The purpose of this study are to investigate and describe if companies? sustainability reports differ in substance and quantity between public and Large Cap companies? and if there are any differences between industries. This study will also analyze if companies? size, stakeholder group or profitability have some impact on the companies? sustainability report. The study includes all Swedish public companies and the Large Cap companies.To investigate in line of the purpose this study will measure both the substance and quantity.

As stocks have become a more common way for people to save their money, the range of financial information has had a substantial increase. To understand the assumptions that stock valuation and analysis are built upon, it is important for the reader to have an understanding for the models that are used by banks and institutions when recommendations are published.The cash flow model, which is the most commonly used stock valuation tool, is based on CAPM. This model describes the relationship between an assets return and its risk in relation to an index. The risk parameter is called the beta value and has grown to be the dominating risk factor within financial economics literature.The use of beta values has been widely discussed in the world of academics and some researchers claim that the degree of explanation brought about by the beta is so low that it should be discarded, others are faithful to the beta and believe that it still serves a purpose. As a result of this criticism other ways to calculate the beta have surfaced, models that take other factors of risk into consideration.

Purpose: Aims of this paper is to evaluate a comparative study between China and Russia funds in respect of the risks and returns. We also want to examine what has affected the funds in their respective domestic stock market.                                                            Method: The study is based on qualitative methodology to complement the quantitative survey by first gathering of secondary data from Morningstar, and fund manager´s stories on fund and banking companies' websites.  Primary data is conducted by the interview with fund manager. The sample consists of all land funds for China and Russia has found more than 10 years on the stock market.Results and Conclusion: The survey shows that China funds will generate better in decline than Russia Funds in both return and risk-adjusted Sharpe ratio. Because the China funds had better risk diversification and its holdings spread across different industry area while Russia funds is more directed towards oil and gas industry.

This bachelor thesis aims to analyse the Swedish mortgage market and investigate whether it is in a current price bubble or not. Comparisons have been made with Denmark, a country with a market similar to Sweden?s, and where the mortgage market faced a price bubble that crashed in 2008. The housing market in Stockholm has been analysed as a separate market, as it differs from Sweden as a whole in prices and underlying factors to increased prices. The conclusion of this thesis is that not Sweden, nor Stockholm, is currently in a price bubble at the mortgage market.

I tidigare forskning har visats att arbetsgivare gör misstaget att tänka att sammamotivationsfaktorer, som motiverar dem själva också är de faktorer som motiverar medarbetarna. Därför är det viktigt att undersöka vilka faktorer som motiverar medarbetare för att få en välmående personal. En kvantitativ undersökning genomfördes rörande olika motivationsfaktorer inom äldreomsorgen i Piteå kommun och jämfördes med en tidigare undersökning genomförd i Stockholm. Frågeställningarna var: Hur rangordnar medarbetarna inom äldreomsorgen de olika motivationsfaktorerna? och Skiljer sig rangordningen mellan medarbetarna inom äldreomsorgen i Piteå och medarbetarna inom äldreomsorgen i Stockholm åt? Respondenterna i undersökningen var 32 personer, som arbetar inom äldreomsorgen i Piteå.

This thesis examines the environmental benefits resulting from the choice of environmental certification scheme, with focus on energy. This was carried out by studying the measures that were implemented as a result of the certification of Sweco's three largest office buildings in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. The office property in Stockholm has been certified with the Swedish Environmental Building, Gothenburg with the British BREEAM and Malmö with the U.S system LEED.The results from the study indicate that an environmental certification can reduce the energy consumption by up to 59 percent and the water consumption by 20 to 66 percent. However; the interviews, literature study and simulations in MATLAB indicate that the size and scope of these environmental benefits depend on several identified factors: the type of building and its conditions, system selection, grade level, the choice of indicators, the ambition of those involved and when in time the certification process begins. The comparison between Environmental Building, LEED and BREEAM showed that Environmental Building for the office property in Stockholm gave the largest environmental benefit in terms of reduced energy consumption thanks to several large measures.

I och med Försvarsmaktens omställning till insatsförsvar med internationella åtaganden har sannolikheten för att marina förband ska nyttjas för väpnad strid ökat markant. Med detta följer ett än större behov av att kunna hantera sådana prövningar. I den här uppsatsen provas idealtypsanalys som metod att mäta korvetten HMS Stockholms effektivitet ur ett organisationsteoretiskt perspektiv. Idealtypen, referensfartyget ?HMS Excellence?, skapas genom att använda 7s modellen (Waterman et al.) för att åskåda organisationen och resultat från den Amerikanska studien ?Excellence in the Surface Navy? (Gullickson & Chenette) som indikatorer för effektivitet.

This bachelor thesis aims to draw attention to sound in the heritage sector in Sweden. In particular, to thesoundscapes that can be identified in our cultural heritage environments. Sounds in an environment, here calledsoundscapes, affect our perception of the environment and how we remember it.To find out how the heritage sector uses and would be able to use sounds, I have firstly studied if audio recording iscomparable with the visual photographic image. I then present examples of sound documentation concerning theconservation of built environment. In addition, I have interviewed five key informants who all have a centralresponsibility for five cultural heritage environments.

I denna uppsats testas om Stockholms bostadsmarknad är effektiv i den halvstarka formen. Huvudresultatet är att så inte är fallet. En ökning av det diskonterade värdet av föreningens kapitalkostnad med 1 krona verkar enbart leda till mellan 30-50 öres minskning av priset. Detta kan bero på budgetrestriktioner, särskilt som ineffektiviteten är större på marknaden för små bostäder där förstagångsköpare kan tänkas dominera marknaden. Men vi kan inte utesluta bubbeltendenser på marknaden.

I denna uppsats studeras hur kontakter mellan filmproducenter och manusförfattare, regissörer och finansiärer skapas och fördjupas samt i vilka konkreta fysiska rum sådana kontakter kan ske. Djupintervjuer har gjorts med tre Stockholmsbaserade filmproducenter och två andra nyckelpersoner i samma stad. Dessa intervjuer har sedan analyserats dels hermeneutiskt, dels genom diskursanalys. Resultaten visar att kontakter ofta skapas dels genom personliga nätverk, dels i själva arbetet med filmprojekt. Mötesplatserna är ofta temporära och interna, även om vissa typer av miljöer som kontor, lägenheter och restauranger återkommer.

Stockholm is growing with almost two fully loaded SL-buses a day. One of the consequences that derive from this is the increase of public transport travelers who put the regionally governed public transport up to the test in terms of its capacity. The Transport administration in Stockholm County initiated 2015 a project with the purpose of simplifying the calculation of bus stop capacities. A hypothesis (set up by the Transport administration) based on that a model for calculation of bus stop capacities could be calibrated for Stockholm conditions is being researched in this bachelor?s essay.The study is implemented by self-collected traffic data from bus stops located in the Stockholm city center.

Tourism is often being viewed as one of the worlds largest sectors and a great contribution to growth and development. There is a large motivation amongst developing countries to promote themselves as a tourist destination, since they expect the tourism to generate economic growth. The government of Thailand has been promoting tourism since 1960, and the number of foreign visitors has increased from 100 000 back then to 13.5 million in 2006. The purpose of this paper was to investigate weather the increasing tourism industry in Thailand has pulled resources away from other sectors of the economy towards the tourism sector, and in that way harming Thailand?s international competitiveness and causing deindustrialization.

SUMMARYInventory of raw materials holds an important role in companies within the manufacturingsector. The inventory works as a buffer that secure the supply of materials to the productionunit. The aim of the inventory is to ensure that the company is able to meet the customers?demands despite fluctuations and variations in the material flow. The size of the warehouseand the layout are physical limitations for the quantity of articles that can be stored.

Stockholm har inför 2050 satt upp ett mål om att bli koldioxidfritt. I strävan mot detta söker man utvinna energi med förnybara metoder och ett alternativ för elproduktion inom stadskärnan skulle kunna vara solceller. Solceller är en teknik som genom sammanfogande av halvledarmaterial och den fotoelektrisk effekt genererar el ur solinstrålning.Avhandlingen studerar dagens solceller, med verkningsgrader uppemot 20 % och deras potential att täcka den mindre del av Stockholms elbehov som idag härstammar från fossila bränslen. Genom att se till en uppskattad befintlig takyta i Stockholms kommun och jämföra den med ytan som baserat på solcellernas potential behövs för att täcka behovet, konstateras att endast en liten del av detta kommer kunna täckas. För att solceller skall vara aktuella inom storskalig elproduktion, krävs att de är ekonomiskt lönsamma och att det i dagens läge är praktiskt genomförbart att montera dem inom stadskärnan.

Uppsatsen belyser hur uttalet av or-ändelser, er-förled samt vokalen i orden räv och gräs förändrats i stockholmsspråket under 1900-talet. Den utförda undersökningen berör tre olika åldersgrupper i staden.Störst uttalsvariation uppvisas i den äldsta gruppen, medan det i den yngsta gruppen uppvisas minst variation. Det som jämförs är hur ord uttalas isolerat (genom ordelicitering) samt hur samma ord uttalas i ett textsammanhang (genom högläsning av en text).
