This paper discusses how four people in the Swedish Radio station P3, together interact to account therapy trends towards a third party. The focus is on whether, and if so, how they collaborate to make the conversation intelligible for radio listeners. This is done by means of conversation analysis and methods developed by the CA. The result is interesting when the conversation participants do not follow their expected roles as broadcasters and experts while they disagree about the communicative projects to be carried out..

Det här arbetet är ett kompendium som beskriver några vanliga blodanalysers innebörd hos häst, hund och katt. Det beskrivs vad ämnet som analyseras har för normal funktion i kroppen och under vilka omständigheter analysresultaten kan variera. Ibland beskrivs de sjukdomstillstånd som dessa värdeförändringar kan bero på. Detta kompendium förklarar också vilka blodanalyser som kan vara passande vid iakttagelse av specifika kliniska symptom hos ett djur. Tanken med detta arbete är att underlätta för djursjukskötarstudenter under utbildningen och för djursjukskötare när de påbörjar sin yrkeskarriär.

I Göteborg pågår planeringen för en ny tågtunnel som ska binda samman pendeltågstrafiken tillgenomgående linjer. Västlänken, som den kallas, går under centrala staden och två nyastationslägen ska etableras. Trafikplaneringen har en viktig social dimension som inte alltiduppmärksammas i tillräckligt stor utsträckning. Infrastrukturella förändringar påverkar livet istaden, samt hur platser används och uppfattas. Arbetet handlar om blodbank för hund och katt, det innehåller information om bloddonator, blodtappning, rutiner vid hantering av blodprodukter, vad det finns för blodprodukter och deras användningsområden, samt blodtransfusion och transfusionsreaktioner. För att bli bloddonator ska vissa kriterier uppfyllas, donatorn ska vara frisk, ha bra temperament, uppnå en viss vikt, ha bra blodvärden, inte bära på smittsamma sjukdomar med mera. Vid blodtappning på hund används oftast slutna humansystem, medans man på katt använder små specialanpassade system. Antikoagulantia och näringslösningar används i systemen så att blodet inte ska koagulera samt att blodprodukten ska få längre hållbarhets tid. Det är viktigt att blodtappningen sker med hög aseptik så risken för bakteriekontamination blir så liten som möjligt.

In this project, an area in the small town Tungelsta south of Stockholm, is in focus. Tungelsta is placed in the municipality of Haninge and it is for the planning department on the municipality, this project is made. The task is to compose an arrengement of buildings and open spaces for a 50 hektar area. Today the area is consists of agriculture fields and forests. The area is placed near the railway station, in the city centre of Tungelsta, which makes it interesting and important to work with. There are different opinions about the future plans for the area.

Opioider används ofta inom veterinärmedicinen för att lindra smärta hos djuren. Det finns fyra olika opioidreceptorer som opioiderna kan binda in till, my (?), delta (?), kappa (?) och opioidlik receptor-1 (ORL-1). Dessa receptorer har olika funktion och opioider har varierande affinitet och förmåga att binda in till dem. Två inom veterinärmedicinen i Sverige mycket frekvent använda opioider är butorfanol och buprenorfin.

Kattbett är vanliga både inom veterinär- och humanmedicinen. De orsakar ofta djupa sår som är svåra att rengöra och lätt blir infekterade med bakterier från kattens munflora. Rodnad, svullnad, värme och ökad känslighet i området kring bettet är karakteristiska symptom som uppstår i snitt 12 timmar efter bettet. Komplikationer som ses i samband med kattbett är huvudsakligen abscessbildning och tenosynovit, men även allvarligare komplikationer som septisk artrit, osteomyelit, bakteremi och meningit förekommer. Risken för komplikationer ökar om bettet sker över leder, senor eller ben vilket ofta är fallet när människor blir bitna, då händer och armar är de vanligaste lokalisationerna för kattbett.

This dissertation is performed at the request of Lagafors AB who develops and manufactures stationery and mobile hygiene solutions for companies in the food- processing industry. The objective of this dissertation is to develop and construct a new, cost efficient cleaning station based on an innovative technology.The technique is based on serially connected dosing pumps which allow the customer to work with concentrated detergents. This leads to serious reduction in the clients use expenses. Two units have been developed with this technique, one that is stationary and one that is mobile.The dissertation has led to good results which resulted in the sale of the first stationary unit of the Lagafors CPU before the end of this dissertation. .

The purpose with this project is to compare different fuels when investing in a central combustion station at a case study farm. I have chosen to write about biofuel from an economical perspective. This because the heating costs are steadily increasing. Also because the farm in this case study has several different heating systems, which are neither profitable nor easy to work with. I have made calculations regarding usage of splinter, wood and grain for the heating system.

Intramuscular injections to cats can generate strong reactions in some individuals while reactions of the same extent, according to the author, not always are recognized when using the subcutaneous route. The reactions are probably caused by fear, stress and/or pain. When the injection can generate pain one has to take that into account, which can be a limitation in treatment. It is well known that injections generate pain, but knowledge about the cause and processes of the injection-associated pain is limited. This is mainly due to the difficulty in finding objects to study pain on, high cost of use of laboratory animals and difficulty to obtain objective measurements. Although there is evidence that there may be a local muscle injury by intramuscular injection, it is not always that the extent of damage is related to the pain experienced. Facts about the causes of injection-associated pain have been studied in a literature review.

This report includes common helminths, symtoms, routes of infection, diagnostic laboratory techniques and prophylactic methods to prevent infection. We have pointed out where there is a risk of zoonotic transmission and how to avoid contamination and infection. We have restricted the number of species to the most common helminths. Some of these helminths do not naturally occur in Sweden (yet) but are nevertheless of current interest when we travel across borders with our horses, dogs and cats. The diagnostic part of our report tells about different techniques to find an occurance of helminths in samples of faeces, blood, urine or saliva from a horse, dog or cat. We also write about some recommendations on treating parasitic infections and the development of anthelmintic resistant helminths that originates from incorrect use of anthelmintic drugs .
