Climate change is a global and slow process that affects humans all over the world. Climate adaption within agriculture is important to reduce the risks that agricultures are exposed to because of Climate change.  Through Climate adaption you can improve the positive effects and take advantage of them optimally. How the Climate change affects agricultures varies depending on regions and societies. The purposes of the study are to examine how different actors experience the impacts of Climate change on the agriculture in Värmland.

Klimatförändringar, ett problem för vem? : En institutionell policystudie om könets betydelse i svensk klimatpolitik

The UN has a goal to gender-mainstream all politics, but its politics in Climate change is not gender-sensitive. The Swedish government has the same goal concerning gender mainstreaming, but does the Swedish politics of Climate change reach this goal? The aim of this paper is to examine the relations between the Swedish politics of gender and Climate change. In addition, the aim is also to investigate how gender is constructed in the Climate politics. To reach these aims, an institutional, policy and gender analysis is used.

This thesis aimed to, with the help of a case study, investigate and discuss state responsibility towards Climate refugees. The state of Tuvalu was selected because of their vulnerability as a low-lying island state. This was fulfilled by on-site study how the state Tuvalu acted to Climate threats, determine if the future migrants from Tuvalu can be counted as Climate refugees and find out if they are by that definition included by the UN Refugee Convention. The result indicated that the state of Tuvalu is adapting to Climate threats, that in the future the population can be seen as Climate refugees, if they are forced from their homes due to Climate change, and that they, despite that definition, can not be included by the UN Refugee Convention. The study also indicates a need for greater international protection of Climate refugees by, for example, an expansion of the UN Refugee Convention so that these vulnerable people do not fall into oblivion due to a question of definition..

This bachelor thesis, written as a part of the European Studies at Gothenburg University, is concerned with the European Unions? (EU) Climate political governance in their both Climate- and agricultural policy, and in particularly the question whether it is sustainable. This thesis intends to problematize if it is possible for the EU to continue to pursue its current agricultural policies, while at the sametime maintain its role as a sustainable actor on the global arena. The framework of theEUs? Climate policy governance disciplines this analysis.

Climate change is a phenomenon that know no boundaries. While focus on environment and Climate change has become highly prioritized, nationalism has spread across Europe. Nationalism is by many considered to refuse action to combat Climate change although some argue that nationalism could combat global Climate change. Previous research on how nationalism is implemented in environment and Climate politics has mainly focused on single parties. The thesis therefore aims to give a broad approach and compare how nationalism is used in environment and Climate politics by analyzing 4 European parties with either ethnic or civic nationalism and different roles in their party system. With a qualitative content analysis on party programs and election manifestos the findings imply that parties use nationalism in the Climate and environment discourse in a variety of ways.

EU:s klimatpolitik - förhandlingsvägen till framgång

Eleven years after broking the Kyoto-protocol, the European Union still stands in the front line, combating Climate change. How come the EU, with 27 diversified states, is able to integrate its members to what is widely considered the most progressive Climate policy in the world? This thesis takes a closer look at the negotiations that have shaped EU Climate policy. Using negotiation-models to categorize different aspects of EU Climatenegotiations, several key-findings are presented. The thesis concludes that while EU entered the Kyoto-protocol with little to lose because of external factors like previous energy-reforms in key member countries, it had plenty to win in global influence and the satisfaction of an overwhelmingly Kyoto-positive public.

Global warming is going to affect our society in many ways. One can say that the problem we face has two different sides. One of those sides has received a lot of attention, namely how we can reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases. However, because of the Climate system's inertia the Climate will continue to evolve over a period, no matter how much we will cut back on emissions. Because of this, we have to start adapting our society to the Climate changes that we cannot influence.

This examination paper is a study of the indoor Climate in a theatre and a practice room for orchestras placed in Sickla in Stockholm. The designer of the ventilation system wondered if he had managed too make a good environment for the users and he also wondered which of the rooms that had the most desirable Climate. The project includes polls for visitors, interviews of people connected to the rooms and measurements of the physical environment. The results show a small dissatisfaction about the thermal indoor Climate, it?s a little bit to cold and the air draws.

The well-being of employees has become a key concept in the rhetoric of the company boards and business literature of today. In order to meet its purpose this thesis analyzes employee satisfaction questionnaire data and economic results from more than 300 work groups.

The main question is: Which are the reasons for travellers not to use Climate compensation? The used methodology is qualitative and based on ten interviews with people who have travelled by air one or several times since January 2007, when the service was first established.

Conditions for Swedish forestry are expected to change in the future due to the Climate. Among other things, increased production is expected in a warmer Climate, mainly because of a longer growing season. With the changing Climate risk of damage by such as insects, fungi and storms are expected to increase. Hence, it is of highest importance for private forest owners to spread these risks in the way they cultivate their forest. In this study a qualitative method was used to examine ten private forest owners with forest properties within Kronoberg county, Sweden in their attitudes and actions to prepare in terms of Climate change and if they have been affected by the Climate change debate in their forest decisions.

Something that all people have come across and more or less experienced is Climate change. Climate change in itself is a very complex problem since there are no borders between countries that can stop the problem. The link between science and the public is largely in the hands of the media, since the media play an important role in defining environmental issues and to inform the public about research findings. In recent years, reports from the media showed a slightly skeptical and uncertain picture of this problem. This is despite the largely prevailing consensus among Climate scientists that there is an anthropogenic Climate change.

Due to human influences on the Climate an increase in Earth's mean temperature is today an accepted conception. With a rising temperature discussions have started how the Climate in an area will change in the future. Equally interesting and important is it also to study the precipitation in an area. Precipitation is the factor, next to temperature, that affects most how a Climate in an area looks like and feels. Since precipitation is connected to evaporation the latter parameter is also of interest to study.
