Syftet med studien var att undersöka om visualiseringsträning kan minska nivån av upplevd stress hos kampsportare. I studien deltog 27 atleter (16-41 år) som var medlemmar i en utvald kampsportsförening lokaliserad i sydvästra Sverige. Deltagarna randomiserades in i en experimentgrupp och en kontrollgrupp där experimentgruppen erbjöds att vid tre tillfällen delta i visualiseringsträning. Det instrument som tillämpades i denna studie var K10 testet av Kessler et al. (2002) som mäter stressupplevelsen hos individer sett ur ett generellt hälsoperspektiv.

Målet med studien är att genom ett transdiagnostiskt perspektivförklara hur stress i skolan leder fram till depressiva symptom. Ifokus är ungdomar i 13-15 års ålder där jag undersöker omungdomars upprepade negativa tankar verkar som mediatorer ellerkopplingar mellan stress (i skolan, samt i relationer med kamrateroch lärare i skolan) och depressiva symptom. För ändamåletanvänds data från en pågående studie vid Örebro Universitet omvälmående bland årskurs 7 och 8 elever och jag genomför entvärsnittsanalys. Medierinsanalyser visade att ungdomarsupprepade negativa tankar förklarar mycket av association mellanstress i skolan och depressiva symptom. Slutsatsen för denna studieär att för att påverka ungdomars depressiva symptom behöver viidentifiera de sätt som ungdomar ser på sig själva och sin omvärld..

AbstractThe aim of this study is to highlight the professional?s perspectives and work with young girls who have eating disorder anorexia nervousa. We assume a social constructivist perspective where the professional?s interpretations and perspectives on the issue anorexia considered. The study is based on a qualitative analysis of interviews with seven professionals in the areas of work, social services, school counselor, school nurse, anorexia unit and child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP).From a thematic analysis of the interviews, three themes emerged.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur skolkuratorer i svenska grundskolan upplever sin arbetssituation. För att ta reda på detta har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ metod där vi intervjuat fyra skolkuratorer som alla är verksamma i ett område i Mellansverige. Vi valde att i intervjun fokusera på upplevelsen av krav, kontroll och stöd utifrån krav-kontroll-stödmodellen som teoretisk utgångspunkt. Denna modell anses kunna förklara vilka kombinationer av krav, kontroll och stöd som bidrar till en stressig arbetssituation samt vilka kombinationer som motverkar en stressig arbetssituation. Resultaten i denna studie visar att skolkuratorer upplever höga krav i form av en hög arbetsbörda vilket är det som bidrar till stress.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate if there was a difference in the tear film?s osmolarity before and after drinking coffee. 'Method: All subjects in this study were asked to fill in a questionnaire to diagnose factors in their subjective symptoms, the questionnaire TERTC-DEQ. The subjects with a total graduated points of over 17 were not allowed to participate in the further measurements. In the study there was a total amount of 38 subjects, were 5 participated twice for both measurements, coffee and water.

Background: Quality of life is a concept of individual meaning which is perceived differently depending on the person experiencing it. To have a chronic disease in the lung, such as asthma, has an effect on the quality of life. Asthma affects people of all ages. It is a disease that causes a constriction in the patients? airways which leads to a feeling of suffocation which in turn produces a feeling of anxiety.Aim: The purpose is to illuminate which factors affect the quality of life in adult patients with asthma.Method: This is a literary review based on ten articles, both quantitative and qualitative, from four different continents.

Stress är en riskfaktor och en fråga som blivit alltmer aktuell för barnhälsovården då forskningen ser att vuxna och barn kan påverkas negativt till ohälsa. Vanligt förekommande frågor på BVC är de som handlar om föräldrars stress och barns sömnproblem och det är därför angeläget att fördjupa sig i dessa frågor. I den här uppsatsen undersöks eventuella samband mellan föräldrastress och barns sömnproblem med hjälp av en tvärsnittstudie där föräldrar besvarade enkätfrågor. Resultatet visade ett samband mellan föräldrastress orsakat av problem i parrelation och barns sömnsvårighet. Däremot fanns inget belägg i det totala resultatet för något samband mellan barns sömnsvårigheter och stress i föräldraskap.

The Swedish social insurance agency provides financial support for families and children, but also for people with work injury, illness and at old age. During 2012 they saw the amount of notifications of insurance increasing in Sweden, which is a development that cost our society a great deal of money. With the aim to pursue a sustainable development I have therefore devoted this project to wellness and stress management within preschool.The employees of preschool are often dealing with a lot of stress, due to the big groups of children that causes high noise and sound levels. The high noise and sound levels is a contributor to stress which additionally can damage the health and cause impaired hearing loss. About half of the people around their forties until the age of retirement have difficulties understanding speech in large groups.The purpose of this project has been to investigate the causes of negative stress for my target group, women between 30-60 years old who works in preschool.

Our purpose was to investigate which readiness, different sectors in a minor city has to meet honour-related problems. We wanted to investigate how they manage honour-related problems and how the co-operation in these cases is between different authorities. Our questions at issue were: Which knowledge's, experiences there are about the culture of honour, which resources has the authorities and how is the co-operation between different organisations work?We have collected present documentation and research about the subject. We made eight quality interviews with different persons within professions, as we understood, came in contact with cultures of honour.

This report is written in cooperation with Skanska Sverige Hus Väst and it is discussing the role of site managers within the company. The report will bring up the demands that is put upon site managers and will also discuss stress related problems and how to change and develop the role as a site manager.We came up with three conclusions in this report. We believe that Skanska could develop VSAA to make it easier to use for site managers. We also believe that a further development of the project engineer is of great value, to give him or her greater responsibilities. The last conclusion is to change the responsibilities between the site manager and the production manager, to give the production manager a greater responsibility in the production..

Det finns lagar och föreskrifter som måste följas för att en god arbetsmiljö och hög vårdkvalitet skall kunna uppfyllas, trots det finns det brister inom hälso- och sjukvårdens verksamhet. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur vårdkvalitet påverkas av hög arbetsbelastning och stress hos sjuksköterskan. Litteratursökning gjordes i PubMed, Cinahl och Psyc-INFO.

During the autumn of 2007 I carried out an investigation within the bank and finance Sector. The aim of the investigation was to see how informal aspects could be understood in relation to equality within Bank AB? The main question was: Which are the obstacles and opportunities for equality within Bank AB? To answer the main question I asked the following questions to the material: Are there any gender related different within the organization? How are men and women represented within the internal magazine? Which are the conceptions related to sex/gender within the organization? The investigation is based on a survey, the internal magazine was investigated and finally interviews took place. Throughout the investigation I used organization theory in a gender perspective. With the gender organization theory I examined concepts as structures, leadership, symbolism and changes associated with equality.

This work is intended primarily for animal nurses/veterinary technicians and describe parts of the rabbits digestive tract, causes of gastrointestinal disease, symptoms, diagnosis, general care of rabbits with gastrointestinal disease and how to prevent that gastrointestinal illness occur. The work is largely based on literature studies but also on a questionnaire sent out to rabbit owners to get answers on how they generally hold and care of rabbits, which gastrointestinal diseases that are most common, how owners care for their animals at home during illness and to examine if the owners think that the knowledge of this subject is good at his veterinarian/clinic.The purpose of this work is to improve the skills of animal nurses but also to improve the skills of owners through competent advice from animal nurses.The result show that gastrointestinal disease often is caused due to improper feeding and care of rabbits and therefore is advices from animal nurses an important part of preventive care. Animal nurses are also an important part of treatment of rabbits with gastrointestinal disease when supportive care as fluid therapy, supportive feeding and supply of a stress free environment is important for the animals to recover..

Spänningsreglering är något som är viktigt för den psykiska hälsan och något som kan användas för att individen skall kunna slappna av så att stressen inte skall bli skadlig. Idrottslärare skall ge gymnasieelever redskap till att hantera stress. Kan då natur och friluftsliv vara en sorts form av spänningsreglerande redskap? Denna studies syfte är att undersöka om elever på gymnasiet som ofta bedriver friluftsliv eller vistas i naturen upplever mindre stress i skolan än gymnasielever som mindre frekvent bedriver friluftsliv eller vistas i naturen samt att undersöka gymnasieelevers känslor förknippade med vistelse i natur eller friluftsliv.

Höga nivåer av stress bland sjuksköterskestudenter och medicinstuderande har visats sig påverka minne, koncentration samt problemlösningsförmåga, vilket i sin tur leder till försämrad inlärning och försämrade studieresultat. Studien syftade till att undersöka upplevelser av stress hos fysioterapeutstudenter och uppfattningen om hur denna stress kan påverka studier och framtida yrkesliv.
