Wind power in Sweden is expanding in response to the government's decision that 49% of Sweden's power should originate from renewable energy sources by the year 2020. Problems with noise and sound emissions related to wind turbines are a constant argument against the wind power expansion and this paper means to examine if vertical axis wind turbines might be a viable alternative to the conventional horizontal design for noise sensitive areas. In order to determine factors like difference in frequency, noise propagation and noise emission level, measurements of both horizontal and vertical axis wind turbines have been completed and the data analyzed with MATLAB. It is shown that there is a difference in how the noise from the two types of turbines propagates due to avariation in the frequency spectra of the emitted sound. It is also shown that vertical axis wind turbines generate a lower sound emission with less intensity inthe lower frequencies..

The aim with this thesis is to investigate teachers view on gender equality and what this may be due to. Teachers are supposed to follow the curriculum where it is written that gender equality should be encouraged. After interviewing teachers it has come to light that depending of the teacher?s personal interest and the school?s management of the question, there is a difference between how teachers are working with gender equality. That is why we want to know why gender equality should be encouraged and how teachers should reach the aim from the curriculum about gender equality.

Med utgångspunkt från den teoretiska bakgrunden, definitionen av svarta hål och deras generella egenskaper har jag studerat villkor för bildandet av svarta hål från döende singulära stjärnor. Supernovaprocessen beskrivs tillsammans med hur neutronstjärnor kan påverkas av destabiliserande mekanismer som t.ex. kaonkondensation. Olika observationer samt alternativa teorier läggs fram som argument och motargument. Utifrån detta underlag drar jag slutsatsen att svarta hål kan existera i fler varianter än vad som hittills antagits, främst i form av s.k.

Syftet med undersökningen är att se hur pedagoger på fem kommunala förskolor i en sydsvensk kommun resonerar kring utevistelse, samt om det är skillnad mellan förskolorna utifrån olika områden så som hälsa, lärande, social utveckling och ett par områden till. Vi använde oss av den kvantitativa metoden enkätundersökning för att få svar på våra frågeställningar. Sedan analyserade vi empirin och tidigare litteratur genom de fyra ovan nämnda områden samt övriga argument för eller emot att gå ut. Pedagogerna som medverkat i vår undersökning anser att det är viktigt att var ute, för både barn och vuxna. Undersökningen visar att det spelar mindre roll var man arbetar eller hur länge för verksamhetens utevistelser. Viktigast för barnens fysiska hälsa och lärandeförutsättningar är vilka pedagoger som arbetar med dem, på vilken förskola de går samt personalens personliga inställning till utevistelse.

Our purpose was to shed light on how parents act in respect of providing alcohol to young people when they ask for a taste of home, or wish to bring alcohol to such a party. We used qualitative interviews and the results show that some of the respondents think that it may be acceptable to provide alcohol, while some do not. The results also show that the respondents think that parents are important as a model for the young. They could not purchase alcohol for the purpose of giving it to the young but only if alcohol is available at home. The reason for this behavior is the parents' assessment that the young person demonstrates a level of maturity for his age that they are presumed to be able to handle a small amount of alcohol.

The Church of Sweden sent during the spring 2010 two documents, Teologiskagrundprinciper för arbetet I 2006 års handboksgrupp and Mässans grundordning forconsideration. The documents are parts in the work with writing a new service-book for theChurch of Sweden. After the documents had been sent for consideration by the dioceses therehas been a discussion about the proposal to make the preparation in the service of HolyCommunion facultative. My main question has been to se if there will be any change of theconfession, faith and doctrine in the Church of Sweden if the preparation becomes facultative.I have seen that the service-book is an expression for the confession of the Church of Sweden,therefore there will be no change of the confession of the Church of Sweden, but a change ofits expression.I have seen that there is no consensus in how the dioceses react over what is written in thetwo documents about the forgiveness and the atonement. My conclusion is that it may bydifficult for the Church of Sweden to fix a new service-book without first fix what the Churchof Sweden means with forgiveness and atonement..

Detta arbete handlar om arbetshästar i kommunal förvaltning ur hållbarhets och tillväxtssynpunkt. Arbetet reder i litteraturstudien ut begreppet hållbar utveckling och redogör för en modell för kommunal tillväxt. Hållbarhetsperspektivet innefattar de tre vanliga delarna som brukar avhandlas i frågor om hållbar utveckling. Dessa frågor är hållbarhet ut ett ekonomiskt såväl som ett socialt och ekologiskt perspektiv. I kapitlet om hållbar utveckling presenteras både äldre argument samt nya sätt att se på begreppet. I avsnittet om kommunal tillväxt redogörs för en modell för sweet spots för kommunal tillväxt.

This paper was written at the Baltic Business School in Kalmar. The purpose was to analyze and determine the importance of packaged holidays within the tourism and travel sector and how value can be created for the customer. This have been done with a focus on the chosen parts; customer needs and how packaging can create value, how companies can work to give the customer increased value through packaging, last but not least how companies segment the market and if there are specific segments that prefer packaging. We have applied the qualitative method through conducting four face-to-face interviews and one phoneinterview. The purpose of this paper is not to generalize, but to show patterns in the chosen subject.

This examination project is carried out for Waséns Traffic School in Linköping. The task was to develop a completely new windows application and a webpage that connects to the same MySQL database. The windows application (ATSV) is a program intended to carry out all the administrative tasks that a clerk at a traffic school may need: pupil management, reservations, billing and register functions. The applications was developed in C++ using Visual C++ from Microsoft. The connection to the MySQL database was made possible by using the class package MySQL++.

Undersökningar visar att elever har svårt att ta till sig evolutionsteorin och i stället väljer att förklara evolutionen med icke vetenskapliga argument. Till exempel väljer de att förklara fjällharens vita vinterpäls med att en vit päls gör att den syns sämre. Det här är ett exempel på att eleverna gärna förklarar evolutionen som behovsstyrd. En laboration utformades för att illustrera hur variation och urval ger evolution i en plantpopulation. Laborationen går ut på att eleverna under en tid studerar en population med plantor som utsätts för torka.
