Samtidigt diskuteras de konsekvenser som globaliseringen av kulturella produkter kan ha på världen och om detta leder till homogenisering eller hybridisering av kultur.Kvinnomagasinet Cosmopolitan är ett globalt varumärke som existerar i över 100 länder. Den fråga som uppstår är om en stark kulturell produkt som Cosmopolitan har satt en standard för andra kvinnomagasins estetiska uttryck i andra länder.

With the help of image analysis and scent theory, we have made an analysis that explains how the perfume smells in advertising. There are many different factors that play a role in our perception of smell by image. We have found that using the connotations we can get a sense of the scent. What helps us along the way, the colors, the women and the environment. From this one different conclusions are mad and we create a scent sensation..

En kvalitetsförbättrande metod som senaste åren blivit vanlig inom Hälso- och sjukvård är Lean Healthcare - en verksamhetsfilosof som går ut på att eliminera slöseri och skapa värde för patienterna. I takt med att informationssystem och informationsteknik (IT) har utvecklats har informationsförsörjning fått en allt viktigare roll i vårdprocessen. Tidigare undersökningar visar dock att vårdpersonalen upplever att det finns många brister kopplade till informationssystem och IT. En explorativ fallstudie genomfördes där kvalitativ data samlades in med hjälp av intervjuer, dokumentstudier samt observation. Syftet var att beskriva hur informationsförsörjningen påverkats i ett kliniskt mikrosystem och i en vårdprocess som infört Lean.

Studien syftar till att undersöka hur reflektion över konstnärlig praktik kan formuleras och utvecklas. Uppmärksamheten vänds mot elevens konstnärliga arbetsprocess där det reflekterande förhållningsättet blir en del av arbetsprocessen. Att införa reflektion som obligatorisk i elevernas konstnärliga arbetsprocess betyder att skapa teoretisk medvetenhet om processen och att använda sig av olika färdigheter, metoder och samarbetsförmågor. Utifrån frågeställningen ? Hur kan metoder för reflektion utvecklas i bildundervisningen för att medvetandegöra och få kunskap om den konstnärliga arbetsprocessen?? har en workshop genomförts på en gymnasieskola i Stockholm.Undersökningen presenterar och prövar olika metoder för reflektion (det reflekterande och associativa skrivandet) och en undervisningsideologi Problem baserat lärande, (PBL) vilket baseras på både individuellt och gruppbaserat arbete.Min empiri består av elevintervjuer, egen dokumentation med observationer av workshopen, fotografier, samt elevarbeten.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the information needs of gay, lesbian and bisexual adolescents? when they are coming out. I also examine what kind of information they seek and where they might find this information. The purpose is also to examine what role the public or school library plays. The study is conducted through qualitative interviews with gay, lesbian and bisexual adolescents?.

The aim of this Masters thesis is, partly, to examine the information needs of lesbians: what discernable information needs they have, how they seek information and which information sources they use. The purpose is also to examine what part fiction plays regarding the information needs mentioned above and how fiction indexing could improve retrieval. The study is conducted through ten qualitative interviews with lesbians as well as through textual analysis. The theoretical framework includes queer theory and theory concerning information needs and uses. The results indicate that lesbians have evident information needs that mostly concern identity.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the flow of information in an administration of the municipality Borås Stad. To achieve the aim the following questions were asked: How accessible is information? How is information used in the organisation? How is information communicated? Totally sixteen qualitative interviews was accomplished with employees at the administration. The results of the interviews show that there is a difference in how much and what sort of information the respondents use. They all seem to prefer information to be communicated face to face if possible or over the phone.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to investigate how trained social workers experience information in their daily work. The thesis focussed on three major questions: - What type of information and information sources are mostly used by the trained social workers? - What kind of information barriers are described by the participants? - How can the patterns of information seeking and information use be understood on the basis of the trained social workers professional and social context? Semi-structured interviews were carried out with trained social workers working with child welfare enquiries. My theoretical framework consists of user and context oriented theories about classifications of information, information barriers and models of information sources. My conclusions are that trained social workers working with risk assessment in child protection services, need to use different kinds of information in their daily work, such as problem information, domain information and problem-solving information.

Ofta utgår jag från naturvetenska- pens bildmaterial och insprieras av dess metodiska och till synes sakliga sätt att beskriva och redogöra för hur verkligheten tycks hänga samman. A home for elderly is planed to be built at Zakrisdal, Karlstad, Sweden. The heat source for the building was at the time not determined. In order by the local government of Karlstad this report is meant to examine if the need of heat could be provided only by solar heat combined with a seasonal heat storage. The problem to solve is, if the need of heat from the home for elderly is provided from only solar heat, whitch dimensions of the solar collectors and the storage is needed?.

The purpose of this Master thesis is to examine theinformation use and information seeking behaviour amongpersons who actively work with information. For this study,interviews have been conducted with a group of six personswho work with information in information intensiveorganizations. The aim is to answer the following questions:What kind of information is connected to the respondents?work tasks? What is the purpose of their search forinformation? Which information sources do they use and whatkind of information sources do they demand? The theoreticalframework consists mainly of Wilsons information needs andinformation seeking model.The results of this study show that none of the respondentshad any strategic model for their work with information. Theinformation that the respondents were searching for is ofdifferent content and depends on the organization in which therespondent operates.

Det finns forskning som hävdar att undervisningen bör grunda sig på den enskilde elevens personliga inlärningsstil och den härstammar främst från USA. En del svenska forskare försöker också lansera denna undervisningsform i den svenska skolan. Den här undersökningen grundar sig därför på om ovanstående forskning från USA används av svensklärare i Sverige. Enligt Boström och Wallenberg (1997) inriktar sig den traditionella skolan huvudsakligen sin undervisning genom visuell och auditiv inlärning (inlärning via syn och hörsel). Enligt Lpo 94 skall undervisningen anpassas till den enskilde elevens behov och förutsättningar (Lärarnas Riksförbund, 2005).

The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create a product in the form of a database that can be used for cost estimates of equipment within bio refineries. Through interviews and literature searches the key components and their costs were identified. The database was constructed in Microsoft Excel with different tabs for different categories of components; these tabs are further divided into three parts: one part with costs, one part with calculations and an information part. Most of the part with costs contains the expenses found in scientific papers during the literature study, the calculating part converts different capacities according to user preferences and the currency to euro (?) from 2010 and the information part consists of references and information about what is included in the cost.The database is a good tool for making cost estimates for bio refineries.

SammanfattningDetta examensarbete har som mål att analysera ett antal verktyg som kan användas för att underlätta en kunds förståelse för ett Javaprograms funktionalitet genom tydliga beteende-specifikationer och visuell bekräftelse av beteendet.Detta görs för att underlätta företagets process att dels ta fram önskat beteende tillsammans med kunden och dels för att kunna visa upp att beteendekraven följs.Verktygen analyseras utifrån olika krav som jag tagit fram tillsammans med företaget, såsom lättförståelighet, prestanda, tydlighet i dess grafiska presentation och hur lätt det är att underhålla..

BakgrundSväljsvårigheter är vanligt förekommande vid Parkinsons sjukdom och kan i sin mest avancerade form orsaka lunginflammation som påverkar såväl sjukligheten som dödligheten. Kunskapen är bristande gällande hur sväljfunktionen förändras över tid hos personer med Parkinsons sjukdom, endast ett fåtal studier finns inom området. SyfteSyftet med studien var att undersöka den faryngeala sväljfunktionen under 1 års tid hos personer med Parkinsons sjukdom. Vi hade för avsikt att med hjälp av fiberendoskopisk sväljundersökning bedöma sväljparametrarna penetration/aspiration, residual och sekret. Deltagarnas subjektiva upplevelse av sväljfunktionen bedömdes utifrån självskattning med hjälp av en visuell analog skala.
