The purpose of this project is to study Partab's material distribution process, furthermore identify critical problem areas within the company. Further the aim is to provide suggestions to new work procedures regarding material distribution and related processes. Appropriate literature has been used as a support in this process. The main goal of a commercial company is to generate cash flow, and maximize the return on investment. Streamlining material supply and the use of material is a part of this process. Virum and Persson define logistics as: "Logistics is the approach and principles founding the process of planning, development, coordination, organisation, management, and control of material distribution from supplier to user".

The thesis has been written as a part of the Bachelor degree in Industrial engineering and management at the School of Engineering in Jönköping. The work is focused on the part of Husqvarna AB?s supply chain that is associated with the lorry transports to Italy. Husqvarna AB has approximately ten Italian customers, whose delivery patterns have been studied from January 2007 to July 2008. Some of the customers have a low delivery frequency and small amounts of goods that they therefore have not been fully analyzed in this report.

Den 1 juli 2007 infördes en ny lag till byggbranschen som innebär att handel av byggtjänster numera ska behandlas med omvänd skattskyldighet. Därav ska inte längre säljare av byggtjänster redovisa moms på sina utgående fakturor utan säljaren ska redovisa både in- och utgående moms. Orsaken bakom laginförandet är den mängd momsfusk som uppmärksammats där säljare av byggtjänster fått inbetalt moms för sina tjänster men inte redovisat den vidare till Skatteverket utan behållt den i egen ficka. Byggbranschen i Sverige idag lider av alltför höga byggkostnader. Kostnaden för byggmaterial stiger fortare än både lönehöjningarna och konsumentprisindex. Detta problem har NCC uppmärksammat och de har satt upp ett mål som går ut på att varje år fram till år 2012 sänka produktionskostnaderna med 5 %. En stor del av produktionskostnaderna är inköpsrelaterade och stora resurser läggs på besparingar i inköpsarbetet för att nå detta mål. Detta examensarbete fokuserar på inköpsarbetet på NCCs byggarbetsplatser och på hanteringen av tre av de största ramavtalen som NCC knutit med leverantörer av förnödenheter och byggmaterial: Ahlsell AB, Beijer Byggmaterial AB samt Ramirent AB.

Feed intake in dairy cows is regulated by a variety of factors influencing hunger and satiety. One of the regulation systems includes the short chain fatty acids produced during feed degradation in the rumen. Starch can be digested either in the rumen where short chain fatty acids are produced or in the small intestine where glucose is the end product. Since glucose does not have the same effect on satiety that short chain fatty acids have, the site of starch digestion might be an important factor that affects feed intake and milk production. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of site of starch digestion on feeding behaviour (feed intake, consumption time, and eating frequency) and milk production. Because feeding behaviour is closely connected to the cows? environment, the study also included observations of behaviour. Three different feed rations were compared.

Tre företag inom Stockholmsområdet studerades gällande deras respektive arbetssätt när det kommer till lagerstyrning. Det studieobjekten har gemensamt är att de lagerför livsmedel; produkter med begränsad hållbarhet.Studien tar reda på vilket sätt företag, som lagrar livsmedel, arbetar med lagerstyrning samt vilken eller vilka faktorer som ses avgörande för lagerstyrningens effektivitet.

The substitute is of most part Internet based services from where you can watch movie online or download film legally as well as illegally.These different sorts of new competitors or substitutes become a big threat on the traditional rental movie stores as these substitutes can offer the same prices or even lower.With these new ways of watching film this will on turn change the behaviours of the customers that likes to watch movies. The problem for the traditional rental movie stores is trying to keep their existing customers and try keeping them loyal to their store, so that they won?t loose them to the competitors and substitutes.

The consumption levels in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway have been rising fo r the last decade. Even after the financial crisis of 2008, consumption levels continued their upward trend, regardless of the recession. The explanation seems to be, at least partly, that households tends to increase their debt ratio in order to continue the same standard of living as before in terms of consumption. It is clear, based of our results, that there is a connection between increased consumption and debt ratio for households. And the consequences of allowing loans to finance a sustained or increasing consumption may ultimately be difficult to manage.

The purpose of the study is to highlight the issue of student loans securitization, and assure the importance and benefits that could be realized by performing such a transaction. The methodology is a case study for The National Board of Student Aid. It is a qualitative study, mainly using interviews, literature and scientific articles. By using this information we construct a securitization transaction structure ?CSN 2006-1?, and conduct a cost/benefit analysis.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur bioteknikföretag i Sverige bättre kan spegla sitt sanna aktievärde genom att ta reda på huruvida det finns en skillnad mellan ett fallföretags sanna aktievärde och marknadens prissättning på aktien samt lägga fram förslag på hur detta gap kan minskas. Mot bakgrund av de förutsättningar och antaganden som ges visar det sig att det företag vi använde oss av i undersökningen hade ett marknadsvärde som låg under dess sanna aktievärde, det var således lågt värderat. Analysen visar att detta gap främst beror på en informationsasymmetri och att företag i denna situation börsläppa mer information än vad som sker idag..

Debatten om svenska matpriser har varit en stark motor för den utveckling av dagligvaruhandeln som konsumenterna möter idag. Extrem lågpriskonkurrens, en ökad andel av detaljisters egna varumärken i butik samt en hög koncentration av detaljistledet, är några av de effekter som delvis kan förklaras av allmänhetens krav på sänkta matpriser. Vi har noterat att ledande varumärken såsom Kellogg?s och Gillette, uteslutits från detaljisternas sortiment som ett resultat av misslyckade förhandlingar rörande inköpspris. Detta kan även ses som ett tecken på att den en gång så starke leverantören har fått reducerad förhandlingsstyrka.
