This thesis will explore how the medium of film is treated in the recently published Swedish textbooks and how these textbooks take into account the four different aspects of Cineliteracy.Cineliteracy is a theory which advocates the necessity of students' increased cinematic knowledge by presenting the four skill areas that should be included when it comes to teaching film in school. The theory implies students´ analytical skills, contextual knowledge and knowledge of the film canon as well as the development of students' skills to produce films. Cineliteracy theory finds support both within Swedish National Agency for Education and in recent Swedish research.This study includes investigation of eight new textbooks, adapted to the criteria for the new Swedish curriculum 2011. The analysis will be limited to textbooks for the course Swedish 1, since it is mandatory regardless of the orientation of the student?s education..

This paper is about the different parts within the officers training that motivate the cadets to continue their employment within the armed forces after graduation, it also brings up the different parts that influences their motivation in a negative way. Six cadets from the 2011 class at the military academy at Karlberg have been interview in order to give their view on the following seven themes; reasons to take employment, collegiate attitude, comfort, study motivation, perceived education quality, the regiment and career. The responses have then been compared to the previous research at a cadet level which have been scarce. The result followed the previous findings about conscript?s motivation to continue their career and officers to end theirs.

Rapportens mål är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning de åtgärder som verksamhetsutövare planerar efter en allvarlig olycka eller tillbud vid Sevesoverksamheter faktiskt genomförs. 1999 infördes EU:s direktiv 96/82/EG om åtgärder för att förebygga och begränsa följderna av allvarliga olyckshändelser med farliga ämnen. Detta direktiv benämns Sevesodirektivet och är implementerat i svensk lagstiftning. Verksamheter som innehar en viss mängd farliga ämnen klassas som Sevesoverksamheter vilket innebär särkskilda regler för verksamheterna. Om en verksamhet är klassad som Sevesoverksamhet ska den beslutas vara farlig verksamhet enligt lag (2003:778) om skydd mot olyckor (LSO).

Syftet med studien har varit att ta reda på hur Aftonbladet och Dagens nyheter bevakat och berättat om Lundsbergs skola under åren 2011-2013. Frågorna som ställts har handlat om hur medierna berättat om Lundsbergs skola. Handling, karaktärer, skrivsätt samt skillnader och likheter i Aftonbladet och Dagens nyheters rapportering, har varit frågornas centrala punkt. Jag har i studien valt att se Lundsbergs skola som ett fall av skandaler eller så kallade ?mediedrev? i Sverige.

Syftet med denna studie är att utföra en kritisk diskursanalys av ett urval konstkritiska texter som behandlar utställningarna Paul McCarthy: Head Shop/Shop Head från 2006 och Nationalmuseums Lust & Last från 2011. Utställningarna exemplifierar det jag kallar för den provokativa konstens diskurs. Genom analyserna vill jag se hur ett urval kritiker mottagit utställningarna samt ge en bild av den provokativa konstens diskurs med dessa två utställningar som exempel..

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva, analysera och öka förståelsen för hur dagens pedagoger i förskolan upplever utomhusmiljöns betydelse i den pedagogiska verkamheten. Inför studien så studerades tidigare forskning och samt läroplanen för förskolan, Lpfö98 (Skolverket, 2011). Efter detta så genomfördes fyra kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra förskollärare aktiva inom olika förskolor i Norrland. Alla fyra förskollärare har helt olika förutsättningar när det kommer till utomhusmiljön. Utgångspunkten i tolkningen och analysen av intervjuerna har varit fenomenologi.

Unaccompanied minors who are fleeing and being sent way from their countries of origin are nothing new. In 2011, 12 225 unaccompanied minors where registered in The European Union, none undocumented minors included. Most of the minors are coming from Afghanistan and Somalia. The aim of this essay is to investigate how The European Union?s migration policies are applied in reality and how United Nation?s Convention on the Right of Children are put in practice by the member states of The European Union and Norway.

Post och telestyrelsen (PTS) har gett ett allmäntråd om att alla brevinkast ska ersättas med postfack från och med den 1 januari 2011. Med denna rekommendation kommer brevinkasten på dagens dörrar att bli överflödiga. Många kommer att vilja ta bort sitt brevinkast och ersätta det med en produkt som ger en tystare och säkrare miljö i hemmet.Detta examensarbete syftar till att finna en eller flera lämpliga lösningar för att ersätta brevinkasten på dörrarna. Denna lösning är tänkt att vara ett billigare alternativ för att lösa problemet, jämfört med att köpa en ny dörr.Olika metoder för att finna idéer har använts och flera alternativ framkom. Det gjordes utvärderingar för att finna den lösning som var mest lämplig för att lösa problemet.

Media has reported frequently about elder abuse in Sweden during the year of 2011. The authors have found an interest in elder abuse due to the attention about it and the law about the duty to report elder abuse, which is called lex Sarah. The aim was to investigate, due to quantitative method with surveys, the care givers tolerance to elder abuse, attitude and knowledge about lex Sarah. The result of the thesis was analyzed based on two theories, Lipsky?s street-level bureaucracy as well as Svensson?s, Johnsson?s and Laanemets? theory about knowledge.

We have produced a process mapping and from there developed a document management plan for the research service at the Labour Movement Archives and Library (ARAB) in Stockholm, Sweden. The project was conducted during five weeks in the spring of 2011 at ARAB and the resulting classification structure and document plan has been formulated and presented to the staff at a seminar. We found that the institution in some cases were suffering from an inadequate documentation in a number of the identified processes, and also in their records management and archiving. In this additional memorandum follows an analyzing discussion of activity-based document- and archive management, e-archives and process mapping. We have accordingly tried to standardize the process of research services and contribute to a more adequate document management within the institution.

The aim of this study is to investigate the view of literature that shines through in the Swedish curriculum for secondary school, Läroplan, examensmål och gymnasiegemensamma ämnen för gymnasieskola 2011. The idea is that this view of literature becomes visible when analyzing the curriculum?s ways of legitimating the teaching of literature and its relation to the use of a literary canon. The analysis compares the phrases from the curriculum regarding the teaching of literature and compares these phrases with the various literary visions that earlier scholars advocate. Based on these comparisons, discussions are raised about the pros and cons of the curriculum's ways of legitimating the teaching of literature and its relation to the use of a literary canon.

My essay deals with a problem in our society which, in my opinion, has been neglected. Even today in 2011, the quality of schools and preschools is extremely varied. This has been a problem for a long time and not nearly enough attention has been paid to it.In my essay I have tried to understand what it is that causes these differences in quality between preschools. With help from literature and research studies I have examined what quality in preschool really means.My starting point is an account of my own experience at the preschool where I currently work and a description of a study visit I made to another preschool which operates in a very different way to the one where I work. I wanted to investigate what the consequences are for children who grow up attending preschools of different quality.

Arbetet handlar om hur förskollärare arbetar med antalsuppfattning i förskoleklass och vad de utgår ifrån för material i detta arbete då deras läroplan Lgr 11 (Skolverket, 2011) inte har med något om antalsuppfattning. Förskoleklass är övergången mellan förskola och skola från hösten då eleven fyller sex år. Det är en frivillig skolform. Syftet med arbetet var att besvara följande frågeställningar: Hur arbetar lärare i förskoleklass med antalsuppfattning? Vilket material utgår lärarna från i sitt arbete med antalsuppfattning? Vi har använts oss av en kvalitativ undersökning.

In this Bachelor's thesis the result from a Delphi study regarding FRBR, performed by Yin Zhang and Athena Salaba in 2007 and published in 2009 ? What is next for Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records? A Delphi study ? is analyzed by qualitatively interviewing professionals active within the library and information science field in Sweden. The results are compared and possible deviations and adjustments are illuminated and discussed. The purpose of the thesis is to determine the topicality of the Delphi study in 2011 from a Swedish perspective. Conclusions made from the thesis shows that the main areas are still the same, but adjustments regarding the relative order of issues might be needed; primarily a shift of focus from theoretical to practical issues.

Jag har i detta arbete gjort en studie om vad de elever som går Omvårdnadsprogrammet vill göra efter sin utbildning. Detta har jag relaterat till den förstående gymnasiereformen, Gy 2011 och de förändringar denna kommer att innebära. Jag har gjort en enkätundersökning i årskurs tre på Omvårdnadsprogrammet för att ta reda på vad eleverna egentligen vill göra efter sin utbildning. Det visade sig i min undersökning att 81 % av eleverna troligtvis kommer att studera vidare direkt efter gymnasiet eller senare. 34 % av eleverna kommer att arbeta som undersköterskor direkt efter sin utbildning.
