The purpose with our thesis is to understand and explain the advantages and disadvantages there is with the self scanning system. The advantages and disadvantages we will highlight from three different angels; the store management perspective, the staff perspective and the customer perspective. These three perspectives will together form an overall perspective over the advantages and disadvantages as the self scanning system has contributed with. Finally we will highlight the differences and resemblances we have found between the perspectives.Through a qualitative approach we have gathered data to our thesis. Furthermore we have based our theory chapter and our empirical chapter on the base of Grounded Theory.

Most of the saw and pulp industries have stored wood nearby their production, the main reason is to have a continuous wood flow to the production. Wet storage of wood is of great importance to keep the wood quality. Without water sprinkling the risk of drying outand decomposition through biological activity increases significantly and will result in a negative effect on future production and quality. One drawback of wet storage of wood is the leaching of chemical substances into the surrounding recipient. The log yard run-off contains phosphorus, nitrogen, phenols and organic substances. These substances can cause problems for the surrounding environment. The main objective of this project is to gain an understanding of the wet storage used by the Swedish wood industry and estimate the environmental consequences that run-off water will have on the recipient.

Most often when developing a new system there is a need get a functioning testtool up and running. Including time, cost and resources the solution isn?t always obvious, developing your own or buy one ?of the shelf?. The purpose of this thesis is to study how a general testtool for executing functional tests should be designed to be reusable, be based on recognized knowledge and be able to fast and simple be customized for different types of systems. Key functions from the litterature is presented and used in the design of a testtool prototype.

VÄrt mÄl Àr att ta reda pÄ om anvÀndarna har varit delaktiga i utvecklingsprocessen och i vilken omfattning detta har skett. The purpose of this project is to get a fully functional, automatic steering system and a variable breaking system with an emergency breaking function to an off road vehicle. This off road vehicle is supposed to work as an aid in military situations. A team of two, Sebastian Attervall and Nichlas Gustafsson, got an order from Jonas NyÄrds and the PreeRunners Project to construct a steering system that could manoeuvre an off road vehicle without any human involvement. To make this possible the vehicle would be guided by onboard sensors, cameras and computers. The team where also assigned to construct an automatic breaking system, there also no human would be involved.

Forskare talar dock bÄde för och emot CRM och CRM-system. En del anser att det kan ses som överskattat och som nÄgot som har vuxit fram till nÄgonting större Àn det egentligen borde vara, likt en trend. ?Hur kritiskt Àr ett CRM-system för ett företags hantering och bearbetning av kundinformation, sett ur ett CRM-perspektiv??Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen Àr dels att beskriva hur företag (med och utan CRM-system) arbetar pÄ ett formellt sÀtt med kundinformation i kontakten med sina kunder och dels analysera hur kritiskt eller relevant ett CRM-system Àr i detta arbete, sett ur ett CRM-perspektiv.Metod: En kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats som utgÄr frÄn en deduktiv metod.

Det finns huvudsakligen tre olika sÀtt att konstruera ett partitionerat system pÄ: Federerad arkitektur, Integrerad ModulÀr Avionik (IMA) med ARINC 653 eller IMA med virtualisering. I den hÀr rapporten undersöks de olika arkitekturernas egenskaper och vilka möjligheter som finns för certifiering av dem. Efter den teoretiska undersökningen har Virtualisering, och framförallt Xen, valts ut för en testimplementation och tillförlitlighetstester.Testimplementationen bestÄr av fyra partitioner dÀr varje partition har sin specifika uppgift att lösa. Den fjÀrde partitionen anvÀnds för att undersöka hur Xen hanterar en partition som aggressivt nyttjar I/O, processor eller arbetsminne.Testerna visar att Xen har en svag punkt: all I/O hanteras via en egen, speciell, partition. Denna partition saknar dessutom möjligheter att prioritera I/O frÄn specifika partitioner.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka vad som gör att en anvÀndare vill anvÀnda SMS i en organisation och vilka faktorer som pÄverkar anvÀndandet av detta system, det vill sÀga acceptansen av att anvÀnda det. DÄ denna typ av system Àr relativt nya tyckte vi att detta var ett intressant Àmne att undersöka, samtidigt som vi ville se vilka faktorer som pÄverkar anvÀndaren i avseende till anvÀndning av ett specifikt SMS-baserat system. Det kan Àven vara intressant för företag som vill implementera eller utveckla den hÀr typen av system. UtifrÄn syftet bestÀmde vi oss för ett visst tillvÀgagÄngssÀtt som vi skulle anvÀnda oss av för att kunna fÄ svar pÄ vÄra frÄgor. TillvÀgagÄngssÀttet var att leta i den litteratur vi haft pÄ tidigare kurser inom det systemvetenskapliga programmet för att hitta en teori som kunde ge oss stöd för ett resonemang.

In recent decades here has been a huge development in information technology (IT), where we humans are increasingly using IT in our daily lives, ranging from social media to music streaming services; this has also been a reflection of the technologies developed to our cars. Infotainment systems have become an increasingly regular feature in modern cars where the high degree of integration such as navigation, mobile and Internet has become more common and more sought after. Despite this, relatively little research problemized User Experience of a complex infotainment system in a car. This study thus has the intention to consider the relevance of reality based tests by examining how the user experiences a complex infotainment system in a car. We asked ourselves; How do the user experience a complex infotainment system in a car? We conducted our qualitative study, an interview with researchers in the field of vehicle and road safety and designed a number of system-related activities in a test session where we observed three users.

This master thesis describes the development of an UPS module. UPS is an acronym for Uninterruptable Power Supply. The UPS module has been developed at the company AerotechTelub AB. The UPS module delivers the necessary voltage and current in case of a power interrupt. If a power interrupt occur, the computer system has one to three minutes available to store data and shut down correctly.

Objective ? To study the requirement of nursing care of the equine patient during eye treatment with a lavage system together with a constant rate infusion pump. Procedures ? Three veterinary nurses at ATG: s HĂ€stsjukhus in Skara were asked nine questions at individual interviews. Inclusion criteria for participation in the interview were that the nurse should have treated equines with and without the infusion pump to the lavage system, but also traditionally with eye drops. Results ? The equine had a higher well-being since it experienced less stress during eye treatment with the infusion pump compared to treatment given by hand through the lavage system. The treatment would be more effective with constant rate infusion and save costs for the owner.

Emwitech, the company developing Emwiro Vibe, expressed a desire to replace this solution with a real-time operating system (RTOS). The project consisted of two parts. Firstly the existing software was studied, available RTOSes was evaluated, and the RTOS most suitable for the application was selected.
