Det innebär att medieproducenter påverkar sin publik främst genom att bekräfta förhållanden som redan existerar i dagens samhälle (Gripsrud, 2008, s. 57). Det ger även medier makt att förändra vilka diskurser som blir de rådande i samhället. Magasinen har en maktposition inom medievärlden eftersom de riktar sig till ett specifikt kön inom en åldersbaserad målgrupp.

This bachelor thesis is an exploratory investigation about the phenomenon 'Gamification', which by some definitions is about implementing game elements into non-game contexts. For example exercise services as Runkeeper and Nike Plus who both are available on android and iOS platforms. This study is mainly about the potential value of gamified systems and services for companies and its users and how such a system or service is developed. The thesis also discusses the development aspect of gamified systems in order to give the reader a more ?in depth? understanding about the phenomenon.

Today, youth crime is a topic that recurs daily in the news and politics; the subject arouses motions both within the professional community and among private individuals. The purpose of this study was to shed light on how social workers reason and work with young people aged 15 and above who are in criminal environments. We also shed light on how motivation can contribute to young people accepting the voluntary interventions that social workers have available. The study helps draw attention to the potential challenges that social services face when motivational work is insufficient, and the concern is not sufficiently high to warrant the use of coercive interventions. Our empirical material was collected using semi-structured interviews with social workers who have a degree of Bachelor's degree in Social Work, whose work is to carry out investigations of young people who, due to their own behavior, may be in need of support or protection from social services.

I denna uppsats undersöker jag hur och i vilken utsträckning den svenska utbildningspolitiska diskursen i riksdagen präglas av neoliberalismen åren 2008-2012. Neoliberalismen konceputaliseras utifrån den franska sociologen Pierre Bourdieus begrepp doxa och hans teorier om neoliberalismen som en doxa samt tidigare forskning om neoliberalismen. Det materialet som undersöks för att analysera den svenska utbildningspolitiska diskursen är utbildningsposten i de årliga budgetdebatterna åren 2008, 2010 och 2012. För att ordna analysen av materialet använder jag mig av diskursanalysen som metod; i analysen undersöks specifikt två diskurser som dominerar i det undersöka materialet. Dels diskursen om kunskapsmätningar, där PISA-undersökningen dominerar, samt diskursen om skolans ökade segregering.

I denna studie undersöks möjligheten att ersätta en del av oljeförbrukningen på LULEKRAFT AB med naturgas. LULEKRAFT AB är ett kraftvärmeverk i storleksordningen 350 MW bränsle och 100 MW elkraft och 200 MW värme ut. Producerad elkraft säljs till närliggande SSAB och producerat hetvatten distribueras via ett fjärrvärmesystem. Som primärbränsle används en blandgas bestående av processgaser från SSAB:s metallurgiska enhet. Vid lågt värmevärde eller brist på blandgas, vid perioder av hög last samt vid uppstart av anläggningen används olja.

This study will focus on the role of social services and their experiences regarding why youth become involved in criminal activities, as well as the preventive measures social services offer to address this issue. The paper employs the theories of territorial stigmatization, systems theory, and labeling theory (of deviant behavior). The study is based on a qualitative method. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers who have experience working with youth involved in criminal activities or at risk of involvement. The results indicate that a lack of social cohesion can be a contributing factor to youth involvement in crime, and various factors can lead individuals to such situations.

Företaget Dramatify tillhandahåller en tjänst för TV- och filmproduktions-bolag att hantera kommunikation och information kring sina produktioner med hjälp av mobiler och datorer oavsett var de befinner sig. De upplever långa responstider för sin webbapplikation och gav som förslag att studera lagring av produktionsdata i cache. För att lösa problemet har en under-sökning av tidigare arbeten inom området och lämpliga tillämpningar för att implementera, testa och analysera prototyper som lagrar data i cache.Resultatet blev en prototyp för klient respektive server med strategin att lagra varje produktion styckvis i cache. För att testa prototyperna skapades en implementation av automatiska tester som lagrade mätdata om relate-rad prestanda till cache för sidanrop från webbapplikationen i olika en-heter och webbläsare. En analys av mätdata gjordes och det visade sig att klientprototypen var 32 procent snabbare och serverprototypen 21 procent snabbare jämfört med Dramatifys implementation..

The aim of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of how social services utilizing Chapter 5. Section 11 of the Swedish social service act when it comes to identify the needs of women experiencing domestic violence. Furthermore the study aims to investigate how the social services look at the need of women experiencing domestic violence seeking protective shelter together with their pets. The study's purpose and research question was answered with a qualitative approach where semi-structured interviews were conducted. Det har länge förts en diskussion kring om det materiella sambandet till redovisning är det bäst lämpade sättet att fastställa beskattningsunderlaget. Den senaste utredningen kring förslaget om en frikoppling är SOU 2008:80. Denna utredning har varit utgångspunkten för vår undersökning, för att besvara vår frågeställning kring huruvida det föreligger ett behov av den föreslagna frikopplingen samt eventuella konsekvenser. Vi har utgått från en induktiv ansats och har utfört denna uppsats som en kvalitativ studie. Våra primärdata är inhämtad från intervjuer med revisorer från två av Sveriges största redovisning- och revisionsbyråer.  Vi har även inhämtat information från sex olika intressenter i deras remissyttranden över SOU 2008:80.

My master?s thesis is a study of acquisition of photographies during 1958-2008. The questions I proceed from is what patterns lies behind the Royal library's acquisition of photography and how the process of acquisition looks like. The theoretical base which I lean on consists partly of a problematization of the process of cultural heritage and partly of organizational theory. The problematization of the process of cultural heritage is my foundation of this essay.

AbstractThis report intends through a case study to investigate if lightweight concrete isappropriate as main material in the outer wall of a seven storey residential building.A technical design is carried out in accordance with the definitions and requirementsfor passive houses, given by FEBY?s1 ?Demand specification for passive houses?.A literature review is also carried out for a comparison between regular bolt wall andlight weight concrete wall, with a focus on the safety of moisture.The lightweight concrete block used in the report is as a celblock produced by thecompany H+H Sweden AB.The methods used have resulted in compliance with requirements andrecommendations from authorities. Calculations of energy, noise and moisture riskassessment has been carried out.The work has resulted in the conclusion that the lightweight concrete itself is notable to isolate in the extent necessary to obtain chosen U-value of 0,1 W/m2 ° C,without getting to thick. Therefore additional insulation is needed. There are fewrelevant reference objects built with only light weight concrete.
