A study of communication content, frequency and problems was performed at the Swedish Air Force Air Combat Simulation Centre, FLSC. The purpose was to investigate the connection between team communication and performance variables, to study communication problems during air combat and to employ and develop the PILOT method of communication problem analysis. Ten fighter pilots and four fighter controllers engaged in simulated air combat beyond visual range in Teams on two sides, Blue and Red, with four pilots and one fighter controller each. Eight such training runs lasting 15 to 25 minutes were analyzed with regard to the Blue team?s communication during launch situations, i.e.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om skolkuratorer upplever att makt kommer till uttryck i det elevhälsoteam där de arbetar och i så fall på vilket sätt. Vidare har vi undersökt vad informanterna tror att det kan bero på samt vad det kan få för konsekvenser för socionomens arbete. Vi har genomfört kvalitativa enskilda intervjuer med fem skolkuratorer verksamma på fem olika grundskolor i Göteborg. Resultatet visade att makt kommer till uttryck i elevhälsoteam på två huvudsakliga sätt; som fast genom position och som vandrande mellan teammedlemmarna. Dessa två maktformer har vi valt att benämna som positionell makt och vandrande makt.

A company library can only exist if it contributes to a positive result for the company. As endusers are beginning to perform searches on the Internet and have access to databases and electronic documents via their desktops it becomes important for company librarians to thoroughly think through what services should be offered to the users so that the library still contributes to the company s profit. The aim of this dissertation was to try to define the services that the company library offers its users having in mind the changes that have taken place concerning the availability of information. I also wanted to explore whether the librarians had the necessary competence to perform the services offered. Six information specialists were interviewed to give their view on the services their libraries offered.

In 2011, I and fellow student at Gotland University created a multimedia game. To fit the time constraints a ?vertical slice? was created. This means a small sample of the game is taken which allows the user to understand how the game works, and at the same time, get a visual demonstration of how the game is designed. The goal of the project was to create a narrative for stadium games in which the backstory is told as players interact with their surroundings.

Syftet med studien är att få djupare insikt i på vilka sätt en orkester eller en musikutbildning kan skapa ett utvecklande och stimulerande arbetsklimat, det vill säga en miljö där varje individ ges bästa förutsättningar till utveckling såväl personligt som professionellt. Det saknas mer omfattande forskning inom området. Med detta i åtanke är min avsikt att med detta examensarbete få en djupare insikt i frågeställningar som rör det förhållningssätt dessa miljöer kan ha för att verka utvecklande för alla deltagare. Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i teorier om ledarskap och grupprocesser.Datamaterialet består av halvstrukturerade intervjuer med ledare och chefer som arbetar på Operahögskolan, Kungliga Musikhögskolan och på Folkoperan i Stockholm.Resultaten visar att ledarskapet har en mycket betydande roll för hur verksamheten fungerar och driver sina huvuduppgifter framåt. Det är chefen eller ledningen i orkesterverksamheten och i musikutbildningen som tillsammans med den grundläggande företagsidén skapar företagets själ och kultur.

Background: In today's Swedish health care, it is required that the various professionals must work together in Teams to safer care. Several professionals with various skills expected working together in the traumateam at the care of the traumapatient. At the same time, research shows that substandard teamwork leads to avoidable errors in care. One way to improve teamwork is to practice. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to shed light on the experiences of the traumateam exercises that exercise participants feel has been favorable for the patient at the initial care of trauma patients.

AimThe aim with this study was to analyse how strategic decisions through schemas of play, in this case the Pick and Roll, effect the end result of a basketball game. Following questions were answered:? How often is the Pick and Roll used? The total sum per team and game?? What field goal percentage generates the Pick and Roll?? How often generates the Pick and Roll turnovers?? How often does the attacking team receive foul during Pick and Roll, and what is the team awarded from the foul situation?? How often is the Pick and Roll interrupted without any effect?MethodTo be able to answer the questions in our study we videoanalysed 2251 Pick and Roll-situations from the European Championships for Men in 2003 through video analysis. We used nine different categories to sort the 2251 Pick and Roll situations.ResultsThe Pick and Roll is executed 62,53 times per game, or viewed as 0,43 Pick and Roll / possession. Points / possession during the games was 1,04 while points / Pick and Roll was 0,60.

Communication is essential for the survival of an organization. The management formulates strategies to ensure thatthe organization will get to where they want it to go. The strategy is then communicated to the co-workers through the line manager. But who is to say that the co-worker experience the message the same way as the line manager or the management for that matter? The purpose of this study is toinvestigate how the middle managers at Southern Älvsborg Hospital experience strategic internal communication andfurther how they communicate with their co-workers.Through a case study approach, the case being the communication of the hospitals research strategy, I conducted 13 interviews.I analyzed the material from the interviews using a hermeneutical approach and I used an interpretative approach to get a deeper understanding.

Vi har, med utgångspunkt ur ramfaktorteorin, försökt belysa vilka faktorer som arbetslag upplever påverkar möjligheterna att möta barn i behov av särskilt stöd i förskolan. Då vi i första hand var intresserade av att få syn på arbetslagens egna upplevelser ansåg vi att en fenomenologisk undersökning av kvalitativ karaktär bäst svarade mot vårt syfte. Vi önskade få fram arbetslagens samlade upplevelser kring våra frågeställningar och ansåg att fokusgruppintervjun då var en god metod.

The purpose of this master's degree thesis was to develop an understanding of how hospital management, in the case studied, worked to achieve changes in an organization influenced by differing professional cultures. To gain insight into the conditions that may have contributed to nurses and physicians developing appropriate attitudes and behaviours, which may have affected the organization's ability to achieve the Swedish Quality Award 2012. A qualitative single case study was conducted at Karlskoga Hospital, with focus groups as well as individual depth interviews. The results of the case study showed the following conditions provided nurses and physicians the potential to develop appropriate attitudes and behaviours, which may have influenced the hospitals ability to achieve the Swedish Quality Award:  Responsibility and influence over the development processes.Participation in management Teams and quality development groups as well as individual fields of responsibility.Training programs that have given insights and skills in quality management related to clinical practice.Nurses and physicians as key individuals gave legitimacy to development process, and served as management advisors.Collaboration between all kind of employees and responsibilities.Committed management.    .

The Department of Forest Products and Management, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences has received means from Vinnova for a preliminary study of the organisation of logging work of today and how a better logging organisation should be brought about. This thesis reports results from qualitative interviews with nine forest machine contractors regarding the situation of their companies. The interviews have been analysed with respect to the genesis of the companies, which tasks they perform or that they could consider perform-ing, business relationships of the companies, relationships between the different partners of the companies, and the state of competition experienced by the contractors. The companies have developed either from the contractor previously being machine operator employee or from that the contractor in making has owned a machine and needed work. Their primary business is mechanised logging.

The aim of the present thesis is to examine discourses about teaching information seeking in upper secondary school teachers. The main questions are: (1) What different interpretative repertoires can be identified among teachers talking about teaching information seeking in relation to students? problem-based tasks? (2) How are these repertoires constructed and what functions can be observed? The theoretical framework is discursive psychology. Two teacher Teams from two different upper secondary schools in the Gothenburg area participated in focus group interviews. Group A consisted of four teachers from the Individual Programme and group B of seven teachers from the Social Science Programme.

By that I got interested in research if any of these four key terms was more central for an individual?s motivation within a working team or if all four was as equally central.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate which motivational factors that is important to an individual?s motivation. I will do this by investigate the terms needs, goals, intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors. I want to investigate this by interviewing a number of employees within a working team, including a manager.  My hope is that my thesis will interest managers in working Teams, future managers and co-workers that want to learn more about motivation.Problem statement: What factors are important to individual motivation in a working team?   Methodology: I conducted a qualitative study where I gathered data from five persons.

Studiens syfte var att beskriva och analysera upplevelsen av ett lärande mellan olika yrkesaktörer i ett välfungerande rehabiliteringsteam samt vilken betydelse aktörernas lärande har för att samverka. Frågeställningarna var:? Hur upplever aktörerna i ett rehabiliteringsteam ett lärande? ? I vilken grad upplever teamaktörerna en personlig utveckling genom teamarbete?? Vilka möjligheter respektive svårigheter upplevs av teamaktörerna då man samverkar runt en rehabiliteringspatient? Urvalet hämtades från en vårdcentral i Västsverige där samtliga aktörer från ett och samma team studerades. Vi använde oss utav en kvalitativ metod och samlade in materialet genom sju intervjuer. Med en empiristyrd tematisk analys delade vi upp resultatet i tre teman.
