe company builds. For modelling ofoblique, curved and irregular lines, Ihad to use my AutoCAD Architecture andthen import them into Revit.The creation of calculus in Excel wastime consuming. On the other hand, it isa one-time work to create the template.The advantage of Excel is that there isno need for a re-calculation at the costof various types of machine hall. Allthat is needed is to replace the variousparameters.

Atlas Copco Tools develops and manufactures handheld industrial tools. Heat and surface treatments are used to provide the tools with certain properties. There are no routines for the choice of treatment or for how to specify treatment on Drawings. Production documents that are sent for production abroad may not be clear enough. Some treatments are known as trademarks and there are no instructions for how to specify these on Drawings and in CAD-models.The purpose of this master thesis work is to create recommendations for the procedure of choosing heat and surface treatment.

Projektet har gjorts på uppdrag av Ölandsfärjan AB för att tillverka elscheman för huvudinstrumenttavlan ombord på deras fartyg M/S Solsund. Anledningen till detta var att det inte fanns någon dokumentation om huvudinstrumenttavlan och detta försvårade arbetet med felsökning och underhåll. Därför önskades elscheman som kunde användas för att se skåpets funktioner och uppbyggnad.Uppdraget var att skapa ett layoutschema som beskriver indikeringslampor och knappars fysiska positioner för huvudinstrumenttavlans framsida. Det skulle även skapa ett kretsschema över förbrukardelen och ett kretsschema för kraftförsörjningsdelen som beskriver funktioner och utgående matningar. Kraftförsörjningen består av två generatorer och möjlighet till landanslutning.
