Det har visat sig att när en person motoriskt får utföra en handlingsmening (t ex ?kasta en boll?) blir minnet för den specifika meningen (subject-performed task, SPT) bättre än om personen bara kodar in meningen verbalt, t ex genom att säga meningen högt (verbal task, VT). Detta fenomen har kommit att kallas för enactmenteffekten. När orsakerna till enactmenteffekten har studerats har det tagits lite hänsyn till karakteristikan av handlingsmeningarna. Studien syftar till att undersöka betydelsen av graden av motorisk aktivitet i handlingsmeningarna som en potentiell förklaringsfaktor till enactmenteffekten.

Hjärtsvikt är ett tillstånd som ökar i dagens samhälle. Tillståndet påverkar många funktioner i det dagliga livet som främst beror på symtom och olika behov som gör vardagen svår för individen. Syftet var att beskriva individens upplevelse av att leva med hjärtsvikt. Metoden som användes var en litteraturöversikt med en kvalitativ ansats, med sammanlagt 12 artiklar. Analysen resulterade i huvudtematEn oförutsägbar och sviktande kropp med de tillhörande temana En ny livssituaion, Att uppleva trygghet, Att behöva anpassa sig till det nya tillståndet samt Att finna mening med livet.

This essay deals with how the development of society, the media society in particular, has an impact on the teaching of the subject of art. In the society of today, we are bombarded with more images than ever before. As an effect of this, the curriculum of 2011 emphasises the importance of the ability to orientate oneself in the modern society. Furthermore, it describes art not only as a practical subject, but also as a verbal and community-orientated subject. Because of sparse and dated research, the subject of art is in danger of marginalization as a school subject. The purpose of this study is to illustrate art teachers? conception of the aim of the subject of art.

Results from previous studies have shown that people with depression tend to have impaired executive functions, although it's not clear whether this is also true for mild depression in young people. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mild depressive symptoms and executive functions in young individuals. 60 participants, between 18-33 years of age, took part in this study. They were divided into two groups; a "depressed group" (n = 8), with mildly depressed subjects, and a "none-depressed group" (n = 52). The depressed group was significantly impaired on several executive tests, namely TMT A (p = 0,025), TMT B (p = 0,040), FAS (p = 0,002), WAIS-R Digit Span Backwards (p = 0,047) and CWTa - subtest colour naming (p = 0,001), which evaluated abilities such as shifting, verbal fluency, working memory, attention and mental flexibility.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur gymnasieelever tänker kring konfliktsituationer som uppkommer i klassrummet och hur de vill att läraren ska hantera dem. Studien bygger på två utformade scenarion som sexton stycken gymnasieelever i södra Halland diskuterat vid tre olika fokusgruppintervjuer. Scenarierna behandlar två olika situationer dels en fysisk konflikt mellan två elever och dels en verbal konflikt mellan lärare och elev. Resultatet visar att det råder delade meningar kring hur eleverna önskar att lärare ska hantera de två givna konfliktsituationerna, exempelvis gällande när vi ska ingripa samt vilka strategier som kan användas. Vidare visar resultatet att eleverna föredrar att lärare är tydligare med vad som är acceptabelt respektive oacceptabelt beteende i klassrummet.

In this report, a case study of conditions for Swedish language development in children of immigrant origin is presented, and its results explored. The boundaries of the case study are defined as preschool pedagogues? facilitation of Swedish language development through co-learning, in children of immigrant origin in an ethnically segregated urban area. Concepts central to the report include dialogue, second language learning and perspectives on language difficulties. For the theoretical background of the report, a basic sociocultural theorem is used, which links language as well as other areas of development to verbal interaction in a social context.

Attempts made within planning and landscape architecture to catalyst the integration process have mainly been focused on structural measures, such as residential policies. As for outdoor environments, non-verbal casual encounters in the shape of crossing paths are assumed to lie at the heart of urban social integration.The aim of the thesis is to question this assumption and, as the thesis will show, there is literature supporting this aim. Looking at the works of Gordon Allport, Lewis Coser and some of their followers, I find intercultural contact to require more complex ways of interaction in order to reduce prejudice and to generate tolerance and understanding.

En intensiv miljö flertalet unga vuxna kommer i kontakt med för första gången är krogen. Positiv attityd till riskfyllda beteenden där kan i förlängningen resultera i negativa hälsoeffekter. Syftet med denna enkätstudie var i huvudsak att undersöka unga vuxnas attityd till Verbal aggression, Rekreationellt berusningsdrickande, Riskfyllt sex, Fysisk aggression, Ekonomiskt riskfylld modekonsumtion, Ekonomiskt riskfylld festkonsumtion, Rekreationellt drogbruk och Riskfyllt spelande om pengar.

Bakgrund: Beröring är livsviktigt genom hela livet. Människor mellan 66 och 100 år är de som får minst beröring. Beröring är en form av icke verbal kommunikation som kan förmedla kontakt och inge trygghet. Då äldre personer ofta får nedsatt kommunikationsförmåga blir den icke nödvändiga beröringen, det vill säga beröring som inte relaterat till omvårdnadsuppgifter, ett naturligt kommunikationsmedel. Syftet: Belysa icke nödvändig beröring i omvårdnaden av äldre personer.

Denna studie belyser vårdares bemötande av personer med demenssjukdom. Studiens metod är en allmänlitteraturstudie där 10 artiklar valts ut som grund för analys. I resultatet framkom tre grundläggande faktorer för ett gott bemötande inom demensomsorgen. Dessa faktorer är; en god människosyn, en etablerad kommunikation mellan vårdare och patient samt att respektera patientens integritet och lyfta dennes autonomi. Studien visar att det råder en allmän konsensus om att ett individbaserat bemötande bör ges till patienter med demenssjukdom men att den inte alltid kommer naturligt i den kliniska omvårdnadssituationen.

Given the possibility that the world, as we know it, is a consequence of human interaction and verbal communication our understanding of the world can be seen as contingent rather than essentially given. Conceptions such as "entrepreneur", "woman" and "man" can then be understood as socially constructed subjects. Departing from poststructural and social constructionist perspectives I will examine medial representation of women and men as entrepreneurs. My main purpose is to examine how the entrepreneur is constructed as a discursive subject in the journal Eget Företag. Drawing upon Ernesto Laclau´s and Chantal Mouffe´s Discourse Theory and the poststructuralist feminist theoretical perspective of Judith Butler I will discuss both the construction of the entrepreneur as well as the more explicit question; is gender significant for the construction of the entrepreneur and entrepreneurship in Eget Företag? In this study I come to the conclusion that the discourse of entrepreneurship, as well as the journalistic discourse, draws upon discourses of femininity and masculinity but also upon discourses of ethnicity.

My essay begins with a story in which I portray different communicative situations at the preschool unit Myran. The children in my story are at an early stage of development and they all suffer from multiple disabilities which inhibit their ways of communicating. Through my story, I describe how I perceive different communication dilemmas in my work place. A difficulty I cover in my essay is how the educator knows if he or she has interpreted a child correctly when it does not have a verbal communication and therefore is completely dependent on the educators? interpretations of its communication efforts.

AbstractThis study examines the use of dance in the special education classes in high school. The purpose is to study the teachers? thoughts about dance within this school form. I want to see if they see any gains from having dance as a subject, and what might these be? Earlier research states that dance has a positive influence on mentally handicapped children and young people, and that it strengthens their general development.
