Friskvårdsprogram : Ett medarbetarperspektiv på hälsa, motivation och lärande

Due to an increasing amount of people being put on a sick-list the issue of work health has come to receive a lot more attention. To confront the problem, different varieties of keep-fit measures have been launched in the workplace. A prime example of such a measure can be found at Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad, which this survey is investigating. The primary goal of this study is to investigate the use of the Keep-fit measures program and to identify what motivates the employees to utilize this program. Further we would like to investigate if the program, through motivation and learning, generates improvement and retention of the individuals? health.

Bloggen i tidskriftsbranschen : En studie om hur tidskrifter riktade till unga kvinnor använder bloggen på webb och i tryck

Avsikten med denna studie har varit att kartlägga hur tre svenska tidskrifter riktade till unga kvinnor använder bloggen, dels på hemsidan och dels i den tryckta upplagan. Studien har även syftat till att urskilja om det finns ett samarbete mellan dessa medier och hur detta i så fall tar sig uttryck. Vidare har jag med denna studie velat klargöra vilka skillnader och likheter det finns gällande detta användande de tre tidskrifterna emellan och även tydliggöra hur de redaktionellt skrivna bloggarna används.Denna uppsats har således varit avgränsad till tre av de största tidskrifterna riktade till unga kvinnor i Sverige; ELLE, SOLO och VeckoRevyn. Samtliga tre använder bloggar på hemsidan, har en liknande målgrupp och ligger i ungefär samma prisklass.Studiens referensram tar ett avstamp i Public Relations där det tittas närmare på Co-Creational Perspective och Excellence Theory. Eftersom bloggen är en produkt på Internet, ligger fokus sedan på Public Relations på Internet, även kallat e-PR och Online Public Relations.

Emotionell intelligens : En studie av den dskursiva produktionen av begreppet emotionell intelligens i ett organisationssammanhang

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a highly used concept in contemporary organizations, especially in the recruitment process or education of employees and managers. The aim of this study was to examine the discursive production of the concept emotional intelligence and how it, linked to an organizational context, is expressed in web-based articles and course homepages. In total 11 texts related to emotional intelligence and organizational contexts were used as the object of study. A three-stage model was used as a method for analysis. The model included a content analysis, argument analysis and a deconstruction analysis in order to expose what was said about emotional intelligence and how it was said.

The purpose of this study is, based on theories of gender and hegemonic masculinity, to studyhow masculinity and femininity is constructed and reproduced in one of the most popularSwedish podcast: Filip & Fredriks podcast. The main theory in this study is that gender issocially created and sustained by humans through language and interaction with others.The study's research questions is: How are gender roles/gender portrayed in Filip & Fredrik'spodcast? What characteristics are attributed to men and women in Filip & Fredrik's podcast?How does Filip & Fredrik's podcast represents conditions and power relations between menand women?Through an linguistic textual analysis, which is an application of discourse analysis, I seek toget beneath the surface meanings of texts and examine more implicit social meanings andideologies regarding gender. It includes an analysis of metaphors, word choices and syntax.The analysis shows underlying values and ideologies that indicates gender structures in abroader societal context. Choice of words and metaphores in Filip & Fredriks's podcastexpresses symbolism where men and male-typical attributes are highly valued, whilst womanand female-typical attributes is being devalued and representative of the opposite.Masculinities and femininities are also constructed and represented in various ways throughsentence constructions that guides the listeners in certain directions.

Nya medier, gamla regler : En studie om svenska journalisters förhållningssätt till medieetik på Twitter

The aim of this study was to look into the approach of swedish journalists towards Twitter and how they apply the media ethics when using Twitter.The method for this research was a survey answered by 371 Swedish journalists, from workplaces of various contents and geographical spread, of which 271 were users of Twitter. Our results are based on the survey and theories such as the social responsibility theory, the code of ethics for the Swedish press, radio and television, gatekeeping, normalizing twitter and the private sphere of Habermas.Our results showed that swedish journalists aim to apply the media etics in most aspects such as objectivity and gatekeeping. Also the guidelines of using twitter as a journalist, according to the respondents, mainly comes from the workplace and not the code of ethics. It also showed that the majority of the journalists were pleased with the current guidelines, or the absence of guidelines..

SAMMANFATTNING Syftet med denna undersökning var att försöka hitta de eventuella positiva effekter som kunde tänkas uppstå vid genomförande av arbetsplatsförlagd utbildning internationellt (utlands APU) för att i en förlängning kunna använda det som ett pedagogiskt hjälpmedel för de elever som studerar på Allhamra gymnasieskolas industriprogram. Materialet till undersökningen grundar sig på rapporter från Utbildningsdepartementet och intervjuer från elever på Allhamra gymnasieskolas industriprogram. Metoden som valdes var kvalitativa intervjuer med halvstrukturerad intervjuform och ett fenomenografisk beskrivande perspektiv användes vid återgivande av informanternas svar där en hermeneutisk tolkning av intervjuerna gjordes. Det slutliga deltagarantalet uppgick till åtta personer. Resultatredovisningen och resultatsammanfattningen visar att informanter som har genomfört utlands APU har fått yrkesmässig utveckling därmed nya kunskaper, de har även förbättrat sina språkkunskaper och fått ett stärkt självförtroende Det framkom även idéer hur studiemotivationen kan förbättras..

Förlagsredaktörers informationsbeteende. En studie av förlagsredaktörer som arbetar med facklitteratur.

The main purpose of this work was to examine the information behavior of nonfiction publishing Company editors. Three problem areas were presented and expressed in the following questions:- What is the information need of the editor in every day work?- Which sources of information do the editors use when they are looking for information and how do they make use of them?- Are there any factors that have an influence on the information behavior of the editors and in what way do the factors effect the information behavior of the editors in their everyday work? And finally, do the editors experience any factors as barriers to information behavior?Six editors, all with academical background, all employed in different publishing companies were interviewed. The result of this study have been analysed within a theoretical framework influenced by the work of Tom Wilson, Lars Höglund and Olle Persson and Block and Lagberg. The result shows that the editors had various regular needs of information in their every day work.

The focus group sessions were made during February, March and April 2012.Main results The main findings in this study are that users expect the communication flow in social network sites (SNS) during a crisis is to be a shortcut to information without a detour through organizations or traditional media. Although we find personal gratification, like interpersonal communication, quick information and sharing feelings and experience with others by using SNS during a crisis, users also tend to be hesitant about the credibility of the shared information. Alongside the user created content, we look to professional media experts and organizations as a guarantee for the veracity of the shared information.

Motivation i praktiken - En fallstudie om vad som skapar ho g motivation hos erfarna IT-konsulter

The purpose of this study is to examine what creates motivation in the workplace of a small company with a high employee satisfaction index. The case study consists of qualitative interviews that help explain what the most important motivational factors are for the experienced IT consultants in a company that was founded by a circle of friends. The study concludes that the unique and equal pay model implicates an economic risk to the individual consultant but results in liberties, synergies and benefits. These appeal more than either self-employment or work at a larger IT consultancy that several consultants have backgrounds in. An expansion is ongoing since two years back, which threatened the culture but implicated opportunities for the individual consultants.

The aim of this thesis is to highlight how male and female characters are portrayed in children?s books, that have football as a theme, and are written for children between 9-12 years of age. I have chosen this subject so that I, as a pre-school teacher, can adhere to the curriculum?s aim of maintaining the school?s responsibility for counteracting traditional gender roles. I aim to study how gender is represented in literature for children.I shall apply Yvonne Hirdman?s theories on the gender system which is built on the principals whereby the sexes are separate entities and there is a structural hierarchy between them.

This paper explores the emic use of ?Internet trolls" and trolling behaviour in one specific Internet community. The findings are compared with, and put in relations to the conventional definition of Internet-trolls as individuals who deliberately, typically anonymously, antagonize other users of online common spaces.A forum dealing with matters of relationship issues in the Swedish online community Message Board of Familjeliv.se, was the subject of field-work that provided the basic empirical material for the research; three comparable threads on the subject of infidelity. These could all be said to contain suspected trolling, and such suspicions were also ascribed participants throughout the discussions. The analysis was undertaken mainly in terms of quality of narrative, performance and interaction.A comparative method and a genre analysis out of a holistic and functionalistic perspective is used to shed some light on how forum participants organize themselves and steer narratives towards desired outcomes.
