Bakgrund: Övervikt och fetma är en global epidemi. Fetma kan orsakas av arv, miljö och beteendemässiga faktorer. Övervikt kanleda till flera följdsjukdomar. Viktminskning kan ge ökad livskvalité pch psykiskt välbefinnande. Ur ett hälsoekonomiskt perspektiv är det av vikt att det hälsofrämjande arbetet startar tidigt i barndomen.

This thesis has the purpose that through a text analysis examine how four schoolbooks for high school treats the religions Judaism and Hinduism. The schoolbooks are from the years 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2009. The perspectives are from a religious viewing point, that means that the women are religious, Jewish feminists and Hindu feminists. The theories used are written by these women and are academic litterature.  The questions are how are women represented in the schoolbooks, is the feminist critique present or are the two religions represented and described in an invariable way, and is the description of Judaism and Hinduism consistent with the curriculum?The text analysis used in this examination means that reality is organized through and by the language used by the actors in that reality.

Mitt examensarbete handlar om hur man kan experimentera med mönster genom olika tyger och sedan klä möbler med det. Jag har arbetat med randiga tyger -bolstervar- där jag klippt i tyget och sytt ihop det så att ränderna har fått mötas på andra sätt än dom ursprungligen gjorde i vävstolen. På så sätt har jag byggt upp mina mönster av randiga tyger och sedan klätt in möbler i dessa tyger.I min undersökande del har jag studerat 5 tekniker att klä in och drapera möbler på, alltifrån hur man kan täcka något med en harts till hur man kan jobba med lapptäcken.Utifrån dessa undersökningar gjorde jag egna experiment ochmodeller som jag sedan utvärderade.Den teknik och det uttryck som jag till slut valde att arbeta med, vilket var lapptäckesteknik, kom att bygga vidare på ett koncept som jag arbetat med under min utbytestermin i Mexiko.I och med detta examensarbete tog jag det mexikanska projektet till svensk mark och arbetade med svenska Uttryck i textilen.Jag har tillverkat två stycken stolar/fåtöljer och ett skåp..

Mitt masterprojekt i utbildningen Musikalisk Design var att komponera musik till fem stycken dokumenta?rfilmer gjorda av avga?ngseleverna pa? StDH (Stockholms Dramatiska Ho?gskola). Filmerna var alltsa? a?ven deras examensprojekt. Tva? av filmerna komponerade jag musik till sja?lv och till de resterande tre filmerna komponerade jag musiken tillsammans med min klasskompis Eirik Røland.

The purpose of this thesis has been about processing an already existing folder for a tax funded organization which is also the employer for this mission ? Expectrum. The reason is that both Expectrum themselves and the recievers of the folder are unhappy with the existing material. The critic that has been directed to Expectrum is that the recievers have trouble understanding what Expectrum is and what they do. Based on qualitative methods such as interviews and text analysis I?ve been able to answer my questions for this thesis.

The way we socialize today is radically different from how it was only twenty years ago. The purpose of this paper is to compare the content and political message in the election posters of the political parties Sverigedemokraterna and Feministiskt Initiativ. This is achieved through a qualitative content analysis combined with text and rhetorical analysis as well as semiotics. Out of all the election posters from Sverigedemokraterna and Feministiskt Initiativ with national spread, eight were analyzed. The conclusions of this analysis are that both political parties prefer posters with high text content with the main purpose of gathering votes, and that persons were used as motives with the objective to present the party representatives and strengthen their perceived ethos..

Men commit more suicide than women all over the world. They commit more violent crimes and are more inclined to alcohol abuse. There are studies that relate this behaviour to the hegemonic image of masculinity.My work focuses on Switzerland. The suicide rate in Switzerland is worrying, for men between 15 and 44 years suicide is the most common cause of death. There is no national suicide prevention and no information or prevention that highlights the connection bet- ween the hegemonic image of masculinity and the suicide rates.

Denna studie undersöker begreppet elevnära som används i Kursplan för Svenska från år 2008. Kvalitativa intervjuer har gjorts med fem yrkesverksamma lärare för att ta reda på deras tolkningar. Skolverkets förklaring av begreppet utforskas även.Intervjuernas resultat analyseras enligt en fenomenografisk ansats och lärarnas åsikter har placerats in i ett antal beskrivningskategorier. Analyserna av resultaten visar att både de intervjuade lärarna och Skolverket ser till flera olika aspekter av vad elevnära innebär, men Skolverket har dock en bredare syn.Alla de intervjuade lärarna har olika definitioner, vilket visar att det är problematiskt att i ett styrdokument använda ett begrepp där tolkningsfriheten kan vara stor. I och med att kursplanerna är målstyrda är det viktigt att dessa mål är tydliga så att lärarna kan förstå dem.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur förhållandet mellan genus och sexualitet uttrycks i romantiska kärleksfilmer. Ur filmen 500 days of Summer har jag valt att analysera vissa scener där uttryck för en binär genusuppdelning och en normativ sexualitet förekommer, främst skildrat genom romantiska föreställningar om heterosexuell kärlek. Samtidigt har jag också funnit och valt material från filmen som visar på nästintill motsatsen till heteronormativitet och som kan ge förhoppningar om nya ideal inom den romantiska kärleksfilmen. 500 days of Summer är en väldigt ambivalent film, parallellt problematisk och nyskapande då den sitt bruk av filmgrepp både befäster men också bereder väg för nya tolkningar av genus och sexualitet. Följande uppsats är en undersökning i hur iscensättning av normativa ideal fungerar och tar sig uttryck i filmmediet och vilka begränsningar samt möjligheter detta erbjuder.  .

Due to political decisions regarding the Swedish school, public and independent schools booth face the need topromote themselves in the quest for new pupils. This study aims to, from a communications perspective, examine how four selected upper secondary schools address their target audience; the pupils?to?be, on their homepages. Additionally, I intend to investigate whether, and if so, how, said addressing can be connected to the different target groups applying to the schools in question.The questions asked in this study regard the way in which the selected schools describe themselves on their homepage; how do they use the textual and visual content to address their audience, and can there be disagreement between the meaning of the text and that of the image? To answer these questions, I use a theoretical base made out of visual communication and semiotic as well as rhetorical analyses.The methodological procedure is a qualitative approach on the matter, allowing me to understand the ?what? of the content on the homepages, as well as the ?how? it?s being communicated.

Today the common people begin to understand the impact of a package. Many choose brand or product with great emphasis on how the outside looks, both in a good and a bad way.The company Gotlands Grafiska gave me the task to create a small basic selection of packages. The target group that the project was based on was craftsmen in the Gotland region. Based on analysis of the market and consumers to develop a range of packages covering a wide range of products sold on the island.During the project a clear theme was the desire to highlight a product and create some sort of exclusivity. It was important to understand how consumers and businesses think about packaging and its function.The result was five different packages, which together cover much of the need for the Gotland crafts and souvenir market.

Forskning kring omvårdnad av patienter med stickrädsla är i det närmaste obefintlig. Syftet med denna studie var därför att undersöka sjuksköterskans erfarenheter av omvårdnad vid stickrädsla. En empirisk studie med kvalitativ ansats genomfördes. Datainsamlingen skedde med hjälp av nio semistrukturerade intervjuer med legitimerade sjuksköterskor. Analysmetoden som användes inspirerades av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

The object of this thesis is to discuss the limits of the hypertext concept. The issue is whether the concept of hypertext necessarily depends on the conditions of the electronic media and www, or if the concept of hypertext more likely is founded on certain textual structures and strategies. In the light of contributions to hypertext theory during the 1990s, this thesis compares different views on hypertext, and concludes with an evaluation. The poem it the authors own translation of the original Danish title det, written in 1969 by the system-poet Inger Christensen, is the object of this case study. The poem is analysed with respect to its structural organisation and literary composition.
