The main purpose of the study is to give recommendations on how to improve the information Brochures. Within the study, eight people working with risk information have been interviewed and seven different risk information Brochures have been studied. Also, a theoretical analysis and a practical experiment were performed using Brochures from two municipalities.
På resa genom turistbroschyrernas Småland
The purpose of this study is to analyze how places can be marketed through tourism Brochures. The study is based on a discourse analysis and texts and pictures from three Brochures, which come from the region of Småland in Sweden, have been analyzed. The first brochure is from Visit Småland, the second from Vetlanda municipality and the third from Värnamo municipality. With the rise of globalization one of the consequences has been the increased opportunity for tourists to visit places all over the world, which also resulted in a greater competition between places than before. One reaction to this has been the increased marketing of each place unique characteristics in the tourist Brochures.
Visuell kommunikation i offentliga verksamheter
The aim of this paper is to investigate the subject matter of visual communication in presentation Brochures of two Swedish regions: Region Halland and Region Dalarna. My focuses are the following questions: what is the aim of the Brochures and in what ways does the visual material relate to that aim? How can strategic communication be defined through a visual perspective and in what ways is it useful in the context of presentation Brochures of the regions? What sort of communicational functions are specific for the visual material in relation to the written language of the Brochures? Lead by these questions, I start by analyzing the Brochures through a textual analysis and a social semiotic approach. The result shows that the aim seems to be both political and commercial, but that the visual elements relate more strongly to the commercial aim than to the political aim by the way they strive to present a positive image of the region. The visual elements work in strategic ways that I define as visual strategies.

En bild säger mer än klara ord : En undersökning av visuella och narrativa komponenter i myndighetstext
According to law all Swedish authorities must express themselves using correct, plain and comprehensible language whenever they communicate with the citizens in order to make it easy to understand what needs to be known to participate in the Swedish democratic society. I would like to explore if there are more tools than the language that could be used to make their communication easier to comprehend, in this case images and stories. In this essay I will investigate the relationship between the written words and the visual components ? images and illustrations ? in Brochures from Swedish authorities. I will also try to identify possible narratives in the Brochures, and examine the functions of these narratives.
Kulturarvsf?rmedlingens v?g genom ett sekel i turismhistorien. En studie av V?stkustens turistpublikationer
In this essay I investigate how prehistoric cultural environments are portrayed in tourist publications. Through discourse analysis I aim to find clues on how cultural heritage is discussed and represented in existing media. I also investigate how the available media is affected by the tourist industry and its commercial motives. In recent portrayals of cultural heritage sites, there has been less information about the underlying history and other values have taken its place. Discourse about immaterial cultural heritage has not been present in tourist Brochures from the 20th century but has been introduced in recent years while older publications discuss the role of our cultural heritage as essential components in our current society.

Jakten på talang : En studie i hur employer branding kommuniceras effektivt till studenter
Purpose/Aim: To identify which channels of communication are most effective in conveying consumer brands to students. The main areas of research are social media, Brochures , employees, and face-to-face interaction as with job fairs, study visits and lectures.Material/Method: Group interviews, literature, electronic sources, Internet sources.Main results: The results of the study show that employees are seen as the most trustworthy source since they are thought of as the most honest. Social media are seen as the communication channel with the broadest range of information but with the possibility of appearing unproffesional. Brochures were considered to be the least effective communication channel as these are rarely read and when they are, often seem contrived and give an overly rigid impression of the company. Face-to-face communication was considered to be the most effective way to gain a professional connection but was as viewed upon with certain skepsis due to the companies tendencies to at times present a false projection of themselves at events such as job fairs.
100g glättat : En ideologikritisk analys av neoliberalismens inverkan på fristående gymnasieskolors marknadsföring
Swedish school system is today victim of facing competition. Today sees the school leadership the students like customers whom they depend to operate their school. But I have asked myself, what will be the new students see and how much this spectacle in both money and time that project will cost for the municipality and school teachers. The question is if whether the school will be better when the competition becomes school or just better marketed? I'm interested in how clearly ideologies emerge in schools Brochures if we study them at critically and analytically way.

The paint market of today is a jungle whit an enormous range of different paint types; there all has different properties and different compositions, some with big influence on the environment and some whit less influence on the environment.
