Alkoholvanor inom det gymnasiala fordonsprogrammet

The consumption of alcohol in Sweden has increased considerably within recent years. Among youths there has been a tendency towards drinking more frequently and increased volumes. Alcohol habits among Students on the high schools auto mechanic line has been given a questionnaire to examine their experience of the immediate after effect of alcohol and how et effects their situation in school. It has been proven that participating Students are drinking alcohol more frequently than the average among Swedish high school Students and girls more often than boys. The general experiences of alcohol after effect are predominantly negative both physically and psychologically, but the Students are not concerned of their alcohol habits having an effect on their school work..

The purpose of this studie was to use qualitative methods to find out how teachers perceive what a good classroom environment means for Students with ADHD. Know the teachers what to do with the physical environment for Students with ADHD? My research questions I wanted to answer was how support or hinder classroom environment children who have ADHD? What can educators how classroom environment to be adapted for Students with ADHD? I have presented three different themes based on my interviews, Structure / classroom environment, placement and traditional teachings. Has compiled my answers from informants and analyzed the responses by prior research and theory. The results show that teachers have good insight into what is good for Students with ADHD, but what is it that goes wrong?.

IKT för elever med ADHD : Nytta eller nöje?

The aim with this study was to see how a few teachers with experience of young Students with ADHD looks upon the need of special support through ICT and from which perspective of special needs education the support is formed.I related the informants? answers about their views on special needs support based on a relational and categorical perspective and came to the conclusion that all of the informants uses a bit of both depending on each individual Students needs. Therefor I could see that the dilemma perspective is current in schools today. The most important need for the Students with ADHD in general is, according to the informants, structure and routine.The result from this study also shows that general knowledge about ICT is lacking and needs to increase. This could in most cases be explained by the schools economic resources as that partly prevent purchase of new and more equipment but also forces the school to keep larger groups of Students in each class.

Att förstärka med svenskan : En kvalitativ studie kring pedagogers syn på engelskundervisningen för elever med annat modersmål än svenska i årskurs 1

English is an international and global language that Students, regardless of mother tongue, encounter in their everyday lives. In Sweden, Students are introduced to English teaching in year 1, 2 or 3, and in some cases, year 4. English teaching can sometimes be problematic when the language of instruction often consists of Swedish, which for second language Students becomes a challenge to acquire new skills in a week language.The study aims to examine, with a qualitative study, how pedagogues plan and implements English teaching in first grade with Students whose mother tongue are other than Swedish. Further, the aim was to examine how pedagogues say they relate to the fact that second language pupils participating in English lessons and if they think it affects their English teaching.The conclusions is that the pedagogues has probably not been problematized the phenomenon examined and say they do not adapt their teaching. In the interviews reveals information about the teaching method which, in my opinion, indicates that, unconsciously, adapting their teaching when they have second language Students.

This case study attempts to examine how Students of Religionswissenschaft at Södertörns University reflect about their philosophy of life and if their studies have some impact on their tendency to reflect. Also what aspects the Students tend to reflect over will be investigated. In this study the term ?philosophy of life? includes humans thought and conceptions of the world and their outlook on mankind. To answer these question an interview study with 6 Students took place, and the transcriptions produced 5 categories; ?The philosophy of life, to believe or not believe?, ?Development of concepts?, ?Outlook on mankind?, ?The founding of meaning? and ?Understanding and progress?.

In Sweden it is of major concern to the society that every individual get the same possibilities to be able to complete and affect their education. Despite this some Students with a foreign background have difficulties when it comes to homework?s. This is contrary to the goals that the government strives for, which is a more just society. Journalistik i ett nytt medium : En studie av hur journaliststudenter på två universitet i Sverige använder Twitter

The aim of this study was to find out how journalism Students at two universities in Sweden, Gothenburg University and Linnaeus University in Kalmar, use the social networking service Twitter. We were primarily interested in whether the Students are using Twitter as a journalistic tool, which includes gathering, production and distribution of material. The study focused on journalism Students because they soon will enter the working life and therefore can provide an indication of whether Twitter is a part of the future of journalism. We have used theories of mass communication to describe the development in the area and explore how journalism has adapted to this change. The study was conducted in the form of a survey in which the Students answered questions about how they use Twitter and what they think about the social networking service.

En studie om användning av lärplattor i den första läs- och skrivinlärningen inom IT-satsningen ?en-till-en?

This study was aimed to examine what happened when a municipality in Sweden invested in ICT. The purpose of this study was also to find out how the change of process with ICT investment was expressed the need for more knowledge. This was called ?one-to-one? with the goal that all Students would have their own computer during their years in school.Teachers have been interviewed and observed about how they work with ipads during reading and writing lessons. The teachers in this study said that they need more knowledge to improve their everyday work with ipads.

Aim The purpose of this research is to study the need and the importance of marks in secondary school. The reason is to find out the Students' perception of how they are motivated. Furthermore, how Students experience the assessment and grading in physical education.What attitudes do Students have towards the mark in the subject physical education in 6th and 9th grade, also how does SOC affect their attitudes towards marks?What kind of motivational significance do marks in physical education have in 6th and 9th grade based on their SOC?How do the Students experience the assessment in grading in 6th and 9th grade based on their SOC?Method The data was collected with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of four classes from 6th grade and five classes from 9th grade; all from two different schools in the county of Stockholm.

This study is based on interviews with six Students from Stockholm that have shared their feelings/opinions about how they experience their identity as a student. The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine how the identity of Students is constructed but also how the post modern society affects the life that the Students are living. With a higher demand on education and responsibility of making the right decisions, the student?s main concern is not only her studies, but also the goal to succeed in her life.

IT och flerspråkighet i gymnasieskolan

The purpose of the study is to examine the multilingual student?s use of IT in school.The study also highlights the teacher?s view of development and how they use IT in their own teaching.A qualitative approach study was conducted to acquire a deeper understanding of Students' language learning by using IT. In the study, it was assumed socio-cultural perspective in which learning takes place through interaction with others.The result shows that multilingual Students have difficulty understanding information available on the internet and they are either waiting to meet a teacher to get a clearer picture of what to do or doing tasks even though in some cases misunderstand the task. Language teachers also confirm student?s impression and at the same time express the concern that Students are reading less.This study shows that there may be correlation between Students' learning motivation and an understanding of instructions online.

Attityd, Närvaro & Prestation : En kvalitativ studie om lärares och elevers uppfattningar av bedömning och betygsättning i Idrott och hälsa A

The purposeof this survey is to study both teachers and Students view regarding theevaluation and grading in the subject Physical Education A. In order to meetthe purpose, the survey is executed by focusing on three main researchquestions: What is the teachers and Students notion of the goals of the subjectand the course plan? Which knowledge is evaluated in the subject, according toteachers and Students? Which factors, believe teachers and Students, affect theevaluation? The results of the survey is established by qualitative interviewsthat has been conducted with four teachers and five Students in two schoolslocated in a medium ? sized city in the south east of Sweden.The resultsof the survey indicate that not only teachers, but also Students consider thecourse plan and the grading criterias is relatively unclear and interpretablein a lot of different ways. Teachers and Students also states the theoreticaland practical moments are equally important when evaluating. Further, theystate that knowledge in ergonomics, exercises theory, diets, swimming andleadership skills are important knowledge in the subject.

Kvinnliga studenters alkoholvanor : På Linnéuniversitetet i Kalmar

As the title reveals this is a study of female college Students alcohol habits in Kalmar,Sweden. During the spring of 2012 a total of 118 female Students at Linnaeus universityanswered a survey about their alcohol habits. The survey reveled that as many as 67%percent of the answering female Students (according to Audit) have risky drinking habits.The drinking habits are explained using Albert Banduras social learning theory in contextto the Scandinavian drinking pattern. The study concludes that female alcohol habits needeven further research. Furthermore the study shows that student initiation have an impacton the female drinking habits and that expectations of that Students drink are to some extentimportant to the development of hazardous drinking habits..

Möten med historia : En intervjustudie om hur åtta elever ur årskurs nio möter historia i sin vardag utanför skolan

The main purpose of this paper is to examine how Students in school year nine in the Swedish school come in contact with history outside of the school context. The paper also focuses on, if and how the Students consider the contact with history as something different than, or similar to the history education that takes place during school hours, the student´s interest in history will also be examined. To gather the student?s opinions on these subjects, I have done interviews with eight Students divided into two groups, with one group consisting of four girls and one group with two boys and two girls. The interviews took place at the Students school located in a smaller city in Värmlands län, Sweden.

En framtid som sjöbefäl : Sjöbefälsstudenters syn på arbetet

The purpose of this study is to highlight the maritime Students' views on and visions for their future career. The results will be used by maritime academies, ship owners and unions to develop their activities in the desired direction and work together for a well-functioning labour market in shipping in the future. To determine the Students? views and visions, interviews were conducted with graduating Students at the maritime academies in Sweden. The results show that the reduced Swedish merchant fleet worries Students, but that the majority is positive about finding a job after graduation.
