The aim is to find out if there is any difference in how the government and communicators talked, and if those differences agree with the public opinion about these persons.Material/Method: The material is interviews with the relevant people on TV news. The first three days are included and the interviews have been transcribed and counted in sentences. The method is therefore quantitative content analysis.Main results: All of the analysed persons used the category Concrete action the most, which is what they are doing at the moment.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka högstadieelevers uppfattningar, på en specifik skola, om bakgrundsmusik på lektioner i idrott och hälsa. Vi ville även se om valet av musik har någon betydelse för elevernas inställning och motivation. Slutligen undersökte vi hur lärarna använder sig den musikanläggning som fanns i idrottssalen. Vi har använt oss av en kvantitativ undersökningsmetod med enkäter, som delades ut till samtliga elever i årskurs nio på en skola i Uppsala. Med enkäterna fick vi fram deras uppfattningar om hur bakgrundsmusik kan påverka under en lektion i idrott och hälsa.

De är unga eller gamla, funktionsnedsatta och utrikes födda och de får inte en krona från staten. Mer än var tionde inskriven i Fas 3 saknar ersättning. Samtidigt fårderas arbetsgivare 5000 kr i månaden och gratis arbetskraft.Fas 3, sysselsättningsfasen är Sveriges största arbetsgivare med över 35,000 inskrivna. En majoritet av deltagarna får en ersättning från försäkringskassan men gruppen ersättningslösa växer. Riksdagen beslutade juni 2011 att inskrivningarna i Fas 3 skulle upphöra omedelbart.

Uppsatsen är en studie av Funktionell Familjeterapi (FFT). Syftet var att undersöka om en FFT-behandling innebar en förändring för en ungdom och dennes föräldrar avseende deras beskrivning av familjeklimatet och dyaderna inom familjen. Målgruppen utgjordes av 29 familjer som under åren 2011-2013 avslutat en FFT-behandling på Ungdomscentrum, Uppsala kommun. Familjerna hade fyllt i självskattningsformulären Frågor om Familjemedlemmar och Familjeklimat före och efter behandlingen. Resultatet visade ett flertal statistiskt signifikanta skillnader vilket stämde överens med tidigare forskning av modellen, både internationellt och nationellt.

To exemplify the last-mentioned I have studied the voices of the three singers Jenny Lind,  Christina Nilsson and Signe Hebbe (there are no recordings of any of them).The essay contains two major parts. In the first I describe the technique of the Garcia- and Lamperti-schools and their views on registers, vibrato and messa di voce, ending with a summarizing analysis of the 19th century vocal ideals.

This thesis was conducted at SverigeGrepen in Vänge-Körlinge, Uppsala, Sweden.SverigeGrepen is a family business that develops and manufactures a few different parts of different kinds of products. My task is to come up with a good idea that facilitates the coupling of trailers, i.e. from an idea to a fully functioning prototype. The product is intended for use by all customers for all kinds of trailers. The actual goal of the work is to develop a full prototype that you can install and use in the easiest way possible, a prototype that follows the specifications.

I denna studie har insamling av referensdata över språkförståelse hos treåringar med typisk språkutveckling genomförts. Till detta har bedömningsmaterialet Sofialådan (Westerlund & Öfverholm-Engström, 1995) använts. Sofialådan bygger som flera andra språkförståelsematerial på den s.k. act-outmetoden där man låter barnet agera med föremål efter en given instruktion. Med hjälp av föremålen i Sofialådan bedöms barnets förmåga att identifiera grundfärger och storleksbegrepp, kategorisera, flytta föremålenligt olika prepositionsanvisningar samt att följa flerledade instruktioner.

Skolan är ett ständigt debatterat ämne där många har åsikter om dessutformning så väl som syfte. I olika mätningar redovisas det om skolans förfall och hur Svenskaskolan har svårt att mäta sig med jämbördiga nationer runt om i världen. Rollen som lärare harkommit att omprövas där den idag innefattar en allt större administrativ börda som aldrig tycksavta. En ökad arbetsbörda tenderar ofta att leda till stress och försämrad motivation såväl somarbetstillfredsställelse. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vad det är som motiverar ochdriver personalen samt vilka faktorer som bidrar till arbetstillfredsställelse.

Syfte: Att undersöka mammors behov av kunskapsmässigt, emotionellt och socialt stöd under barnets första år samt identifiera vilka stödgivande aktörer kvinnorna upplever är viktigast.Metod: Deskriptiv tvärsnittstudie. Sjuttio mammor som besökte någon av sex kommunala öppna förskolor i Uppsala läns landsting svarade på en enkät om deras behov av stöd.Resultat: Hälso- och sjukvården var den viktigaste aktören för många av mammorna som sökte informationsstöd. Studien visade att alla mammorna inte fått det kunskapsstöd de önskade. Socialt stöd och emotionellt stöd var viktigt för nästan alla mammor och många efterfrågade emotionellt stöd från hälso- och sjukvården. Mammornas behov var relaterat till deras ålder, och även i viss utsträckning utbildning och sysselsättning.Slutsats: Om BVC-sjuksköterskor och annan vårdpersonal som möter mammor med barn under ett år, ser till helheten i deras situation genom att erbjuda såväl kunskapsstöd som emotionellt stöd kan de bidra till att skapa långsiktigt nöjda och trygga mödrar..

For several years Uppsala University together with several companies has been involved in a WISENET project aimed at improving railway transport security. By placing a sensor system near the wheels of each wagon, the temperature of the bearings can be measured and transmitted to a collector placed centrally on the wagon. This in turn transmits the collected data to RFID receivers placed intermittently along the railway.As the signals are transmitted wirelessly, problems may occur as the antennas get dirty or coated with ice and snow. To determine the effects of these coatings, several tests were performed examining the reflection coefficient S11, the impedance Z11 and the efficiency eta of an antenna, and how they varied when various coatings were placed over the antenna. Examined coatings were ice, snow and water to determine the effects of weather, and various metal-based coatings: powdered iron both pure and partially oxidized, and iron ore granules.
