Background: The request for the Reggio Emilia practice has expanded enormously the last couple of years within the Swedish preschools. This particular practice describes the environment as a third educator. This third educator is supposed to work as - not only a tool - but also a support to ease children's learning experiences and help develop their mind. AbstractSwedish tuition for immigrants (SFI) is a public adult education program in Sweden that was created in order to provide the immigrants with basic skills in Swedish. People with different backgrounds speaking different languages learn together how they should communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. For those who teach SFI it is important to know which factors have positive effects on the Swedish language acquisition. One of the questions to be asked is if the learning materials´ genre has any effect on the SFI students´ proficiency, in particular, oral proficiency. Scientists as von Franz, Vygotskiy and Bettelheim argued that fairy tales, as a genre consciously or subconsciously recognizable by all the people, present texts that are easy to acqiure.

The aim of this essay is to illustrate a modern phenomenon, the Olympic Games, by applying the ideas of Mircea Eliade concerning space, time and myth. This literature study is mainly divided in two parts, one descriptive and one analytic. In the first part Eliade?s ideas and some criticism, which has been pointed against his theoretical approaches as well as his character, are presented. In the second part an analysis is carried out, based on the previously presented ideas and elements essential for the Olympics; the idea of the Olympics, the place, the ceremonies, the competition and the concept of individual idolism.I have discussed what seems like gnostic tendencies in Eliade?s ideas, in the sense that both Eliade?s ideas and the concept of Gnosticism argue that knowledge is a necessary condition for salvation, as well as the fact that Eliade and his ideas have not always a pro-Christian approach.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to study attitudes and standpoints among a few librarians towards literature with state supported distribution provided by the Swedish Arts Council. By qualitative interviews with librarians at five different public libraries, the thesis examines which attitudes that flourish concerning the titles, how the circular of books is treated, where the titles belong on the literature map and if the system is producing a standardisation of this literature and if the conception of quality is relevant. We also study how the librarians relate to intentions of the Swedish Art Council with the distributed titles and how they regard their availability. Our theoretical framework is based on Hans Hertel?s model of five literary circulations and Theodor W.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka läsförståelsestrategier elever använde sig av när de skulle förstå olika textgenrer. För att undersöka vilka strategier som elever i årskurs tre använde när de läste olika slags textgenrer användes tre olika texter, en skönlitterär text, en faktatext och en instruktionstext.Vi använde oss av kvalitativa intervjuer för att ta reda på vilka strategier eleverna använde när de skulle förstå innehållet i en text.Resultatet i studien visade att elever använde olika strategier när de skulle förstå olika slags texter. Resultatet tydde även på att elever var medvetna om fler strategier än vad de använde under våra intervjuer. Dessa strategier var alternativa sätt som eleverna kunde använda om de fick problem med texten. Det kunde till exempel vara svåra ord som eleverna behövde identifiera.Resultatet visade på att elever främst använde strategin att nyttja minnet när de försökte förstå olika slags texter.

Denna uppsats försöker beskriva Johan Magnus Wickelius (1817-1867) livsförståelse. Eller hans teologiska typ. I det arbetet har jag använt Benkt-Erik Benktsons typologiska metod, inom vilken man arbetar med schematiserade typer som Wickelius är jämförd med och placerade inom (eller inte) under arbetes gång. Denna typologiska metod är inte en klassificering där individen, som undersöks, är placerad i ett fack för alltid. Individen är istället placerad i ett landskap där de schematiserade typerna är som kullar emellan (eller på) vilka individen sedan placeras.

Det övergripande syftet med denna studie har varit att utreda förekomsten och graden av reproducerande drag i elevtexter när elever skriver faktatext, samt lärares föreställningar kring läs- och skrivutveckling i koppling till reproduktion som fenomen. Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i teorier om läs- och skrivutveckling kopplat till genre och genrepedagogik. Studien omfattar två skolor och har utförts i årskurs 3. Från de båda skolorna har sammanlagt 36 elevtexter, 18 texer från varje skola, analyserats. Elevtexterna har i analysen jämförts med den text som använts som källa för att utreda graden av reproduktiva inslag.

With Derrida?s conception of deconstruction, the analysis will reveal the constructedness of the true love in Söderbergs novel. Examinating typi¬cal logocentric binarisms the essay will show that the notion of true love is constituting a term in an oppositional relation with, in this specific case, the marriage sanctioned by society.

Aim: The study's aim and run-up are to investigate how journalists frame texts, during impact of those standards and values that they have, combined with the organization and in the nation where they work.Method/Material: The study looks on how the authors of articles at the Swedish newspaper "Dagens Nyheter" and the Norwegian newspaper "Dagbladet", uses the concept al-Qaida, in their news rapport, during the period 19:th of mars ? 24:th of august 2003. Fem motorfamiljer tillverkas i olika storlek och för olika applikationer. Syftet med detta projekt var att undersöka fyra frågeställningar angående tre sammankopplade steg i produktionen av dessa motorer. Dessa stegen var tvätt, montering och provning.

Högläsning är en handling när en vuxen läser en text högt för ett eller flera barn och är en viktig del av barns språkutveckling. Att besitta ett rikt språk är av stor vikt för att leva och verka i dagens samhälle som präglas av text och samtal. Sett från det senaste decenniet har barns läsförmåga och intresse till läsning försämrats. Därför är det betydelsefullt att lärare tillämpar arbetssättet högläsning i undervisningen. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa högläsningens betydelse i de tidiga skolåren.
