Syftet med det här arbetet är att undersöka barn och stress i förskolan. Vi har inriktat oss på att se hur strukturen i förskolan påverkar barns stress. Det intresserar oss att se om man kan undersöka om barn i förskolan är stressade och ifall det har någon koppling till hur förskolan struktureras upp. En undersökning om hur förskolan är organiserad när det kommer till miljö, aktiviteter, hur uppdelningen av barn och personal ser ut samt hur dagarna planeras upp i förskolan kommer även att presenteras. Vi har med hjälp av observationer på fyra förskolor samt intervjuer med fyra förskollärare försökt undersöka hur förskolans struktur ser ut och hur den påverkar barnen.

Learning words have shown to be a very crucial part of learning a second language and the one most important factor to make pupils with Swedish as a second language succeed in school. To make sure that all pupils get the right conditions to learn from all subjects and their entire content a wide vocabulary is necessary. Even so it is found that there are shortcomings regarding this kind of teaching in Swedish schools.Through interviews and observations of two teachers that teach pupils with Swedish as a second language, and also with a short reading test for the pupils, the possible strategies that these teachers use for learning words have been studied. The result shows that the teachers are using several strategies and that they are actively working with transmitting these to the pupils, but there are some areas that need developing..

Att ständigt vara tillgänglig och hantera inkommande e-post under en arbetsdag kan skapaupplevelse av stress. Syftet med studien var att se om skattningen av stressen minskade om enprocedur som liknar traditionell postmottagning tillämpades. Studien genomfördes som ettexperiment på en IT-avdelning. Deltagarna delades upp i en kontrollgrupp som arbetade somvanligt med sin e-post och en försöksgrupp som arbetade enligt instruktion. Studien pågickunder 8 veckor och stressmätning genomfördes vid tre tillfällen, innan start av experimentet,efter 4 veckor och efter ytterligare 4 veckor.

Allt fler kvinnor söker sig till rektorsyrket. Medan yrket har blivit mer kvinnodominerat har även arbetsvillkoren blivit hårdare. Långa dagar med mycket oförutsedda arbetsuppgifter gör rektorsyrket till ett tungt arbete. Studier visar att det fortfarande är kvinnan som tar hand om det mesta i hemarbetet. Tuffa arbetsvillkor och mycket ansvar i hemmet kan leda till långvarig stress.

Ekonomiska styrsystem används för att kontrollera anställdas prestationer, men att utöva kontroll har dock visat sig öka risken för stress hos anställda. Arbetsrelaterad stress utgör problem för organisationer då det kan leda till ökade kostnader i form av ökad frånvaro och försämrade prestationer. För att förklara arbetsrelaterad stress har stressorerna krav, kontroll och socialt stöd fått störst genomslagskraft. Stressorer är faktorer i omgivningen som kan öka eller minska stressreaktioner hos individer. Syftet med studien är att förklara hur ekonomiska styrsystem påverkar stressorer.

The aim of the study is on basis of Peters and Waterman?s factor of success, to examine the successful companies, Ericsson and Huawei, and to analyze the R&D and positioning strategies of the companies.To accomplish the study we have used a case study using interviews and annual reports to collect data. Three persons have been interviewed, two from Ericsson and one from Huawei. All annual reports from the year 2004 until 2011 have been reviewed.Our finding is that Ericsson and Huawei do not, according to Peters and Waterman?s model, fulfill all factors of success and their R&D strategy varies depending on the situation and which knowledge the company already possesses and needs.

Stress and time pressure is more present in todays labor markets. In financial markets a securities broker is forced to take decisions on investments under high cognitive load and under extreme time pressure. The research of decision under risk gained new ground with the development of the prospect theory and gave us new insights to the decision making of men. Prospect theory has shown that people are risk seekers when dealing with loss decisions and risk avert when dealing with profit decisions. The value function are defined over gains and losses.

In this multistudy the aim was to measure the effect of mindfulness and yoga in negative stress. Is it possible for yoga and mindfulness to increase awareness and acceptance to inner and outher circumstances? Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) has shown good results in how to cope with negative stress and how to stay calm in a stressful envirorment. The qualitative study where Visby Yoga Center and Stockholm Yoga Shakti attended in a survey. Correlation showed no relationship between stress and mindfulness and no significant value, n=20, Cohens d=0,16.

Workers are more demanding than ever and stay a shorter amount of time within the same organization. For this reason we wanted to look further into how organizations work with motivation in order to create success in Knowledge Intensive Firms. The complexity of knowledge workers formed the base for our interest within the subject. The purpose of our thesis is to reflect upon what is written about the motivational effects of recruitment and reward strategies in Knowledge Intensive Firms. Further our essay is based on an abductive advocacy.

Ordet stress har i dagens samhälle många olika betydelser och kan användas till att beskriva många olika tillstånd, både negativa och positiva, genom denna uppsats kan man se att stressen i samhället har ökat och även att den har krypigt neråt i åldrarna. Detta har resulterat i att antalet elever som lider av oro, ångest, magont, huvudvärk, trötthet, yrsel m.m. har mer än fördubblats. Dessa ohälsosamma tillstånd är ett resultat av vårt samhälle, alltså ett resultat av långvarig eller negativ stress. Genom denna uppetats kommer även frågan om hjälp och återhämtning att behandlas, vilken hjälp kan de elever få som lider av stress och vad innebär återhämtning och varför är den så viktig för att vi ska må bra.Syftet med denna uppsats är alltså att ta reda på vad det är med skolan som gör att eleverna känner sig stressade och även vilken hjälp skolan erbjuder de elever som lider av stress.

We have 3G on the doorstep but nothing seems to attract ordinary people to this technology. To attract the mass market the telecom industry must show something beyond high bit rates. They must show how ordinary people can take advantage of this new technology. This is done by showing the possibilities of the new technology and by demonstrating applications that it will handle. The telecom industry must convince the telecom operators to invest in this technology and the only thing that matters to them is how much revenue they can make by adopting the upcoming technology.

This bachelor thesis in business economics raises the topic about Corporate Responsibility (CR), this topic is currently being discussed in a variety of channels and today an increasing number of companies are involved in corporate responsibility. How do Skanska work with sustainability and why are they doing this? It is also important to see the results of the work with sustainability will lead to. We will go into more depth in one of Skanska's projects, project M25, to investigate the CR strategies they use and see how they actually work with sustainability. The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze how and why Skanska is working to implement CR policies in their operations and more specifically from the M25 project in order to achieve sustainable business development.

The focus of this research is to investigate how the client's emotions can affect the social worker and how the social worker manages these feelings in order to make the right decisions. We have used a qualitative approach in our investigation. We have interviewed six social workers at social welfare bureaux in southern Sweden. Our theories are ?Nai?ve Theory? and ?Affect Theory?.

In the digitized world many organizations experience a large flow of information. To sort and manage all the information can be difficult. Individuals may experience a phenomenon called ?Information Overload?, due to the fact that the information flow is too extensive. There are various reasons why individuals are affected by this phenomenon.

This diploma work project is a product development project which purpose is to redesign a braking system for a walking frame. The system that was developed diverges the force from the user to braking power, and includes a service brake as well as a parking brake. The most important components of the system are a grip handle on where the user holds on to and a braking handle on which the user operates the brake from. The system also includes a power transmission component, braking package and other mechanical components. All of the components wasn?t developed in this project, several off them has been reused from the existing system.This product has been developed to meet the requirements and standards presented from the principal, Ahlberg Leber.
