Beteendeproblematik utifrån ett klientperspektiv"Behavioural problems from a clients perspective"

ABSTRACT Behavioural problems are a compound conception for emotional difficulties at different levels. Individuals with behavioural problems could have difficulties with social relations, low self-esteem, anxiety and worry. The purpose with the examination was to describe how Clients apprehend their behavioural problems and what they consider could be the causes of it. The examination was based on the qualitative interviews with 5 Clients and a professional helper. We came in contact with our Clients through our practice.

This paper exemplifies how the physical environment affects Clients? experienced service quality and how companies work with the physical environment. In the empiric study, we conducted a case study and studied two hairdressing saloons. The study showed a connection between physical environment and experienced service quality in the business of hairdressing. Owners of hairdressing saloons perceive that a combination of the personal meeting and the physical environment influence the Clients? general impression and their experience of quality.

The purpose with this study was to get a deeper understanding of how the social welfare secretaries experience the meeting with Clients.Our main questions were how the social welfare secretaries thinks about their own way to behave in the meeting with Clients, which difficulties/obstacles there can be a and which factors they think affect the meeting. What is it that makes the social welfare secretaries experience a meeting as good or less good.Theory used: ?naive theory? and ?theory of communication?. The social welfare secretaries emphasised the importance of respect and clarity in their relations with the Clients. By contrast with literature, the hover between power and support was not found difficult.The goal is that the social welfare secretaries and the Clients understand each other and that they reach the purpose with the meeting..

Kommunikation mellan en reklambyrå och dess kunder

The purpose of this thesis is to find out how Clients at Effect Reklambyrå (an advertising agency) view the communication and relationship with Effect. Conclusions are then drawn based on what the Clients say. The conclusions show how Effect can improve in these areas.The study uses a qualitative research method since the phenomenon studied is complex and requires deep understanding. A total of 16 interviews took place. Seven Clients were interviewed by phone and nine Clients participated in a personal interview face-to-face.

Bemötandet inom socialtjänsten : En kvalitativ studie om klienters upplevelser

The aim of this study was to examine how Clients who have or have previously had a drug- and/or alcohol addiction experienced interchanges with social workers. In this study, eight semi-structured interviews were made with respondents from an out-patient clinic in a small town in Sweden. Questions were asked regarding Clients? experience of the social workers' attitudes during the initial meeting as well as all continuing meetings. Other possible variables that affected the interchanges, either positively or negatively, including how the Clients wanted to be treated, were also explored.

Gärningskvinnan : en kvalitativ studie om frivårdsinspektörers syn på den kvinnliga brottslingen

How do probation inspectors describe their female Clients and female offenders? Are there any discrepancies in treatment between male and female Clients? In what way is the social interaction between female Clients and inspectors constructed and described?  These are the issues we have explored in this study. Qualitative semi-structured interviews with a total of nine probation inspectors; six women and three men, were used in order to examine the probation inspectors? constructions of Clients and the construction of interaction between them. By applying Foucault?s theory of power relations, Hirdman?s gender theory and Olsson?s theory of preconceptions when analyzing the results five themes were identified; descriptions of the work of the female client, descriptions of the interaction with the female client, descriptions of the female offender, descriptions of backgrounds why women commit crimes and descriptions of society's view on the female offender.

The aim of this study was to understand how social workers perceive and understand violence and threats of violence from Clients, and how it effect their working environment. It seems that the respondents understand the violence and threats of violence from Clients as a result of the Clients background problems, vulnerability, dependency and from ?the reason" that the client is currently in the contact with the organization. How respondents interpret the client´s behaviour based on the above-mentioned factors, seem to determine how the respondents perceive and define the violence and threats of violence by Clients directed against them. Interestingly enough, although all respondents in the study experienced violence and threats of violence from Clients, none of them perceived themselves as exposed at work. The answer to this is consensual.

The main purpose of this qualitative study was to describe Clients? descriptions of the professional role case manager and how it relates to the job description provided from a project in which both case managers and Clients were participating. Both what case managers do and are expected to do were explored. The project involved case management in the purpose to strengthen and enhance the care and quality of life for Clients who are dually diagnosed. Interviews were conducted with five Clients and the result was analyzed with theoretical concepts from role theory.

Så tyckte jag det var... en retrospektiv studie av åtta ungdomars upplevelser av att vara på Staple behandlingshem

The aim of this university paper was to understand how eight former Clients at Staple reformatory had experienced their stay there. The Clients at Staple are young people between 13-20 years old, both boys and girls.The basic questions were: What picture do the Clients have of the treatment they received?What has been, from their perspective, the most important during their stay? Do the Clients think the time spent at Staple has helped them? And how do they describe their change, if there was any?We gathered the information from the youngsters with qualitative interviews based on a manual divided into covering different themesWe found that the time at Staple had been very positive for all the former Clients that we interviewed. They described the relations with the staff at Staple as central for their rehabilitation. The most important task for the people that work there is to set a good example for the client, and to be role models.

Möjligtvis stressad? En kvalitativ studie om stress på ekonomiskt bistånd, en enhet på Socialtjänsten

The purpose of this study was to examine and illustrate whether employed social workers, working with supplementary benefits at a social service office, felt stressed. If so was the case, we wanted to investigate if this stress that they felt had any effect on their Clients. This study was based on eight qualitative interviews, of which four was with social workers and four was with Clients. For a better understanding of our results we used Karasek & Theorells demand-control-support model.The study reveals that the social workers do feel stressed, but they only do so in periods. They declare that they would like to have more time for their work assignments, the meetings with the Clients in particulate.

Empowerment en vision eller ett faktum? : Personliga ombuds resonemang kring empowerment som arbetsmetod.

The purpose of our study is to examine the case managers reasoning and descriptions of empowerment as a method in their social work from a comprehensively perspective including family members. To manage with this purpose we interviewed two case managers, two Clients with mental disabilities and five family members. We have come to the conclusion that the case managers works more consist of advocacy than empowerment. Despite that we have found that the long term goal for the case mangers work is to give the Clients tools for empowerment. Our results also show that the Clients feel that they have gained and increased their ability to do things by themselves and to be a part of the community.
