This paper aims to find out how media in different countries in the same part of a continent portray the latest development in the Korean conflict. To achieve this, the articles published by two newspapers, The Japan Times and The Korea Times, in the last five months have been analysed. The theory used to analyse the published articles is the agenda setting theory. In this Bachelor Thesis (20 p.), we present the history and development of "Intelligent Houses", and most important- explore some of the future possibilities in this area. The project has been carried out through an interdisciplinary cooperation between three different educations at the Blekinge Institute of Technology. By conducting a dialogue with various actors with different professions, we have been trying to identify needs within the concept of "Intelligent Houses", were the end user is not only the tenant or homeowner. Through Participatory Design methods, such as a Future Workshop, we have brought the users together to discuss their own and each others needs and hindrances in their respective work practice, and how intelligent house technology could improve their work conditions. We have also been testing a highly sophisticated CO/CO2/Moisture/Temperature/Enthalpy multi-sensor & controller, originally developed for regulating indoor climate systems. Resultaten av vår undersökning visar på att vi generellt sett inte kan säga om individuella investerare agerar enligt regret theory eller inte. En del resultat tyder dock på att vissa effekter inom teorin är applicerbar på individuella investerare. Vi kan urskilja trender som tyder på att individen beter sig på ett visst sett och resonerat kring varför han beter sig så. Individen föredrar alltid det säkra alternativet om förluster eller stora vinster står på spel. Om skillnaden i säkerhet är väldigt liten försummar han den.

After W.W. II the Social democratic government wanted to modernize and rationalize the Swedish society. The university system was reformed[INS: :INS] to support growth of industry and science. But the reform did not reach Swedish academic library system and it was not well organized. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the reaction of the Swedish academic libraries to the new era in the framework of ideological criticism.

After the 9/11 attack the United States declared war against terrorism, which launched a conflict between indefinable transnational networks and states. In this war it became clear that the strategies used in traditional wars between states were not sufficient. New strategies have been discussed, but without any concrete results.In this thesis assassinations of terrorist leaders ordered by states is being presented as a possible strategy in the war against terrorism. Assassinations have been used in all times to shift political power but is today not morally accepted. This thesis aims to show that when used under the premisses of the just war theory, the strategy can be equally morally justified as any traditional war.

Development of services that?s provided through mobile application technology in today's modern IT society has become a full-fledged market where numerous players trying to make themselves heard in everything from innovative new services to the further development of existing services. In these services actors wants to find new areas of use by taking advantage of the mobile technology.We have investigated how value is created and how the value is captured in the services provided through mobile applications. Through this, we wanted to identify the critical success factors in how a newly developed service should be designed to create value. This has been done through a thorough literature review, together with an indepth evaluation of existing applications.

I detta arbete har en undersökning genomförts angående hur spårbarhet upprätthålls vid användning av användarfall. Rapporten behandlar spårbarhet och användarfall separat för att belysa viktiga fakta inom båda områdena. Syftet med arbetet var att ta reda på hur olika tillvägagångssätt för att representera användarfall upprätthöll spårbarhet mellan olika krav, och mellan krav och dess ursprung. Informationen inom problemområdet samlades in genom en litteraturstudie. I undersökningen identifierades flera olika typer av spårbarhet, vilka sedan låg till underlag för identifiering av spårbarhet i användarfall.

Projects of all kinds generate documentation that needs to be organized and stored for future use. Well adapted tools, together with a unified modus operandi need to be available for both the project members and those having a more organizing role if an organization is to be effective.A study of the tools available to project members at Svenska Kraftnät have been performed along with an analysis of the guidelines for the tools' usage. The study has focused on the needs of the project members, not the organization as a whole, thus providing a bottom-up approach to the problem instead of the more organizational top-down approach. Interviews of around 20 project members, whose roles include project leaders, technical experts and documentation supervisors, have been conducted to get an idea of the practical problems that exists.All systems, except for a local network storage device, were found to at least meet Svenska Kraftnät's current demands. The usage guidelines, however, covers only the general process that a project should follow and lacks detailed information on a per system level in several areas.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka om Adaptive Leadership Theory kunde användas för att få en förståelse för varför kommunikationsproblem återkommer. Frågeställningen var; Kan det undersökta företagets återkommande kommunikationsproblem förklaras, utifrån Heifetz? (1994) teori, med att medarbetarna har identifierat och hanterat dem felaktigt? Data samlades in genom kvalitativa intervjuer på en svensk arbetsplats och analyserades enligt en induktiv tematisk analys.

This paper is partially a literature study of human error and interruptions and partially an investigation of pilots and Air Traffic Control. The aim of the investigation was to find out where interruptions occur and how to reduce or eliminate them. The objective of this paper was to investigate what type of interruptions pilots and ATC deals with and during which phases they occur. The paper has revealed that private pilots causes more interruptions for ATC personnel than commercial pilots. The cause for this is probably the less experienced private pilot and the fact that Swedish is used before English by private pilots in communication with ATC.

The study will analyze organizations' crisis prevention efforts, its views on the crisis of accountability in relation to stakeholders and to work for a crisis to be elucidated.
