Two elementary schools are now being built in Gråbo (in the municipality of Lerum),Röselidsskolan and Ljungviksskolan, which are both designed with solar thermalcollectors for the schools domestic water heating. During the summer while thelargest amount of solar heat can be generated, the activity hence the domestic wateruse in the schools are heavily reduced. Both schools are connected to the local districtheating system which makes it possible to use the solar collectors to deliver heat tothe district heating.The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the two Systems mentioned above and todetermine which system is more suitable to apply on a school. The building whichconditions were used for this evaluation is Röselidsskolan.A solar heating plant of each system type was dimensioned from the expected andknown conditions of the building. The purpose with the dimensioning was to makethe solar plants replace the ordinary energy source as much as possible.

A student at the Technical University in Jönköping was given an assignment from Falköping municipality. The assignment was to evaluate their IT Systems 'users' awareness of information security and even present suggestions for IT-Users to improve their information security within Falköping municipality.Falköping municipality consists today of seven administrations. The target groups for the study of the information security are a pilot group consisting of 30 IT Users and four different managers from various administrations within Falköping Municipality.The purpose of this work is mainly to indicate an understanding of the importance of the information security knowledge among IT Users in Falkopings municipality, mainly those who use their smartphones and tablets for work-related activities.This work aims to answer the following questions:? How wide is the awareness of information security among municipality's IT users?? How can information security improve among the municipality's IT users?Theories that work consists of are mainly what information security is, how it is handled and the threats and risks that may create problems for the municipality, basically when IT Users use their smart phones and tablets.The Work Implementation started with sending surveys to a pilot group of IT- system users and the student even interviewed four general managers working in Falköpings municipality. Both the questionnaires results and interviews results are presented in diagram and text.The result from both surveys and interviews was very positive and it shows that the municipality investigated IT-Users are very aware and have knowledge about information security, when they use their smart phones and tablets.

In order to reduce the price for, and improve the performance of automatic control Systems for magnetization of synchronus generators, the possibilities of using a PC based software PLC system, Programmable Logic Controller, has been investigated. The result is a system based on the CoDeSys software PLC with runtime environment from 3S-Software, communicating with external units via Modbus fieldbus. The energy usage contributes to a big part of it, by its emission of carbon dioxide. När man på BAE Systems Hägglunds AB konstruerar en ny stol till ett fordon så har man tidigare individanpassat stolarna utefter dess position. Målet med detta examensarbete var, istället för att individanpassa en stol, konstruera en stol som går att använda på flera positioner i flera fordon. Ursprungstanken var att konstruera en stol som skulle fungera att användas i tre stycken Hägglundsfordon, Armadillo, Bvs10 och Cv90, där stolen skulle fungera på förarplats i Cv90 och Bvs10 samt som chef- och skyttestol i Armadillo och Cv90. Eftersom Hägglunds tillverkar fordon med inriktning mot försvarsindustrin medför det att stolarna sitter i fordon som idag används i krigsdrabbade områden världen över. Detta bidrar i sin tur att kraven på stolarna blir mycket höga.

IT is often seen as a solution to many problems concerning effectiveness in organizations. Information Systems within the healthcare sector is often viewed as medical devices rather than just Systems or services. These medical devices are thoroughly regulated by laws, standards and certifications. In this study I participated in an innovative project that aimed to bring new life and use to the old fashioned patient journal by giving it a visual representation through the use of an avatar.
