Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att utreda möjligheten att klassificera en vägbeläggningskvalitet genom att utnyttja signaler från en bils befintliga givare. Vidare är examensarbetet enförstudie till ett eventuellt större projekt, som skall leda till utvecklingen av ett komplettklassificeringssystem som underlättar för väghållaren (t.ex. Vägverket) att inventeravägbeläggningens kvalitet. Uppdragsgivare har varit Semcon AB i Göteborg.I arbetet ingick att sätta systemavgränsningar beträffande olika beläggningstyper som skall kunnadetekteras, vilka hastigheter som skall tillämpas vid mätningarna samt vilka signaler från bilensgivare som är relevanta att utnyttja.Arbetet bestod i huvudsak av insamling av mätdata samt analys av denna i MATLAB1. Utifrån deninformation som den insamlade mätdatan gav, kunde sedan ett robust klassificeringssystem skapas,vilket med god precision klarar av att klassificera fyra olika beläggningstyper.Examensarbetet visar att det finns goda möjligheter till ett fördjupat arbete som kan resultera i ettför väghållaren mycket effektivt klassificeringsverktyg som underlättar att upprätthållastatusinformationen beträffande vägbeläggningens kvalitet.

Detta examensarbete är utfört vid Luleå Tekniska Universitet på uppdrag åt Hägglunds Drives AB i Mellansel. Hägglunds Drives tillverkar kompletta hydrauliska drivsystem, som inkluderar hydraulmotorer. I en hydraulmotor uppstår det slitage när metalliska ytor kommer i kontakt med varandra när till exempel ett lager får otillräcklig smörjning. Slitaget ger upphov till metalliska partiklar som cirkulerar i hydrauloljan och samlas upp i ett filter. Genom att samla upp och studera slitagepartiklarna kan man uttala sig om hydraulmotorns kondition.

At the plant of Sandvik do Brasil in São Paulo there is a need for improving the transport of inserts between the plant building and the stock building. The idea is to install a system with an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) to take care of this transportation. The purpose of this report is to present which demands there are on the system and to find the best solution according to the demands.To conclude this work a study was made of the plant and the AGV technology was examined. Several providers of AGV solutions were contacted to get information about prices and detailed solutions.The conclusion was that the most suitable system for this application is a small unit load vehicle using inductive wire as guiding system..

För att optimera sin teknik i olika kastgrenar använder idrottsmän på elitnivå idag mätningar med höghastighetskameror. Kamerautrustningen är dyr och svår att frakta. Utvärdering av det filmade materialet görs till stor del för hand. För att förenkla mätningarna fanns en ide om ett system som baserar sig på givare monterade inne i kastredskapet. Visionen är att bygga ett kastredskap som kan registrera sina egna rörelser under ett kast.

In 2008 the National Library of Sweden decided to give upClassification system for Swedish libraries and start using DDC(Dewey Decimal Classification) from January 1 2011. Thisdecision has influenced the whole Swedish library system and longbefore the National Library of Sweden took this decision thequestion had been thoroughly discussed and debated in Librariancircles.The aim of this thesis is to find out which arguments have beenintroduced in the debate, if the discussion has changed from beforethe decision to go over to DDC was taken to after wards, and if sohow it has changed. My thesis will discuss the following threequestions:? Which arguments were brought forward in the debate,both for and against a transition?? How has the debate about the Swedish libraries?transition from Classification system for Swedishlibraries to DDC changed from before the decision ofthe Royal Library was taken to after?? What conclusions can you draw from the debatewhich has been led about the transition to DDC?The empirical material consists of six articles dealing with thetransition to DDC and in the analysis of this material I have used atext analyses, analysis of. The analysis shows that more or less thesame arguments for and against have been used in practically allthe articles, and the debate has not changed very much.

Animal welfare in Sweden has gone through major changes during the later years. In 2004, Swedish Animal Welfare Agency took over the central responsibility for the animal welfare from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, and in 2007 the board again became the central authority for animal welfare in Sweden.Even the practical supervision has changed, from the 1 of January 2009 the supervision is to be performed by the county administrative boards, instead of by the individual municipalities. Since 2006 every horse in the European Union has to have an identification card, in Sweden called a ?horse passport? which describes the color and markings of the horse as well as any veterinary treatments.The ELOF-project, a collaborative project between the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the county administrative boards, intends to make the animal welfare supervision effective, standardised, fair and risk-based. Because of the takeover of the supervision and of the ELOF-project the Örebro County Administrative Board has began to make an inventory of the number of horses and horsefarms in the county. Another Ethology and Animal Welfare-student and I did, in collaboration with the county administrative board created a checklist that in connection with the inventory will lead to a risk-based animal welfare supervision.

Ear Acupuncture is an alternative form of treatment that has been shown to relieve anxiety and depression in previous studies.Aim: To evaluate ear acupuncture as a group treatment for depression and anxietyMethod: A psychiatric outpatient clinic has been offering group treatments with ear acupuncture for anxiety and depression for 5 weeks. Participants of the study have answered self-rating scales Montgomery Åsberg Depression Rating Scale, Beck Anxiety Inventory and Sheehan Disability scale before and after the treatment period. Material was collected in the period 2008-2012 and has been analyzed in SPSS.Results: Data from 31 patients were included in the study. The results from the study showed a significant difference, between the measurements before and after treatment, with a reduction of the average values in the three different scales.Summary: From this study, it is difficult to draw any conclusions about the effect of ear acupuncture.

SammanfattningScanias lastbilar har under de senaste åren haft en snabb utveckling när det gäller elektronik och styr - reglerteknik. En givare som inte har haft samma utveckling är yttertemperaturgivaren som introducerades i Scanias lastbilar 1987. Totalt finns det idag 10 olika ECU-system som använder sig av givarsignalen. Det har visat sig att yttertemperaturgivaren i Scanias lastbilar visar för högt värde i vissa körfall. Stora avvikelser på yttertemperaturvärdet har inte varit ovanliga när motorn har varit varm och lastbilen färdats i hastigheter under 30 km/h eller kör på tomgång, till exempel vid ett rödljus.

The main purpose of this bachelor?s thesis is to examine how Swedish upper secondary school librarians and related staff relate to the online encyclopaedia Wikipedia. The research is placed in the all-embracing context of information literacy and source criticism on the Internet. The study was carried out in the form of qualitative interviews and based on two theoretical bases: firstly, the concept of cognitive authority stipulated by Patrick Wilson, and secondly the idea that Wikipedia has a draw towards late modern epistemological assumptions. The latter theory was also associated with the perceptions of knowledge among the library staff interviewed.

In this study we are seeking to discover the norms in the design of logotypes and how they havechanged over time. To achieve this we have chosen to analyze the logotypes of twenty companies withthe largest expenditure on advertising in Sweden. We mapped chosen design attributes within the logoto discover the similarities and then we selected the five oldest brands to analyze how their logos havechanged over time. The design changes in the logotypes over time is can be related to the changingattitudes of the general public and the designers ambitions to draw on convention to create iconic designthat will spark brand-recognition. However many changes can?t be directly explained through changesin convention.

SAAB Support and Services, som är servicecenter för flygplanskomponenter, utför idag huvuddelar av sina mätningar manuellt, mätningar som ibland kan ta upp till fyra dagar. För att höja noggrannheten samt öka effektiviteten köpte de år 2007 in ett automatiskt testkoncept från MK Test systems.I examensarbetet har vi först undersökt den inköpta utrustningen.Sedan har vi tagit fram rutiner för kalibrering av utrustningen som klarar SAAB:s krav. Därefter har vi arbetat fram kravspecifikationer och instruktioner för hur utrustningen ska användas. Under arbetets gång har vi samlat in information för att kunna göra en utvärdering av hur lämplig utrustningen är att använda för att testa flygplanskomponenter.Arbetet resulterade huvudsakligen i tre st manualer som går igenom tre olika områden; kalibrering, kablagetest och ett standardtest för t.ex.paneler och styrboxar..

Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka vilka tekniker för trådlös överföring av¨styr- och mätsignaler som finns på marknaden och vilka av dessa som är lämpliga att användas i industrimiljö. Rapporten belyser även vilka möjligheter som finns med trådlös överföring samt vilka problem och osäkerheter som är förknippade med den trådlösa tekniken.De tekniker som tas upp i rapporten är Bluetooth, ZigBee, WLAN och GSM/GPRS. Av dessa tekniker är det bara ZigBee som är utvecklad för att överföra signaler från sensorer och givare. De andra teknikerna är utvecklad för andra ändamål men de kan även användas till överföring av styr- och mätsignaler..

From a time where employees often remained at one company until retirement, globalization and changed employment patterns have created a more mobile labor market in the last years. In an effort to expand the connection between organization and employee a rising interest in corporate alumni networks has emerged. Previous research has shown that conditions for such networks are formed through employees social identification, perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship and can be shaped by company's HR practices.This paper aims to examine two case companies' perceived benefits through alumni relations as well as their HR prac-tices, in order to increase understanding surrounding the relationship between the two areas. Further the study intends to draw conclusions about the role of corporate alumni networks in the creation of the received benefits.The study indicates that HR practices, through the creation of an organizational citizenship behavior, can influence the conditions for beneficial alumni relations. Results show that some expected benefits of alumni relations can be re-ceived through strong citizenship.
