During the period 1952-2008, real prices of wood before taxes and charges declined. However, the actual net income has not changed by the same percentage as the price list, because taxation, driving costs and the ability to make deductions has changed. This report considers the inflation by using the Swedish consumer price index. Net income refers to the remaining income when relevant costs, taxes and fees have been paid.The purpose of this study was to examine how the private forest owner's real net income has evolved over the period 1952-2008 for three categories of forest owners. I den här kandidatuppsatsen har vi undersökt hur arbetslöshet framställs i tidningarna Aftonbladet, Dagens Industri och Dagens Nyheter under olika ekonomiska kriser i Sverige under åren 1993, 2000 och 2009. Vi undersökte främst hur skuld och lösningsansvar delades ut i texterna samt vilken roll tillfrågade experter hade. Vi använde oss av teorier om framing och språkliga grepp. Undersökningen gjordes genom en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av olika sorters artiklar och urvalet bestod av 225 analysenheter.Tidigare forskning har visat att mottagare av nyheter, publiken, påverkas i olika grad av  hur händelser gestaltas och vinklas i olika medier. Denna studie undersöker inte publikens reaktioner, utan hur tre svenska tidningar väljer att skriva om arbetslöshetsfrågan under olika svenska ekonomiska kriser.

This MSc thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the need for information from forest campartments selected for clear cutting, in connection with planning in an integrated forest- and sawmill enterprise. A review of literature is followed by a case stud y, where present conditions in a Swedish forest company are compared with current research in the area. The seeond part consists of a simulation stud y, which aims at camparing the accuracy of inventory estimates using different methods. The estimates are delivery forecasts, covering one month consumptian of timber in a large sawmill.

AbstractMy essay is about pupils with difficulties in mathematics. I have choosed to do a literaturestudy and interviews of teachers to get some answers to my framing of the questions.· What is mathematical difficulties?· How do we discover pupils with mathematical difficulties?· What can a teather do to facilitate for pupils with mathematical difficulties?· What resources is there to help pupils with mathematical difficulties?I have done my investigationin two schools to be abel to see if the schools are working in the same way and have the same prerequisite of pupils with mathematical difficulties.By doing an interview with both teachers and remedial teachers I have got a better insight how to help pupils in the best way. Both of this schools are putting the pupils in the middle and give them wath they need to get to the destinations that claims. The procedure are not the same between the schools.

The primary purpose of this study has been to investigate the Swedish timber industry?s perception of compression wood. A secondary aim has been to describe particular areas within the production process where compression wood is likely to cause problems. This study has mainly been carried out as a questionnaire. In order to connect the findings to current research, additional information has also been collected by means of a literature review. The questionnaire has been intended for sawmills and wood-manufacturing companies from various production classes and owner categories, as well as from different parts of the country.

Our purposes with this essay was to increase our knowledge about, and try to describe, how it happens when people get involved in gambling and becomes addictive to gambling, and what the way out of a gambling addiction could look like. Our framing of the question was: - How does gambling begin? - How does gambling evolve to an addiction and how does it go forward from there? - How do you leave a gambling addiction? Is there an experience of turning points? We did qualitative interviews with six former gamblers. Our main conclusions were that the initiation to gambling can be very different and still lead to similar effects. There seems to be a strong enticement surrounding the attributes of gambling, which are connected to developing a gambling addiction. The experiences of turning points were very palpable.

This report shows how these people work with their business relationships, what they believe are the keys getting a successful relationship and how they have got were there they are now. De två byggvarugrossisterna Bengtsson & Gedelius AB och Timber Trading AB ska i januari 2006 bilda Elof Hansson Bygg-Gross AB. I samband med sammanslagningen skall även affärssystemen sammanfogas. Syftet med examensarbetet är att, med tonvikt på informationsflöden, undersöka, beskriva och jämföra träpaketshanteringen på Bengtsson & Gedelius AB och Timber Trading AB. Undersökningen har resulterat i förbättringsförslag som kan vara till hjälp vid sammanslagningen av de två företagen. Jämförelsen av teori och nuläge resulterade i ett idealfall vilket i sin tur synliggjorde förändringsbehoven.

Individual trees can act as carriers of meaning. When a person attributes deep meanings to a specific tree, a relationship between the person and the tree is created. To avoid conflicts between users and planners, increased awareness is required of how important individual trees may be to a person. The objective of this study was to elucidate persons? relationships with individual urban trees.

This study is an analysis of a survey that harvester operators working for SCA Ångermanland Skogsförvaltning have been participating in. The purpose of this study is to try to show the harvester operators opinion about the forestry planning that SCA provides. Hopefully will this information lead to suggestion about what part of the forestry planning needs to be improved, if any is needed? Unfortunately only 30 / 60 questionnaire has been returned so no conclusion can be made, except about those who have answered the survey. The answers of the survey indicate a number of areas that needs to be improved. The marked routes needs to be more visible and the education about timber landings must be enhanced.

Journalists and communication managers are becoming more professional and to reach out to its stakeholders in society today, organizations must work strategically with communication, to enter the news. Many make use of press releases to provide journalists with information, hoping to influence what is published on the news. With a background in the medial change that occurs is the purpose of this study to elucidate and problematize which role press releases has for newsrooms and for organizations today and in the future. A qualitative interview study has been used, and communication managers from three organizations and journalists from three newsrooms has been interviewed. The study has been combined with a quantitative pilot study of selected press releases and articles from the selected organizations.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur elever samt tidningarna Aftonbladet och Sydsvenskan beskriver Zlatan Ibrahimovic. För att få svar på studiens frågeställningar har en enkätundersökning gjorts, där 60 gymnasieelever fick ingå. För att analysera det insamlade materialet har Faircloughs tredimensionella modell inom den kritiska diskursanalysen använts. De centrala teorier som studien utgått ifrån är dagordningsteorin, framing, sensationsjournalistik samt diskursanalys. Studiens viktigaste slutsats är att det främst är en positiv bild av Zlatan som målas upp, både hos eleverna och i de valda artiklarna.

Detta genom att undersöka vilka mottyper till den normativa manligheten som förekommer i pjäsen, i vilken grad männen i pjäserna har behov av en homosocial arena för att få sin manlighet bekräftad och om kvinnan har någon roll att spela i maskulinitetsskapandet.I The Iceman Cometh är den tydligaste mottypen alkoholisten. Denne är en man som gett upp i kampen om att uppnå statusen av en ?self-made man?. Exempel på en konkurrerande manlighetsbild finns i de karaktärer som har ett förflutet inom den amerikanska anarkiströrelsen.

In order to understand the human impact on today?s remaining ?virgin? forest and to develop sensible management strategies for future reserves, it is necessary to know how these forests have developed. This knowledge can be gained by using forest history analysis. here are large areas of forests still untouched by modern forestry in the mountainous region in the county of Norrbotten. These forests are highly interesting study objects from an ecological and historical point of view.

The Swedish forest industry has put a lot of resources in the development of digital communications in hopes of improving collaboration with suppliers. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether VIDA would benefit from using digital communication with suppliers. The survey was conducted as a questionnaire study among the company?s staff and its suppliers. The result indicated needs and interests to use digital communications in both groups. Young suppliers and suppliers on a distance showed the most interest in using digital communication. In terms of using these digital communications, the staffs and suppliers were most interested in information regarding transaction and forestmanagement plans.
