Denna undersökning behandlar spel i kontext till lärande och matematik. Genom att gestalta ett spel undersökte vi, författare hur olika designval kunde påverka lärande. Målet var att spelare skulle lära sig genom situationsbaserat lärande och där genom få möjlighet att överföra sin kunskap till sitt vardagsliv. Undersökningen hade sin utgångspunkt i ANT (actor-network theory) som användes som metodologi för att analysera och reflektera över de val som gjordes. MDA (Mechanics Dynamics Aesthetics) användes som ett ramverk för att utveckla själva gestaltningen.

Shell companies are characterized by containing liquid assets such as cash, securities or other similar assets. Transactions of shell companies constitutes a severe problem since the purchaser often has the aim of obtaining undue tax advantages by not paying the tax debt of the company.Historically it has been complicated for the legislator to stop the set-up in an efficient way since the transactions as such are not illegal, instead rather commonly used for example to restructure companies or for the Transfer of companies to the younger generation. The purpose of the current legislation is to prevent individuals and corporations to involve in shell company trade. Aiming for an efficient legislation, the tax rate is at a very high level.The issue with the rules is that also honest buyers are at risk of being covered. This calls for high demands in complying with the principle of legal certainty and the possibility to forecast the tax consequences.The purpose of the thesis is to identify and analyze eventual problems when applying the legislation.

This thesis has been carried out within the bachelor program for mechanical engineering at Karlstad University in collaboration with BAE Systems in Karlskoga. The purpose with this work was to design a mechanism and associated parts for loading and unloading of shots between primary and secondary magazine in BAE's new 40mm's ship gun.Parts designed or redesigned among other things a Transfer mechanism for shot at loading and unloading, well as a hatch mechanism which makes the shots do not fall out of the primary magazine when making separate use. Various important details have been designed to maintain a good functionality of the mechanism.The construction work has mainly been carried out in the CAD software Solid Edge and its associated FEM module. The construction work has also been carried out on rough calculations for constructed details in order to ensure that they meet the stringent requirements of military use in tough marine environment. Two of the most critical parts of the structure where analyzed with the FEM module for estimating the stresses in the material at the applied load.The final design, which is a result of the thesis, meets the requirement specification and the set targets.

Detta examensarbete är en studie av huruvida en grundläggande laborativ fysikkurs för gymnasieelever kan vara en bra idé för att göra matematiken mindre abstrakt och mer intressant. Metoden för datainsamling baserades på kvalitativa intervjuer, litteraturstudier samt en observation av ett laborativt moment. De som intervjuades var gymnasieelever, elever från vuxenutbildningen, aktiva pedagoger och en gymnasierektor. Litteraturstudien behandlade tidigare och pågående forskning och de aktuella styrdokumenten. Resultaten från intervjuerna, observationen och litteraturstudierna sammanställdes och de visade på att praktiska moment kan stärka viljan att lära och förståelsen för teorin bakom.

Syfte: Studien syftar till att undersöka internationaliseringsprocessen hos svenska sjukvårds-och omsorgsföretag som tillhandahåller sjukvårdstjänster. Dessutom kommer studien att undersöka svårigheter, möjligheter och framtidsutsikter i samband med sjukvårds-och omsorgsföretagens internationalisering.Metod: Denna studie har genomförts genom tillämpningen av en kvalitativ metod och en deduktiv ansats. Informationen hämtad från studiens primärdata och sekundärdata har varit grunden för undersökningens analys och slutsats.Slutsats: Företagens internationaliseringsprocess har sett olika ut beroende på företagens struktur och hur de arbetar med sjukvård och omsorg vilket lett till olika val av strategi. Svårigheterna har varit i form av skillnader i lagar, regler, kultur och olika sjukvårdssystem som finns i olika länder. Den största möjligheten från en internationalisering har varit förvärv av ny kunskap och kunskapsutbytet mellan länder.

Library and information science students often ask themselves if their education will be sufficient and adapted to the work tasks they will meet with as future librarians. It is the aim of this Master thesis to investigate LIS-graduates' experiences of the Transfer from academic studies into professional life. The thesis thus treats four questions: I: What problems, if any, does the LIS-graduate experience when first employed? 2: Does the recently employed librarian feel that the academically obtained knowledge is applicable in professional life? And, if so, how does it apply? 3: Does the new employee find that there are areas in which his/her academic education has been insufficient? 4: What is the general attitude towards LIS-graduates' education among colleagues and is the library staff prepared to provide the necessary instructions? The investigation is performed through interviews with eight LIS-graduates, all of whom have recently started working as public librarians. The analysis is based on the concepts of competence, qualifications, work skills, knowledge and in the processes of formal and practical learning.

Globaliseringen har blivit något företag måste ha i åtanke när de opererar på den internationella marknaden. Detta innebär att Transnationella företag i dag är vanligt och dessa arbetar i virtuella team vilka stöter på andra problem än team som arbetar på samma fysiska plats. Denna studie undersökte vilka hinder i överföringsprocessen virtuella team ställs inför och om dessa hinder skiljer sig från de hinder som team som arbetar på samma fysiska plats ställs inför. Detta utfördes genom en fallstudie av två företag, ett i Sverige och ett i USA, som nyligen hade slagits samman till följd av ett uppköp. Företagen agerade som ett Transnationellt företag som arbetade i virtuella team på den globala marknaden.

Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att undersöka vilka förutsättningar som finns för kunskapsöverföring i ett specifikt kunskapsintensivt företag. I en organisation vars lönsamhet är beroende av att kunskap överförs, finns det hinder som beror på individens egenintressen att utöva makt inom organisationen? En analysmodell, som utarbetats efter den teoretiska referensramen, används för att avgöra hur kunskapsmakten påverkar överföringen av kunskap genom att studera förutsättningar för kunskapsöverföring. Ur modellen kan eventuella hinder för överföringen analyseras och därigenom kan resonemang föras kring om det finns en ovilja eller oförmåga att dela med sig av kunskap. En kvalitativ studie har utförts genom intervjuer med utvalda representanter från ett kunskapsintensivt företag.

Purpose: The purpose of this study has been to identify different actors and processes in music recording. We find this interesting since there have been a lot of changes in the music industry over the last years. Our ambition has been to point out different actors and their roles during the advent of recorded music, and identify different features and processes in the creation of music today and in the future. To fulfill our purpose we have had the following research question: What characterize, in a future perspective, the gathered process during the creation of recorded music from idea to delivery and experience?Method: We have used a qualitative approach for this study and we have conducted seven interviews with persons from different areas of the Music Industry and radio.

Det kunskapssamhälle som råder idag medför att organisationer måste rusta sig och hålla ett högt tempo i den förändringsbenägna omvärlden. Kunskap och lärande ses däremellan som nyckelaktiviteter i relation till förändring vilket i sin tur föder innovation. Forskning har påvisat att småföretag förväntas bidra till en större del av näringslivets tillväxt, men att småföretagen samtidigt har behov av att höja sin innovationskapacitet för att möta utmaningen. Studien avsåg därför att utforska småföretag i extern samverkan för att se huruvida ett sådant kunskapsutbyte skapat förutsättningar för innovation hos den egna organisationen. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ forskningsmetodik undersöktes sex småföretagsledare som deltagit i det lärande nätverket, Tillväxtmotorn, via semistrukturerade intervjuer.

The goal of this Masters thesis is to examine how people at the production department of Arkivator Falköping AB perceive the internal organisational communication Transfer and exchange of information, by means of a communication audit. The objectives are also to characterise the communication climate and the respondents satisfaction with the internal organisational communication within the organisation. The results of the study are compared with the companys information policy and with previous research in organisational communication. Answers from different demographic groups within the population are compared. The communication audit was conducted using a modified and added version of a questionnaire originally compiled by the International Communications Association.

In order to make take-off and landing procedures possible at an airport, an organized allo- cation of slots is necessary. How these slots shall be distributed among airlines is, at pre- sent, governed by the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EEC) No 95/93 of 18 Janu- ary 1993 on common rules for the allocation of slots at Community airports. It is important for the air- lines to be allocated a beneficial slot. Hence it is of great interest for the airlines to ex- change and Transfer the allocated times among themselves, a form of secondary market. Whether such practices are allowed or not is not regulated by specific detail in the regula- tion, which leads to legal uncertainty.

The purpose of this master thesis is to provide Objektor AB (thesis initiator) with tips on how to design a usable soft phone that they know is based on relevant human computer interaction research.The method used in the thesis has been iterative development.

This thesis presents a method of making repairs in log houses. The purpose of the thesis is to use this method to exemplify crafters practical intellect. The method is based on the use of a template board to Transfer the measurements onto the new log. There is a dearth of literature dealing with timber repairs, and the literature regarding using a template board for this is non-existent. The description of this method has therefore been compiled from interviews with active timber crafters.
