Vårdpersonalens upplevelser av att vårda personer med Beteendemässiga och Psykiska Symtom vid Demens (BPSD)
Allt fler personer drabbas av demenssjukdom och en stor del av dessa drabbas någon gång av ett eller flera beteendemässiga och psykiska symtom vid demens (BPSD). BPSD skapar stort lidande för den drabbade men kan även vara svårt att hantera för människorna omkring dem, närstående och vårdpersonal, och är en stor anledning till att personen flyttar till särskilt boende. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vårdpersonalens upplevelser av att vårda personer med beteendemässiga och psykiska symtom vid demens. Studien hade en beskrivande design med kvalitativ ansats. Data samlades in via sex individuella semi-strukturerade intervjuer.
Ambulanspersonalens upplevelser av stress och hur det hanteras : En kvalitativ studie
Abstrakt Bakgrund: Dagligen utsätts ambulanspersonalen för situationer som mer eller mindre uppfattas psykiskt påfrestande. Stressen som kan uppstå under tjänstgöring upplevs ofta olika beroende på individ. Forskningen har i dagsläget mest fokuserat på stressorer, men det finns ett behov av en djupare förståelse av hur ambulanspersonalen upplever stressen och hur de bär sig åt för att hantera stressen. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva ambulanspersonalens upplevelser av stress och hur de hanterar det. Metod: Till studien valdes selektivt 21 personer ut från en ambulansstation i Västernorrlands län. Fyra fokusgruppsintervjuer gjordes och spelades in för att sedan analyseras genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Fjorton män och sju kvinnor i åldrarna mellan 25-63år medverkade i studien och representerades av ambulanssjukvårdare, sjuksköterskor och specialistutbildade sjuksköterskor. Resultat: Ambulanspersonalens upplevelse av stress berodde på allt från osäkerhet med sin kompetens, ansvar och bristande rutiner.

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

The construction will begin in autumn of 2007 and will be finished according to plan in 2009. Atollens goal is to counteract the competition from external retailers and strengthen the retail trade in the city centre, leading to more attractive and competitive city centre.Atollen will not be a shopping centre in traditional style and design, it will be focused on shopping and experience. The shopping centre shall be a natural venue with a wide and exclusive store mix, concentrated against trend conscious customers. This will be created with the help of a futuristic design and architecture, with light, open and transparent spaces.

Background. Anesthetic-related death in small animal anesthesia is about ten times more common than in human anesthesia. Recent research identifies the early postoperative period as particularly risky and highlights the need for regular and careful monitoring of the veterinary patient during this period.
Objective. The aims of this study were to investigate whether there are standard procedures in terms of regulated routine patient observations and record-keeping during the early postoperative period at Swedish veterinary clinics, and if there are any guidelines for monitoring the veterinary patient during recovery.
Methods. A small survey including ten Swedish veterinary clinics was carried out as well as a literature review.

Vårdhygien på infektionsavdelningar för smådjur ? en intervjustudie
BACKGROUND: The isolation facility is an important ward in veterinary hospitals. This is where infectious patients are treated in order to reduce the risk for cross-contamination between the infectious patients and other patients and humans in the hospital. But it can only function in a safe manner as long as adequate precautions for infection control are adhered to. This has shown to be a problem in many isolation facilities in veterinary hospitals in Sweden.
AIM: The aim of this paper was to examine which factors that can affect the quality of the infection control in the isolation facility. The aim is also to stress the importance of adequate infection control practices.
METHOD: Two interviews were conducted with staff from two veterinary hospitals.

Event marketing's ability to create strong communication effects is a well-known fact and a contributing factor to its popularity in the world of marketing today. But while we know that it is the interaction between consumers and the brand within the scope of live marketing that gives rise to loyalty and purchase intention, we have no knowledge in how the company's efforts affect the outcome. As the investments in event marketing are growing at a comparatively high pace, it is urgent to obtain a deeper understanding and a sense of direction of the elements infuencing its success.In this study we investigate in what way and to what extent the amount of effort that a company puts into the making of an event is used as a signal of manufactor credibility, ability (i.e., expertise) and consumer care. And in what way and to what extent the perceived effort influence purchase intent, attitude and word-of-mouth. We also analyze marketing events in terms of the theory of equitable exchange and "desperation", a subject matter thus far only touched upon.As we identify two different types of events on the market today, we include both in our study: the in-store promotion related event and the party event, which is held in an external venue.

Design och utveckling av kommersielltbabypaket för blivande föräldrar
This project is implemented as a thesis at the Royal Institute of Technology in the master?s degree program Integrated Product Design and Industrial Design Engineering. The project has involved development and efficiency of a free starter package for expectant parents with useful content consisting of useful products for both before and after childbirth. Areas that have been investigated include packaging development, service design and appropriate content for the package.During the work, theory about packaging design, materials, manufacturing techniques and logistics have been processed to base the further work on. The project process has involved competitor analysis and interviews with store owners and customer surveys, that have been conducted to identify areas for improvement of the current solution.

favorable. The first question that is responded to
is how plants can be used in order to enrich the

Problem: How should a company act to sustain a strong identity and thereby a strong brand image when operating in a changeable world?Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze whether the corporate identity of Academic Work is strong or fragmented. Further more this thesis aims to give recommendations on how the company could continue working to maintain a strong brand image. Methodology: The thesis is a case study of Academic Work. The study is based on data collected from interviews, a poll as well as data from the company website.
Utvärdering av Windows RT för portning av Mario Framework
Ericsson har utvecklat ett ramverk för multimediakommunikation som heter Mario. Mario kan användas för att sätta upp video- och ljud-samtal över IP och finns fungerande på Android och iOS. Mario är en del av web browsern Bowser som finns att hämta på Google Play eller App Store. Bowser möjliggör att köra WebRTC applikationer skrivna i HTML5 och JavaScript på Android och iOS.Nu när Microsoft släpper sina nya plattformar, Windows RT, Windows 8 och Windows Phone 8 så finns ett intresse att försöka flytta detta ramverk till dessa plattformar. Vi kommer göra ett försök att porta Mario till Windows RT.
