Bakgrund och problemformulering: Det finns en komplexitet vid användandet av olika styrmodeller och därför är det av vikt att kritiskt granska vilka styrmedel som implementeras i organisationen. Det är även viktigt att se till att styrmodellerna samverkar och välja den rätta kombinationen av dem. Problematiken handlar om att organisationer använder sig av styrmodeller som inte är kompatibla med varandra. Styrmodeller som bygger på olika styrlogiker riskerar att motverka varandra vilket kan leda till obalanser och negativa effekter.Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att, via enkätstudie, beskriva om mellanchefer upplever balans mellan ekonomistyrningsmodellerna; mål- och resultatstyrning samt detaljstyrning och förklara om skillnaden i ägandet kan vara en förklaringsfaktor till eventuella obalanser. Vi vill även veta hur det tar sig i uttryck.

I detta examensarbete har en studie genomförts av hur väl 3D-skrivning kan tillämpas i Volvo Cars i Skövdes produktion. En litteraturstudie har genomförts för att åskådliggöra de olika 3D-skrivningsteknikerna och deras användningsområde. För att på ett överskådligt sätt jämföra de olika teknikernas duglighet har en bedömningsskala utvecklad av Nasa använts. Denna skala benämns som Technology Readiness Level (TRL). Den teknik som bedöms som mest lämplig med avseende på fullskalig produktion samt prototyptillverkning är Selective laser melting (SLM).För att åskådliggöra fördelar med 3D-skrivare har en förenklad 3D-modell av Volvos cylinderblock I5D modellerats.

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

Syftet med rapporten är att utvärdera vilka hot och möjligheter som uppstår i anslutning till implementeringen av kulturförändringen och hur kan en förförståelse av dessa hot och möjligheter omsättas i en effektivare implementeringsstrategi.Tidigare forskning/Teori: I denna rapport används Edgar Scheins organisationskulturs teori används som analysverktyg för att skapa en förståelse för organisationskultur. Magnus Forslunds ledarskapsteori används i rapporten som analysverktyg för att förklara chefers påverkan på organisationen. Dean Fixen och Bo Ahrenfelt förändrings- och implementerings teorier kommer att användas som analysverktyg. Den tidigare studien från ord till handling som handlar om arbetarnas förutsättningar, tillvägagångssätt och reaktioner på ledarskapet, används för att skapa en förförståelse om det valda företagets tidigare kulturförändringar.Metoden för studien är kvalitativ och datainsamlingen skedde genom nio stycken personliga intervjuer med medarbetare och chefer på Volvo Cars Sweden. Det kvalitativa tillvägagångssättet är uppbyggt av tre faser, datainsamling, bearbetning av data och analys av data.

Allt större och större andel företag väljer att presentera och förmedla varor och tjänster via e-handel. En viktig aspekt vid e-handel är att kunden känner förtroende för e-handelsapplikationen och företaget. Denna rapport redogör för vilken inverkan multimediala inslag har för förtroendet av en e-handelsapplikation, vid initialt användande. En undersökning har genomförts med hjälp av en kooperativ utvärdering av fyra e-handelsapplikationer vilka innehåller olika typer av multimediala inslag har.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att multimediala inslag inverkar positivt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer. Däremot finns indikationer på att för hög grad av multimedialt inslag inverkar negativt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer..

Detta examensarbete är utfört på Volvo Cars i Torslanda, hädanefter refererat till VCT. På Torslandaverket tillverkas bilmodellerna S80, V70, V70XC och XC90. Varje bil skräddarsys för kunden och är näst intill unik. Detta medför att antal artiklar ökar och det i sin tur leder till ökade lagernivåer. Idag har VCT problem med att det inte finns tillräckligt med lageryta och de måste finna lösningar för att reducera lagernivåer.

This report concentrates on why more people do not choose an environmentally friendly car instead of a conventional car. To find this answer we have used theories that include decision - behavior and environment - philosophy. We have also made four surveys, which includes several interviews. The results of these interviews, together with the secondary data we have found, have been analyzed against the theories made by our choice. We have found that the stimulus that we have today isn?t enough to make more people choose an environmentally friendly car instead of a conventional car.

This work examines the students´ thoughts on climate change with a focus on carbondioxid through photosynthesis and the carbon emissions from cars. The study is based on two subject areas, one with a focus on enhanced greenhouse effect, and the other focusing on photosythesis. The survey was conducted by means of qualitative interviews with students in grades four and six. The results describe that student´s understanding for photosynthesis and the carbondioxids function for photosynthesis doesn´t change significantly from grade four to grade six. I have divided the students inte three levels based on their understandingof the various fields, and their use of adequate concepts.

Detta examensarbete är utfört vid Volvo Cars Torslanda i Göteborg. I Torslandafabriken produceras fyra olika bilmodeller, S80, V70, XC70 och XC90, vid ett och samma monteringsflöde. Då monteringsarbetet sker vid en driven line upplever de anställda att produktionstakten är hög. Dessutom innebär de olika modellerna ett stort antal arbetsmoment. Problemet för Volvo är att nå uppsatta kvalitetsmål då det höga arbetstempot och det stora antalet arbetsmoment begränsar montörernas möjlighet till att snabbt komma upp i nödvändigt arbetstempo.

This reports goal is the give BSR AB more information that's useful towards their customers in marketing of their products.It involves tests of different air filters designed for cars and 3D-modelling of Opti-Flow systems. The three models thats being tested is SAAB (93SS), VAG (1.8T) and Volvo (S60). To every brand there are three different models. A orginal- , sport- and an open cone air filter (Opti-Flow).The results indicate that the open Opti-Flow filter has better performance compared to the other cased filters. The sport filters for SAAB and Volvo has better performance then the original filter.

Produktframtagningsindustrin utsätts för snabba förändringar vilket medför att kraven från kunder, konkurrenter och lagkrav ökar. Företag inom produktframtagning måste därför ständigt förbättra sina metoder och processer för att fortsätta konkurrera och leverera kvalitativa produkter och tjänster. Samtidigt ska de nya metoderna vara lättarbetade, lättförståeliga och effektiva, med fokus på att minska fel, slöseri och resurser som inte skapar värde för slutkunden. Ett samordnat flöde med tvärfunktionella processer är därför önskvärt för att på ett lönsamt sätt uppnå satta mål.Med detta i åtanke fanns en uppdragsbeskrivning på Scania för att följa upp artikelritningens funktion och användning. Examensarbetet har undersökt vilka möjligheter som finns med att använda 3D-modellen som informationsbärare för att på sikt kunna ersätta artikelritningen.

This Master?s Thesis work was performed at the Studio Engineer department at Volvo CarsDesign Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden. The assignment has been to create a new idea of an airvent where the news value mainly was focused at functionality but also with great attention onvisual appearance.The work has been totally independent and not been aimed to any specific car model. Theindependency initially made that the visual appearance primary wasn?t limited in any way dueto surrounding components.
