Suicidal patients? feelings and experiences of the meeting with nursing staff in residential psychiatric care
Background: Suicidal patients feelings and experiences of the psychiatric service can be a decisive moment of the following treatment. Although suicide is a common problem all over the world we know very little about the feelings that the patients are feeling in residential psychiatric care. Purpose: The aim of this litterature studie was to describe suicidal patients feelings and experiences of the psychiatric service. Method: Literature study was conducted through a search of articles in different databases. The data has been done as an overview and the data has been analysed with content analysis.
Kommunens arbete med hållbarhet och mobilitet
Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur Karlskrona kommun skulle
betygsättas utifrån Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan verktyget ADVANCE. Studien
utgår framförallt ifrån forskningsförhållningssättet fallstudier, som
framförallt har genomförts med hjälp av metoderna litteraturstudier samt
ADVANCE. Litteraturstudierna har framförallt bestått av de strategier
Karlskrona kommun har antagit angående dess mobilitetsplanering och ADVANCE har
använts som ett verktyg för
att kunna upptäcka de positiva och negativa effekter dessa strategier har för
kommunen.
Utifrån denna fallstudie, samt genom diskussioner med Lars Olofsson
(trafiknämnden, Karlskrona kommun), analyseras de resultat som verktyget
ADVANCE visar upp, i dessa analyser ges även exempel på lösningar som
Karlskrona kommun skulle kunna
använda sig av för att kunna förbättra sin nuvarande
mobilitetsstrategi.

The Russian operation on the Crimean peninsula has been referred to as a victory enabled by the operationalization of the concept of New Generation Warfare. According to some military theorists, this concept and its operationalization cannot be characterized in terms of the traditional wars waged up to this point. It is, however, also argued that this new generation of warfare is primarily a new approach to strategy, a new way of applying traditional methods to achieve political goals. The purpose of this study is to discern whether Russia employed strategic deception in its operation in Crimea and if this is the case; what methods and principles were used and if these can be explained using a traditional view of deception. och några allmänt tillgängliga attack verktyg.
Syftet med uppsatsen är att försöka fastställa hur säkert Bluetooth är i dagens
läge. Bluetooth har länge varit tillgängligt för att utbyta data över korta
avstånd. Därför har man valt att implementera det i kommunikationsenheter som
mobiltelefoner och laptops med mera. Det har funnits en debatt om hur säkert
Bluetooth är. För att kunna genomföra denna undersökning så har vi satt oss in
i hur Bluetooth fungerar, vilka allmänt tillgängliga attacker och
implementationer av dessa, som finns.

The purpose of this thesis was to illuminate and create a deeper understanding of a reputation?s value during crisis in business environment. We aimed to investigate how companies and organizations build up their reputation to prevent crises and how reputation affects the outcomes of a crisis. The theoretical section is based on various scientific articles. A case study was conducted based on interviews with two respondents from two different companies and organizations.
Bellman Marknadsföring : Marknadspotential och förslag till lanseringsplan
This Master thesis was written in collaboration with the Kalmar-based consulting company Sederkvist Kommunikation. The purpose was to explore the market potential for Sederkvist Kommunikations new software Bellman Marketing. Based on these results a launch plan was created and advoice were given to Sederkvist Kommunikation as to how their new administrative tool could be introduced on the market. Data were collected through semi-structured telephone interviews. The population was Swedish so called Gazelle-companies (growth-companies listed yearly by the business newspaper Dagens Industri) and totally 27 units were examined.
Syns man inte, finns man inte: En kvantitativ studie om PR och reklams relativa effektivitet
When working with market communications it is important that ones brand is noticed and remembered, for which the marketer has many tools at hand. This study compares the communicative effects of PR and paid advertisement on consumers, in response to the underlying purpose to provide a theoretical framework for better understanding the relative effects of the two tools. In the struggle for consumers? attention we find ads to be a tool to achieve wider brand knowledge, whilst PR is rewarded more extensive elaboration once noticed. The study also affirms the causal link between communication credibility, attitude toward the communication and brand attitude.

The aim of this thesis is to study perceptions around the freedom of movement of workers within the EU before and after its enlargement in 2004, both on a Swedish and a European level. I have chosen to conduct my study using a discourse analysis as a structure for my theory and method. Theories based on previous research have also been used. My material consists of Communications from the European Commission, Swedish Command Papers as well as a research report. One of the main findings is that at a Swedish level, there is concern about how the free movement of workers will affect the labour market and welfare system.

Background: The strategic importance of purchasing departments is increasing, yet supply risks are rather uncharted. The procurement of coffee involves supply risks and the purchaser needs to be able to handle these to enable the roasting-house to produce coffee as specified. Purpose: To chart risks in connection with the procurement of coffee as well as the possibilities of handling these. The thesis also examines if general risk management theories are applicable on the supply risk present within Swedish roasting-houses and can become an integral partof the purchasing process. Method: A qualitative case study of the purchasing process of Swedish roasting- houses.

In this Bachelor Thesis (20 p.), we present the history and development of
"Intelligent Houses", and most important- explore some of the future
possibilities in this area.
The project has been carried out through an interdisciplinary cooperation
between three different educations at the Blekinge Institute of Technology.
By conducting a dialogue with various actors with different professions, we
have been trying to identify needs within the concept of "Intelligent Houses",
were the end user is not only the tenant or homeowner.
Through Participatory Design methods, such as a Future Workshop, we have
brought the users together to discuss their own and each others needs and
hindrances in their respective work practice, and how intelligent house
technology could improve their work conditions.
We have also been testing a highly sophisticated
CO/CO2/Moisture/Temperature/Enthalpy multi-sensor & controller, originally
developed for regulating indoor climate systems.
Based on the needs we have found in our fieldwork, we have been looking at
possibilities to make multi user solutions with the sensor..

To live in a relationship demands hard work with good communications, mutual respect, compromises, empathy and an understanding of your partners feelings and needs. For a person with ADHD all of this can cause difficulties and create a strained relationship, but it can also mean a relationship with thrills, adventure, spontaneity and passion.
This study is built on a qualitative method using triangulation, where the studies empirical materials consist of 4 interviews along with observations online. The empirical material is applied on the theories: love, conflict and coping.
The purpose of this paper is to increase the understanding of how it is to live in a relationship with a partner who has been diagnosed with ADHD. The questions at issue are: How does everyday life work with a partner who has ADHD? What different aspects (positive and negative) are there to live in a relationship with a partner that has ADHD? How is the possible if any help and support perceived in their relationship and everyday life? The results showed that a relationship with a partner that has ADHD looks like any other relationship, but that it can differ due to the possible difficulties that are at hand.

Then in the final stages of the thesis, wewant to account for if we managed to answer our research questions. In the method, wegive a description of the approach selected in conjunction with the study. The study isqualitative and we used both primary and secondary data, with a deductive approach.The theory chapter will consider the most relevant theories that are related to the topic,which is internationalization, pre-internationalization, international entrepreneurship,and the psychology behind personalities, attitudes, and how these can affect theorganization's strategic decisions.

Before the general election 2006 all of the Swedish parties represented in the Parliament held their political party conference. At each political party conference, the leader for respectively party held their opening speech, a speech that was covered by the press. This essay deals with how the press covers these speeches. Analysing how the different speeches were covered by the press, some tendencies regarding how the press report could be visualised. In this comparison the ?quantitative content analysis? was used.

Studies have shown the importance of market communication in both private and public organisations.Since the past decade market communication has been acknowledged as an instrument to provide the organisations target group with valid information.This thesis is a study about the differences in market communication between private and public organisations. To manage this we asked ourselves the question:?- What distinguish the market communication in a private respective a public organisation??We have done qualitative interviews to get the best result for our study. We have interviewed both types of organisations and our respondents have leading strategic position in their organisations.Our research highlights important differences between private and public organisations in matter of tactics in market communication.In conclusion the result shows a great difference in how an organization is managing their communicative strategies all depending on if it is a private owned company or a public organisation..
Skillnader över Atlanten : En undersökning om två organisationers kommunikationsarbete i USA och i Sverige.
This essay is a case study of how two non-profit organizations, in the same line of business work with external communication and new media such as Internet and social media (Facebook and Twitter).Both these organizations are located in different countries and the purpose of the case study is also to find out if the differences in their work methods in communication depend on organizational or cultural differences. The case study was conducted in the organizations Sverige Amerika Centret in Karlstad, Sweden and The Swedish Council of America in Minneapolis, US. A qualitative approach executed through interviews and a qualitative content analysis of the organizations annual report from 2010. The result of the interviews and the document content analysis shows that there are differences in the way these organizations handle their work with external communications and new media. One of the organizations uses new media more actively in their work with communication and through that channel creates a relationship with its external audiences. The theories that has been used for this case study is Organization communication, Intercultural communication, Public Relations and Organization culture.
