Syftet med denna uppsats var dels att kartlägga vilken professionell hjälp våldsamma män kan få i Stockholms län samt hur dessa verksamheter förklarar problemet mäns våld mot kvinnor i nära relationer. Undersökningen består delvis av webbaserad information samt sju halvstrukturerade intervjuer med verksamheter där alla var professionell utbildade i socialt arbete. Resultaten analyserades utifrån ett strukturellt, socialpsykologiskt och individuellt perspektiv. Andra teorier som har använts är de som handlar om relationsvåld och maktlöshet med olika orsaksförhållanden såsom samhällsrelaterade och våldsrelaterade. Även en samarbetsmodell, samt tidigare forskning användes vid analysen av resultaten.

This study examines the cultural place and status of video and computer games in the Swedish public library. Using works on popular culture and the theories of Pierre Bourdieu, this study employs quantitative methods, as well as textual analysis, to analyze the results of an online questionnaire with 19 questions focusing on selection criteria, shelf placement, perceived competence, as well as reasoning for having or not having these games in the library. 286 out of the 440 libraries contacted is participating in the study, and the libraries consist exclusively of public libraries in Sweden that are found in the database of the Royal Library.The results of this study show that a larger number of libraries than previously indicated have started to provide electronic games to their patrons. At the same time, patterns in the data and comments suggests that these games in many cases still do not enjoy the same level of cultural recognition as other media. Indicative of this is the way most libraries seem to focus on the medium being exclusively for their young patrons, with seem-ingly very little in the way of investment for adults.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur legitimerade familjeterapeuter inom Barn och- ungdoms psykiatrin (BUP) upplever sin egen och sin arbetsplats kunskap gällande barn som upplevt familjevåld. Syftet var vidare att titta på hur legitimerade familjeterapeuter genomför bedömningar och behandlingar på BUP när de träffar barn som kan ha upplevt eller som har upplevt familjevåld. Frågeställningar har varit hur legitimerade familjeterapeuter upplever sin egen respektive sin arbetsplats kunskap gällande målgruppen barn som upplevt familjevåld? Ytterligare frågeställningar har varit hur bedömningar görs samt hur behandlingen ser ut som erbjuds av legitimerade familjeterapeuter på BUP?  I studien har 38 legitimerade familjeterapeuter svarat på en enkät med fasta svarsalternativ. Enkätstudien har vidare kompletterats med 13 telefonintervjuer med semistrukturerade frågor för att möjliggöra att respondenterna fått delge sina åsikter på ett friare sätt.

SUMMARYThe demands on the public environment are big and in particular on the environment of communication which we spend a lot of time in on our way to work, school etc. The city-approach is a road section that leads from the periphery of the city to the centre of the city, often through boring and meaningless industrial areas that displays the back side of the city to the voyager on the city-approach. The intentions of this thesis in landscape architecture has been to study one of the two city-approaches to the city of Luleå, the close surroundings and contextual position in the city and not at least give suggestions of ways how the city-approach can be changed, clarified and improved. The study of the city-approach has been made by studying literature that concern city-approaches and the architecture of roads in general. Studies of different analysis methods has been made to find appropriate approaches to work with the specific study of the city-approach to Luleå.

Introduktion: Tidigare forskning kring partnervåld har främst omfattat våld i heterosexuella relationer och begreppet partnervåld har använts i det närmaste synonymt med mäns våld mot kvinnor. Precis som våld i heterosexuella relationer är samkönat partnervåld inte ett nytt fenomen, dock relativt outforskat. Syfte: Att undersöka och beskriva uppfattningar om våld som begås i samkönade relationer avseende skillnader mellan män och kvinnor. Metod: Studenter från Mittuniversitetet rekryterades (N = 227; 126 kvinnor och 101 män), vilka läste en vinjett och besvarade en enkät. I vinjetterna illustrerades våld i en samkönad relation med antingen två män, eller två kvinnor.

En kvalitativ metod har använts och sex intervjuer har utförts. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna är genus, maskulinitet och det hegemoniska perspektivet. Resultatet framhäver att respondenterna är medvetna om de föreställningar som finns i samhället. Detta är något som de måste förhålla sig till i mötet med de utsatta männen.

The agriculture of today is getting larger and larger and it demands more efficient machines to handle these larger units. But all farmers don?t have the opportunities or don?t want to expand. What should they do if they want to remain on the farm? An alternative is to start a farm shop.

Bakgrund: Våld mot kvinnor i partnerrelationer är ett stort samhällsproblem och varje år dör ungefär 17 kvinnor till följd av våldet. När kvinnorna besöker hälso- och sjukvården kan en unik möjlighet ges att upptäcka partnervåldet. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur kvinnor som blivit våldsutsatta av en manlig partner upplever vårdpersonalens bemötande. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie gjordes som baserades på 14 vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultat: Kvinnorna upplevde att vårdpersonalen inte vågade ställa frågan om partnervåld, dock hade de flesta positiva upplevelser av att vårdpersonalen satt ner och lyssnade på dem.

This Master?s thesis is an analysis of metaphors in relation to actors, and of discourses used in the copyright-debate in two major Swedish daily newspapers and one American: Göteborgs-Posten, Svenska Dagbladet and New York Times during the years 2001-2006. We aim to answer the following questions: Which metaphors were being used in the copyright-debate to create the archetypal villain, hero, winner and loser in editorials, debate and letters to the editor in the three newspapers? Which discourses did those metaphors relate or conform to? Which similarities or differences could be found when comparing the two countries? newspapers regarding representations and constructions of villains, heroes, winners and losers in the copyright-debate? Firstly we distinguished who the actors in the debate were, following parts of Theo van Leeuwen?s actors? analysis. Secondly we distinguished which metaphors were being used to describe the actors as either villains, heroes, winners or losers.

Studien bygger p? 6 kvalitativa intervjuer med socialarbetare och poliser med syfte att unders?ka hur yrkesprofessionella beskriver sitt arbete och samverkan kring barn som bevittnat v?ld. Dessutom har det unders?kts huruvida de professionella upplever att det har skett en f?r?ndring i deras arbete efter inf?randet av barnfridbrottslagen. Under analysen har Lipskys teori om gr?srotsbyr?krati samt Paynes teori om paradigm inom socialt arbete anv?nts.

One of the social services primary missions is to protect children from suffering harm. Social service work should work based on the child?s best and have the child's perspective in mind. In all cases involving children, the focus is on the child's needs and interests and is regulated in Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Both of the previous research and this study reveal the various markers that are evident in the social services handling of honor related cases.

Today many separated children and youth up to 18 years - children in the sense of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child - flee from war and armed conflicts around the world. Many of them come to Sweden for protection and to apply for asylum.The aim of this study is to examine how the national Swedish news agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå - TT - constructs the image of separated children and youth. The main research questions have been: How does TT construct the image of the separated refugee children? The more detailed questions put to examine this main question have been: what are the issues being focused in the reporting and what discourses, voices and sources are let into the journalistic material?The theoretical perspective should be considered as social constructionistic where the basic idea is that the image of the separated child also constructs the way society looks upon them, their rights and their needs, affecting how these children will be welcomed and treated when thay arrive in our society. The empirical study is a qualitative analysis of text, produced in the span 2007- April 20th 2010.

This study has dealt with a phenomena that is regarded as new in the Swedish context of social work called honour related violence because of sexual orientation. The purpose was to critically examine a project that offers a variation of assistance for individuals between 13 and 25 years of age who suffers from the above. The project mentioned is run by an organisation called RFSL Rådgivningen Skåne. The aim was to examine the practice and to gain knowledge concerning the target group and relate it to that described by the project. Another aim for the study was to look into how the employees and the author of a report that is commonly used as background material in the practice used the complicated terms involved in the field and how that may effect the individuals that are the target for the resources.

In the 1970´s the North American lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) was introduced to Sweden in large scale. The lodgepole pine affects its new environment different from Scots pine (P. sylvestris), leading to a change in biological diversity. Forestry today affects the ground beetle fauna (Carabidae). Habitat specialists associated with older forests are first affected. When the canopy closes again after a clear-cutting species that prefer open habitats reduces and those who prefer mature/closed forests increase. In this study we compare differences in diversity and community structure of ground beetles in stands of lodgepole pine and Scots pine.

English abstractTitle: Islam and the limitations of the public will of choice.The purpose of this paper have been to investigate how three modern Islamic theorists view the limitations of the public free will of choice based upon their interpretation of the Islamic theology and doctrine.The paper focuses to highlight how all three chosen Islamic theorist interpret the Islamic doctrine based upon my elected theses and more specifically pinpoint were the free will of choice ends, and Islam as a religion starts to take hegemony. The paper?s aim is to further an understanding that in the modern world and as a effect of increased literacy, Islam has been somewhat inclined to split into several Islamisms, based upon the variety of fatwa?s on the Islamic doctrine that is available online. Therefore it remains to the modern day Muslim, to individually decide whether they choose to follow the message of the Holy revelation in the Quran or trust a mufti?s fatwa in their everyday life as a Muslim.The material used and analyzed in this paper is prime source material.
