AbstractBachelor essay in Pedagogy by Johan Lidén &Kristian Sagfors, 2011."Genus i gymnasieskolan: En oengagerande fråga?".Supervisor: Zeki YalcinGender and gender equality in our school system has throughout the years become a well researched subject, however most of that research has focused on the lower levels of compulsory school. The upper secondary school has not gotten the same attention.We have chosen to explore how social science teachers in upper secondary school treat the subject of gender and gender equality, what strategies they apply in the classroom and how their pupils respond to the subject.We wanted to get access to their classrooms so we could do an ethnographical study to find the answers to how their lessons were planned and executed, if different teachers made different didactic choices depending on the orientation of the class. As our work progressed we ran in to an interesting problem which ultimately made us rethink the purpose of this paper.In our pursuit of respondents we contacted many schools by e-mail and later visited the schools to find participants. This proved difficult as we were met with a wall of silence and lack of interest.

Den organisatoriska strukturens påverkan på Agile i praktiken

Agile as an idea was created in 2001 through the Agile Manifesto with focus on social relationships, communication and flexibility. This was a reaction to the traditional, hierarchical organization with the goal of restoring balance within organizations in the IT business. Today we can see a transit of Agile from the IT-industry to other industries and areas, such as HRM.There is a challenge in attempting to traditionally control a social idea such as Agile, and there is a lack of empirical studies of the organizational context and its effect on the interpretation of Agile in practice. This study is an attempt to connect Agile to the science of business administration.The purpose with this study is therefore to research the organizational contexts effects on the interpretation of Agile in practice, within IT and HRM. Where Agile is established or well known.To fulfill our purpose we chose social constructivism as our scientifically approach, and conducted 12 in-depth interviews.

Kriminella gäng i Göteborg

Arbetet rör kriminella gäng i Västra Götaland och Göteborg, ett område med ett växande problem med gängkriminalitet. Det vi ville få fram med vårt arbete var: vilka gäng som är etablerade i Göteborg, vilken brottslighet de ägnar sig åt, hur rekryteringen till dessa gäng ser ut samt vad som krävs för att det ska anses vara organiserad brottslighet. Våra svar bygger på information inhämtad från Kriminalunderrättelsetjänsterna i Göteborg och Stockholm. Vi har till största del använt oss av polisens rapporter samt utredningar rörande ämnet. Men även på artiklar från Internet, Aftonbladet och Göteborgsposten.

Brottsprevention mot hembränt i Boden

Problemet med hembränd sprit i Sverige är inget nytt. Problemet började redan på 1400 talet när man började tillverka sprit. Hembränt är ett problem över hela landet och Boden är inget undantag. På grund av att hembränt är så billigt och lättillgängligt så blir det för ungdomar ofta en tidig inkörsport till sprit och andra droger. Som det ser ut idag så har polisen i Boden inte nog med resurser för att jobba riktat mot detta problem utan man jobbar mest utifrån tips.

Svenska Röda Korset-sjukhuset i Pusan 1950-58 : En studie av den svenska insatsen med avseende på dess varierande verksamhetsfokus samt generella utveckling

The aim of this paper is two-fold. Firstly, it is the production of a historical and chronological narrative describing the development of the Swedish Red Cross Hospital in Pusan during the years 1950-58. Secondly, it is the investigation of the objectives and aspirations of the organisations and institutions involved and how they affected how the hospital developed during the wartime years and up until the inauguration of the Scandinavian educational hospital, the National Medical Centre, in Seoul. Shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950 Sweden, a neutral nation, offered to send a contingent for the establishment of a 200 bed mobile field hospital which was to be subjected to the command of the Eighth US Army in Korea. In the end a larger semimobile evacuation hospital was set up in Pusan where both UN soldiers and PoWs were treated, and it came to be known as the Swedish Red Cross Hospital. The decrease in and finally the cessation of hostilities in 1953 opened up for treatment of Korean civilian patients and such work was conducted not only at the Swedish hospital but all over Pusan, though initially it was not formally sanctioned by American and UN authorities.

Makt som vandrar - en kvalitativ studie om hur skolkuratorer kan uppleva att makt fördelas i elevhälsoteam

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om skolkuratorer upplever att makt kommer till uttryck i det elevhälsoteam där de arbetar och i så fall på vilket sätt. Vidare har vi undersökt vad informanterna tror att det kan bero på samt vad det kan få för konsekvenser för socionomens arbete. Vi har genomfört kvalitativa enskilda intervjuer med fem skolkuratorer verksamma på fem olika grundskolor i Göteborg. Resultatet visade att makt kommer till uttryck i elevhälsoteam på två huvudsakliga sätt; som fast genom position och som vandrande mellan teammedlemmarna. Dessa två maktformer har vi valt att benämna som positionell makt och vandrande makt.

Due to stress, the workplace is a setting where actions of health promotion are of great importance in the perspective of public health. Stress is caused by heavy workload, low control of organizing their tasks and lack of support from colleagues and supervisors. This can lead to cardiovascular disease, depression and insomnia. Due to the health problems that this causes, it is important to examine how senior immigration offices perceive their psychosocial work environment.The aim of this thesis is to examine how the senior immigration offices at the Migration Board perceive their psychosocial work environment. The study is based on a qualitative approach with deductive content analysis and the data has therefore been collected through interviewing six people based on a semi-structured interview guide.The result has shown that the senior immigration offices are pleased with their work environment and that their workload is constantly changing.

Autenticitet i musik: En undersökning om gränsdragningen mellan musikbranschens spelregler och den autentiska upplevelseprodukten

Två upplevelseproducenter har i den här examensuppsatsen undersökt begreppet autenticitet, hur det ter sig och vad detta innebär i musik som sådan men även som en upplevelseprodukt i musikbranschen. Med ett hermeneutiskt synsätt har vi valt att göra fyra stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med musiker och andra nyckelpersoner inom musikbranschen.Vi har inte presenterat ett klart och tydligt svar, det skulle inte göra ett komplext ämne som detta rättvisa, utan istället utarbetat modeller som visar på ett förhållningssätt att arbeta efter. Den första handlar om ett förhållningssätt för att bibehålla autenticitet i bland annat olika processer. Den andra redovisar för hur ett sammansvetsat team som byggs upp likt en plattform kan vara ett hållbart alternativ för många, denna modell har vi valt döpa till KBM-plattformen, vilket står för Kreatör, Business och Management. Med denna modell vill vi visa hur dessa tre funktioner kan samspela.

Metodutveckling av självskattningsformulär för prestationsmätning av flygledare innan skiftstart

This paper was part of the ongoing cooperation between the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority and the Department of Psychology at Lund University. The purpose of this study was to develop a self-report measure regarding human factors, for the air traffic controllers to fill out before they start their working shift. This in order to aid the team leaders in their judgment regarding the air traffic controller's ability to perform at the right safety level. The self-report measure would also serve as an aid for the air traffic controllers who have a responsibility regarding their own performance. If successful this self-report measure would make it easier for the air traffic controllers to be alert regarding certain factors that can have a large impact on their performance.

Background: ?Transitional care? is a new form of care in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Sweden. The level of care, between outpatient and inpatient, has been developed to meet children/adolescents and their families in a different way than in the traditional outpatient and inpatient treatment. The contact offered can be intense with frequent contact and also with more time set aside for every occasion. The nurse, who is one of the categories of personnel involved in the multidisciplinary team works largely in other contexts than in the therapy room at the clinic or on the ward.

Reflekterande samtal- verktyg för utveckling? : Pedagogers upplevelser av reflekterande samtal i arbetet med elever i behov av särskilt stöd.

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyses educators? experiences of reflective conversations in their teams and part of teams in relation to their work with pupils in need of special support. Ten educators representing ten different teams have been interviewed since all had experiences of working in teams and working with pupils in need of special support. Focus has been on the educators? experiences of the organisation, the effects of the reflections and the need to develop the reflective conversations in their teams and part of teams.

Några svenska virkesaktörers system för skoglig planering

The purpose of this degree project is to give an overview of the planning system of four Swedish forest companies. The involved companies are ATA TIMBER, SYDVED, BERGS SKOG and VIDA SKOG. The study is based on information from a literature study and by interviews with personals from the four companies. Each company is described to get a better insight of the companies work and what potential they have. The description of the planning process comes after that. The companies are described separate from each other and will be compared later in this essay.

Klinikintern statistik : en fallstudie kring behov av och möjligheter till framtagandet av ett statistikverktyg

The health care sector is one of the most information-intensive institutions in Sweden. Big investments in information technology have been made to ensure efficiency and quality within organisations in health care. This has led to high requirements in documentation and resulted in an increase in administration which gradually more often is done by nurses and doctors. A major problem is that it is difficult to gain access to the information recorded in all the different systems, which is their objective. This causes double documentation instead of being a support in follow-up performance.
