Background: Since the end of the 1990`s the self-harm among adolescents have increased. Research is needed on how to improve the ability to care for these patients. That is why it is important to investigate how patients who self-harm and the next of kin are encountered by the caregivers.Aim: The aim of this study was to illuminate the experiences of encounters with caregivers at self-harm.Method: The study was based on narratives, which in this case means analysis of autobiographies. Five autobiographies were analyzed in accordance with a description by Dahlborg-Lyckhage. Four of these were written by self-harmers and one by a next of kin.Results: Three themes and twelve subthemes emerged which describe both negative and positive experiences of encounters with caregivers.

Uppsatsen behandlar Anne B. Ragdes roman Berlinerpopplarna (2007) och Alice Munros novell ?Kärlek, vänskap, hat? (2009). Båda verken är skrivna i modern tid av kvinnliga författare och innehåller en rad liknande stildrag, bland annat intern fokalisation inifrån flera olika karaktärer.Mitt syfte har varit att se vad som skiljer två verk med liknande drag och därigenom påvisa hur de stilgrepp och val författaren gör påverkar slutresultatet. För att finna svaret har jag använt komparation och jämfört varje aspekt av böckerna noggrant.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka likheterna mellan den populära klassikern Alice's adventures in Wonderland och Berger och Luckmanns teori om verkligheten som en social konstruktion, samt Anthony Giddens modernitetsbegrepp. För att besvara mitt syfte på ett tydligare sätt har jag definierat och fokuserat på sex teman som återkommer i boken, i den tidigare forskningen och i teorierna, nämligen: vardagsverkligheten, identitet, rationalitet, tid, språk, samt ordning.Efter en genomgång av de teoretiska aspekter uppsatsen stödjer sig på har materialet analyserats med hjälp av en hermeneutisk cirkel; hur delarna ska tolkas har varit beroende av hur helheten tolkas och hur helheten tolkats har varit beroende av hur delarna tolkats. Uppmärksamhet vid återkommande beskrivningar som liknar varandra i betydelse har varit en viktig del av arbetet för att kunna ge en mer tillförlitlig helhetsförståelse. The subject of this dissertation is the autobiographical novel Arnold by the Swedish writer Emilia Fogelklou (1878-1972). By combining Gérard Genette?s narratology and Andrew Gibson?s narrative ethics this study seeks to examine through what means the relationship is being told and with what ethical consequences different strategies are used to tell one?s experiences from life. The narrative analysis focuses on how the narrator is engaged in the narrative, how the bond between narrator and characters can be described, what is known to whom and how, and what is beyond the narrative?s limits.

Inger Edelfeldt (1956) and Bengt Martin (1933-2010) are two Swedish writers of different generations. Both of them did, between the years 1968 to 1983, write about adolescent men coming to terms with their homosexuality. Edelfeldt wrote two versions of the same story, with slight but significant differences, the main being different implied readers (adult versus adolescent). Bengt Martin wrote about three young homosexual characters: Joakim, Bengt and Bengt. The story about Joakim is presented as fiction but bears many resemblances with Martin?s autobiography.

I kommunen X skolplan står det skrivet att Vägledande samspel är ett arbetsverktyg för ökad måluppfyllelse bland eleverna. Vägledande samspel är ett program vars mål är att öka lärarnas medvetenhet om sina egna roller och om det betydelsefulla samspelet med barnen. Syftet med den här studien var att ta reda på hur lärare och rektorer på två F-6 skolor upplevde Vägledande samspel. Via åtta kvalitativa intervjuer har vi fått svar på hur lärarna och rektorerna upplever Vägledande samspel, hur Vägledande samspel kan tillämpas under skoldagen och vilka begränsningar som upplevs med Vägledande samspel. Respondenterna är alla positivt inställda till Vägledande samspel.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka vår litterära kompetens genom att studera ett litterärt verk. I vår forskning har vi studerat vår egen litterära kompetens genom att läsa och analysera Alice i Underlandet av Lewis Carroll med hjälp av en tematisk textanalys med temadefinitionen av Romberg (1987). Sedan har vi jämfört vår analys med olika litteraturforskares analyser av samma verk. I jämförelsen har vi valt att använda oss av en teoretisk modell om litterär kompetens av Torell (2002) för att kunna urskilja hur vi läser litteratur och vilka kompetenser ur Torells modell som vi besitter. Vad vi kom fram till i forskningen var att vi bland annat frekvent använder oss av subjektiva och erfarenhetsbundna tolkningar när vi analyserar och ofta brister i kompetenser som innebär ett bredare förhållningssätt till mönster och strukturer.

AbstractThe aim of this essay is to bring understanding to one of the problems theinternationally adopted in Sweden might face, the identity dilemma. In order to do so, a theory of identity construction, Constructionism, is used. This theory says that the construction of identities is a constantly continuing process, influenced, not only by our own perception of ourselves, but also by how we are viewed and treated by otherpeople.Given this theoretic starting point, an examination of the adoptees? everydayencounters in the Swedish society is made, using an autobiography, a biography, a collection of interviews, and newspaper articles. The result shows that the internationally adopted, although they are Swedish both by mind and by law, experience that they have been, and sometimes still are, confronted with strong attitudes such as racism, prejudice and stereotypes.Furthermore, those who experience the identity dilemma often refer to how they are perceived by ?the others?, or to what the encounters with ? the real? Swedes have been like.
