The purpose of this study is to examine how the work with young people at home to care and accommodation (HVB) are organized in a municipality outside Karlstad and how the staff perceive emotions in the workplace. The issues that are discussed are based on the concepts of social ties, emotional labor, roles, shame and pride. The number of people who are fleeing in the world is today about 51 million. There has not been this high since World War II. The Swedish Migration Board calculated that about 7,000 of these people were unaccompanied children and came to Sweden in 2014.

Much attention has been directed to Charity Foundations and how they use the donations given to them. Donators and external organisations put pressure on and evaluate the performance of Charity Foundations. The purpose of this thesis is to increase the understanding of how Charity Foundations handle the pressure from external parties through a qualitative case study of one Swedish Charity Foundation. The most important external factors have been identified and the accountability relationships between each party and the Charity Foundation have been examined. The empirical material was collected through semi-structured interviews and from written sources.

This thesis analyses how friendship between children is described in four Swedish childrens books, published in 1995-2001 and recommended in Barnbokstipset, which is used in libraries for recommending books. Today there are many childrens books that describe various aspects of childrens everyday lives and these books can have an influence on the children who read them. But I found that there has not been much research about how friendship is described in childrens books, although much has been written about the importance of social relationships with peers for childrens lives and development. I analyze the books one by one with the help of a number of questions and categories that I have constructed beforehand. In the analysis I apply Zick Rubins theory of two different stages in childrens understanding of friendship and William Corsaros theory of interactive space which deals with who is allowed to join in games and friendships and who is not allowed to do so and how this is played out.

En viktig del av sjuksköterskans ansvarsområde är omvårdnad av människor som befinner sig i sorg. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att beskriva personers upplevelse av sorg när en make eller maka dött efter en tids sjukdom. Med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats analyserades 10 artiklar. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: Att uppleva svårigheter med att förstå förlusten: Att känna sig ensam och att livet har förändrats: Att ge-nom minnen ha kontakt med sin döde partner: Att känna stöd från närståen-de och att ha en framtidstro. Upplevelsen av sorg kan vara outhärdlig efter förlusten av en partner och känslor som chock och förlamning drabbar den sörjande.

The purpose of this essay is to explore the social services work with crime victims in Sweden, according to Chapter 5, § 11 of the Social Services Act. The study examined how social workers define the victim and assessing and prioritizing victims' needs. It has also been central to study how social workers interpret and understand the regulation of social services responsible for crime victims.Qualitative interviews with 18 social workers is the basis for the study. The analysis of the social services work with victims based in the above-mentioned interviews. The interviews analyzed using the sociology of law theory.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur männen förklarar sitt användande av våld mot sin partner. Dessutom vill vi undersöka om männens identitet, gällande våldsbenägenhet, har förändrats sedan de påbörjade samtal hos Verksamhet X och i så fall på vilket sätt. Samt hur männen upplever att de har blivit bemötta av samhället.Våra frågeställningar är; ? Hur förklarar männen sitt våld gentemot sin partner?? Har identiteten och synen på det egna användandet av våld hos männen förändrats sedan de påbörjade samtal hos verksamheten X, och i så fall på vilket sätt? ? Hur upplever sig männen ha blivit bemötta av samhället? För att bäst belysa vår studies syfte och besvara våra frågeställningar valde vi en kvalitativ ansats. Vi utförde fyra intervjuer där vi utgick ifrån en intervjuguide som var utformad efter fyra olika teman; bakgrund, individen, relationen och samhället.

Studien har genomförts med en kvalitativ metod och består av sju intervjuer med personer med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur personer med intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar på ett särskilt boende upplevde sina möjligheter till att uttrycka sin sexualitet utifrån de regler och förhållningsätt hos personalen som råder där och hur de agerade utifrån det handlingsutrymmet. I studien använde vi oss av Layders teori om sociala domäner för att bättre kunna förstå forskningsområdets komplexitet.Huvudresultaten i studien visade att det fanns begränsade möjligheter att uttrycka sin sexualitet. De svårigheterna som visade sig bestod i att få ha sin partner övernattandes eller vara samboende. För att få igenom att ha sin partner övernattandes krävdes att man själv utkrävde ökat handlingsutrymme.

This graduation paper is based on my interest for wood and its different tonal quality?s.After some time of thinking I decided to write my paper on the tonal difference between two of the most common woods in guitars, East Indian Rosewood and European Maple. I had built two identical guitars before my graduation paper in which the difference was the wood the back and sides were made of. One was being made of East Indian Rosewood and the other being made of European Maple.I chose to speak with a number of people with different angle of approach to the two kinds of wood and its tonal difference and quality?s.

The aim of the thesis is to identify and investigate central themes in two video artworks, Poliisi and Pink Ball, by Swedish artist Annika Larsson. Moreover it is an investigation of the configurations of violence, and an enquiring whether these works have a social-minded intention.Elements in scenery, framing and narration are analysed with the term ?crystalline regime? (régim cristallin), described by French philosopher Gilles Deleuze, which defines the artificial as opposed to the purely representational. Processes within the narrations of the two works are analysed as rituals, which leads to an investigation of an internal sign-system and to the question whether the rituals in these works have a function. Theory by French philosopher Georges Bataille is used to analyse the ritual with no external purpose, which aims at an intense experience of life.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka i vilken omfattning ungdomar har erfarenheter av att utsättas för våld från sina föräldrar. Studien syftar också till att undersöka ungdomarnas erfarenheter av kontrollerande beteende och våld i nuvarande och tidigare relationer, samt ungdomarnas attityder till mäns våld mot kvinnor. I syftet har följande frågeställningar varit centrala:? Vilka erfarenheter har ungdomar av våld från föräldrarna?? Vilka erfarenheter har ungdomar av våld i nuvarande och tidigare relationer?? Vilka erfarenheter har ungdomar av kontrollerande beteende i nuvarande och tidigare relationer?? Finns det skillnader i pojkars och flickors attityder gällande mäns våld mot kvinnor?För att bäst besvara vårt syfte föll valet av metod på att genomföra en enkätundersökning bland ungdomar på en gymnasieskola, 60 elever i årskurs tre besvarade enkäten. Av resultatet framgår att en fjärdedel av ungdomar har utsatts för våld av sin pappa och mer än en tredjedel av ungdomarna har utsatts för våld någon gång under uppväxten av någon av föräldrarna.

This paper describes a case study of the largest film production ever conducted in Scandinavia. The study aims at explaining the complex relationships in the network structure in which the project took place. Coordination of creative projects carried out in a network context, includes handling conflicting interest and contradictions. Creativity needs space and freedom while projects need structure and coordination, whereby controlling these projects becomes complex. Adding to the complexity, does the loose form of organization that the network structure represents, without any long term structure.

The purpose of this paper was to understand internal communication?s critical tradition by studying the interface of the subjective experience and the objective behavior within a management team. During almost two years this group was observed, several semi-structured interviews were conducted and a specific incident was analyzed. The interview texts where analyzed, using the Meaning Constitution Analysis developed by Roger Sages (2010) at Lund University. The observations were summarized in sociograms showing relationships in the organization.

In this study we examine trade patterns between Turkey and 13 member states of the European Union and how these have developed over the time period of 1983 ? 2006. To represent the industrial and agricultural goods included in the study we look at the United Nations Standard International Trade Classification (SITC). Following, we investigate internal differences in the EU by selecting four countries each to represent the Northern and Southern countries of the EU. Internal differences were studied in relation to the amount of trade occurring between Turkey and the Northern and Southern countries.

Idenna studie har vi undersökt hur massmedier presenterat våldshandlingar övertid. Det som vi undersökt är om det finns urskiljbara faser i massmedialapresentationer av våldshandlingar. Vi har utgått från fallet Breivik och Norgeattentatet2011, som vi menar är ett mediebelyst fall som kan kasta ljus över andravåldshandlingar. Vi har använt oss av Grundad Teori som kvalitativ metod och analyseratsammanlagt 80 stycken tidningsartiklar hämtade från Aftonbladet, Expressen,Dagens Nyheter och Svenska Dagbladet. Resultatet visar att det finns urskiljbarafaser och dessa faser har vi benämnt som:Det ofattbara, Kollektiv bearbetningfrån det ofattbara, Det ofattbarapolitiseras och Det ofattbara blir enreferens.

This study's interest area loops around how it is possible to understand texts' leverage over human thinking and acting. Focus lies on understanding which forces that form people?s views around men and women's relationships and relations in the public room. From this perspective our interest is to explore how the phenomenon rape is expressed in texts and how we can understand how rape through these texts are to be shaped in individuals' thoughts awareness and. Finally, it is also relevant to create understanding for how rape as a discoursive practice can have effects on individuals and society.
