Utifrån fyra fantasybilder, vars gemensamma nämnare är att de föreställer ett eller flera monster, av tre olika konstnärer och en konstruktivistisk syn på kön ställer denna uppsats frågan Hur konstrueras kön i fantasybilder? Syftet med denna frågeställning är att genom bildanalyser och gestaltande arbete synliggöra hur föreställningar om könsroller och normer representeras och reproduceras i fantasybilder, bilder som barn och unga kommer i kontakt med genom bok- och spelomslag, reklambilder och serier. Uppsatsens didaktiska syfte är att beskriva en modell för hur arbete med frågor om könsroller, könsstereotyper och normer kan genomföras i skolan, främst i gymnasieskolan, genom användande av just fantasybilder. Genom att ställa fyra fantasybilder mot representationsteorier signerade Griselda Pollock och Erving Goffman, samt teorier om monster signerade Noël Carroll, Cynthia A. Freeland och Carol J.

In tune with the cross-border trade the infringement of intellectual property rights has become a growing problem in Europe and the rest of the world. In June 2008 negotiations about a new international agreement was initiated between Europe, its member states and ten other countries, which will restrict infringements of intellectual property rights. The agreement is called ACTA, which stands for Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. On January 26, 2012 the European Union (EU) and twenty-two of its twenty-seven member states signed a letter of intent to the agreement and the EU?s internal processes of the agreement began.

The aim has been to answer the following questions:- What amount of the news coverage in Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter concern the metropolitan areas compared to the provincial areas, and how do these two newspapers differ in the news covering of these areas?- Is there a difference in the news articles size and content, depending on weather they concern the metropolitan or the provincial areas?- How has the balance between news concerning metropolitan and provincial areas changed over the recent 20 years?The theories used in this study are News values, the media commercialization and Popular Journalism, and The Agenda Setting Theory. The method that has been used is a Quantitative Content Analysis.Despite the essays hypothesis, that the news coverage in the two newspapers would be dominated by material from the metropolitan areas, the result showed that a majority of the examined articles concern the provincial areas. It also showed that Aftonbladet has a bigger percentage of provincial news than Dagens Nyheter.

In a recently published official Report from the Swedish Government (SOU 2010:73) a leg- islative proposal has been introduced. Its main purpose is to prevent parallel registrations of ships that are bareboat chartered to other countries. The legislative proposal claims that by preventing parallel registration of ships the Swedish Maritime Code will better corre- spond with the UN convention on the law of the sea.The UN convention on the law of the sea clearly states that ships are forbidden to fly two flags. There is however no restriction concerning parallel registration, simultaneously, in two registers. A ship that is bareboat chartered out from Sweden does not fulfil criteria re- quired in order to be deregistered, according to the Swedish maritime code.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att utifrån intervjuer med män som arbetar på förskolor och daghem undersöka hur dessa ser på sig själva, sitt yrkesval och hur de upplever att det är att arbeta som man på en kvinnodominerad arbetsplats. Studien är av kvalitativ art och bygger på intervjuer med sex män som arbetar inom barnomsorgen.Mot bakgrund av tidigare forskning har vi formulerat ett antal frågeställningar: vilken roll (avsaknad av) spelar homosocialitet för dessa män? På vilket sätt upplever män att de bemöts av motstånd och utmaningar genom sin förflyttning mot traditionellt kvinnokodade arbetsplatser? Vilken typ av motstånd/utmaning upplever de? Upplever dessa män att det finns könskodade förväntningar på dem som män? Upplever de att de representerar en underordnad maskulinitet?Vi har i vår empiri funnit svar på detta då våra respondenter beskrivit en saknad av andra män och samspelet med dessa och därmed homosocialitet. Vidare har männen berättat om vad de kallar för ?tvärtomfördomar? som de har upplevt från sina kollegor samt beskrivit fördomar och förutfattade meningar från omgivningen.

The aim of this paper is to clarify the up till now somewhat shady definition of legitimacy, and to investigate what happens to this concept when it is transferred from the boundaries of the nation state to the realms of the international arena. By creating a model of legitimacy from which an institution can be evaluated, the purpose of this paper is to investigate what legitimacy is and how important it is for the actors within the international society. The next step involves evaluating what makes the UN a legitimate institution and how its foundation is affected by the blatant disregard of its authority by one of its? most influential members.The theoretical framework consists of a summary of what contemporary analysts? views of legitimacy are, which I have incorporated into my own institutional model of legitimacy. The role of institutions is central to all aspects of this study.

Ala sawmill in Ljusne, Hälsingland, has increased its flow through the sawing plant during the last couple of years. The problem now is the sorting plant, as this part of the mill is now slower than the rest. A close analysis of the sorting plant was therefore necessary to be able to increase the flow through. The aim of the project was to find solutions that can lessen downtime and increase flow. The goal was to increase the flow from 650 to 925 logs through the sorting plant per hour.

Den här uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och jämföra Aftonbladets rapportering från handbolls-EM för damer 2010 och handbolls-VM för herrar 2011. Anledningen till att denna undersökning genomfördes var för att se hur jämlik eller ojämlik Aftonbladets rapportering var från de två internationella idrottsevenemangen. Den teoretiska bakgrunden som uppsatsen präglas av är genusperspektivet. Utifrån genusperspektivet i kontext med medier och idrott så skapades den teoretiska ramen för uppsatsen. Den utförda undersökningen i uppsatsen gjordes kvalitativt genom en kritisk diskursanalytisk analys av utvalda artiklar från Aftonbladets pappersupplaga under de två idrottsmästerskapens gång. Resultatet i undersökningen visade på en fördelaktig framställning av männen i Aftonbladets rapportering. Under det kvinnliga mästerskapet tenderade männen att framställas som förebilder och fadersfigurer åt kvinnorna.

People living with disabilities in our society today are more likely to be without a job compared to the rest of the population. The fact that a high number of people are not given the opportunity to work, and thereby being self-sufficient, is a failure for both the individual and the society. My purpose with the study is to increase knowledge and understanding regarding disabilities in the working life, with focus on the disability dyslexia. In the study, I am investigating the employer?s obligations and rights when employing a person with disabilities.

This project is based on my fathers farm which lays outside Löberöd, twenty kilometres south of Eslöv in Skåne. While my family for some time have thought about building a new milkingstable with AMS(Automatic milking system) I decided to compare the AMS with a conventional milkingstable. We are abit concerned about how many cows we should have in the new stable. Because of that I calculated with two different number of cows. I have compared three different types of milking stables: One alternative is 180 cows milked in a double eigth hearing bone milking stable. The second alternative is 128 cows milked with two DeLaval VMS-robots. The third alternative is 171 cows milked with three DeLaval VMS-robots. One salesman from DeLaval and one salesman from A-betong helped me to get marketprices on the milkingrobots, building, ventilation and prices on all the concrete. In all the costs labour is included. The rest of the costs are calculated in a softwareprogram called K-data 03 which is a program with predicted costs. The calulations from the program showed that the price in the milkingpit system was 51 000 sek per cow.

Stressful routines for animal handling can reduce immune function and productivity of animals. If stakeholders are handling animals aversively, animals will show increased expressions of fear for humans and higher stress levels which lead to the compromise of animals? welfare. In Ethiopia, there are no legislations to protect animals from suffering or discomfort. The main objective of this study was therefore to analyse welfare of cattle on animal markets in Ethiopia and map out supply chains of animals to these markets.

Ambitionen med denna uppsats är att kunna ge ett bidrag i kampen för ökad delaktighet i samhället för personer med funktionsnedsättningar. Forskning visar att det är viktigt att personer med psykiska funktionshinder syns ute i arbetslivet för att motverka stigmatiserande effekter. Det visar sig dock att personer med psykiska funktionshinder idag är den grupp som har det svårast att ta sig in på arbetsmarknaden. Syfte är således att öka förståelsen för funktionshindrades situation på arbetsmarknaden. Studien är av kvalitativ art och har genomförts med stöd av intervjuer vilka senare har tolkats utifrån ett intersektionellt perspektiv samt med stöd av teori kring rationalisering (Weber) och teori om social kategorisering (Tideman).Resultatet ger en bild av hur arbetsmarknaden idag genomsyras av rationalisering, effektivisering, flexibilitet och vinststrävan.

Their for it?s necessary for the companies to provide added values to the product so it will stand out from the rest of the products and lead to purchase. A well used strategy in the fashion industry is marketing with celebrities, this is considered successful because it brings attention and strengthening to the brand. Because of this, the strategy also branch out to other industries, but the question is if it?s as successful there? There?s also a serious down-side with the strategy and that is that there?s a great risk with using celebrities.
