Syfte: Implementeringen av EG:s fjärde bolagsdirektiv i Sverige har medfört att kravet på rättvisande bild införts i svensk lagstiftning. I samband med att uttrycket rättvisande bild infördes i ÅRL[1] 2 kap 3 § uppkom frågan om kravet på god redovisningssed är berättigat med hänsyn till den ökade internationaliseringen av redovisningsnormerna. Eftersom det inte finns någon definition på vad en rättvisande bild innebär har begreppet fått en varierande tolkning i de olika länderna. I denna uppsats skall undersökas om begreppet god redovisningssed bör avskaffas eller behållas. Är begreppet fortfarande berättigat med hänsyn till internationaliseringen och efter att rättvisande bild införts i svensk lag.

Hyperthyroidism has become the most commonly diagnosed endocrine disorder in cats. The recommended treatment of choice in the literature is administration of radioactive iodine. This treatment has been available at a few veterinary clinics in Sweden since 1999. Forty-six cats treated with a standard dose (80 MBq) of radioactive iodine (131I) at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in the period 2000-2004 were followed for a median of 13 months (range 3-42 months) by means of a retrospective cohort study design. Tables predicting time of survival after treatment were made. At final follow-up thirty-nine cats (85%) were euthyroid, six cats (13%) remained hyperthyroid and one cat (2%) was hypothyroid.

En revisor har ett stort ansvar då de ska försäkra företagets intressenter att redovisningen är tillförlitlig. Genom principbaserade standarder försvåras revisorns uppgift i och med att företagen har incitament att göra fördelaktiga tolkningar av dessa. En omdebatterad standard är IFRS 3 som behandlar rörelseförvärv. Detta då klassificeringen av övervärden, enligt tidigare forskning, är ojämnt fördelad. Revisorn har till uppgift att försäkra att standarderna tolkas och tillämpas på ett enhetligt sätt, men frågan är om det verkligen görs i praktiken.

The purpose of the study was to find out how teachers in a school in Kenya conducted the education of mathematics in standard 4-6. The focus was how the teachers worked with children in need of special support in mathematics.To find out the purpose a case study was made with two interviews and seven observations with four teachers on a rural school in Kenya. The following issues were: Which standards were there in the classrooms during lessons in mathematics in Kenya? How did the teachers express the view of children in need of special support? The main conclusion was that different teachers teaching in mathematics looked the same.The teacher was standing in front of the blackboard where the teaching occurred and the pupils were sitting lined up in their benches. The teaching of the pupils was about repetition and imitates the teacher and mostly filling the gap that the teacher made them say.

During 2001-2002 a prototype, IMIS (Integrated Mobile Information System) was developed at BTH (Blekinge University of Technology) to demonstrate how mobile IT-systems can be used in healthcare. The prototype was based on the activity theory of Engeström. An ongoing project started in spring 2003. The purpose of the project is further development of IMIS with special focus in the diabetes healthcare. Participants in the project are scientists and students at BTH, ALMI Företagspartner, Blekinge FoU-enhet, Barndiabetesförbundet Blekinge, Blekinge Diabetesförening, Vårdcentralen Ronneby and Vårdcentralen Sölvesborg.

Many children in Sweden are exposed to maltreatment. Among the purposes of the Child health care (CHC) are to decrease mortality, infirmity and handicaps among mothers and their children, and to decrease hurtful strains for parents and their children. CHC-nurses get critizism for not reporting child maltreatment in high enough numbers to the Social service. The aim of this study was to chart how CHC-nurses finds their work with families suffering from maltreatment. Ten CHC-nurses were interviewed with semistructured interviews.

In this paper the possibilities to replace metal with plastic in products for the building industry were looked into. The first part was a market examination where several suitable products were found. After evaluation the door latch for in-house doors was selected to be re-designed to better suit the properties of plastic.New types of mechanisms were designed with different functions that use the benefits of plastic materials. Models of these mechanisms were developed to evaluate their function. The components in the different mechanisms were adapted for manufacturing with injection moulding.To confirm that the plastic material could handle the appearing stresses calculations on the most vulnerable parts were carried out.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur utvalda företagsspecifika finansiella nyckeltal förhåller sig till ratingbetygen på valda företag. Undersökning omfattar 25 nordiska företag som är noterade på OMX. Kraven för de utvalda företagen är främst att de har blivit ratade av de amerikanska företagen Standard & Poor?s eller Moody?s, som tillsammans är marknadsledande inom kreditvärderingsbranschen. Till grund för studien ligger en undersökning genomförd på den amerikanska marknaden av Ogden et al.

Bergvärme har länge varit populärt i Sveriges kalla klimat som ett hållbart energiutvinningsalternativ. Individer som var tidiga med att installera bergvärme börjar idag behöva byta ut sina värmepumpar. En förnyad standard med värmepumpar dimensionerade för att klara en större andel av hushållets maximala effektbehov kan dock medföra problem vid ett nyinköp. En för hög effekt i värmepumpen i ett för kort borrhål kan sänka borrhålstemperaturen och försämra värmefaktorn för systemet. Detta projekt undersöker temperatursänkningen i borrhålet vid installation av en ny värmepump i ett gammalt system.

Stereotypa uppfattningar om människor grundar sig på egenskaper somassocieras med sociala kategorier. Denna tillhörighet ger olikareferenspunkter, så kallade standards, vid bedömning av andra. Utifrånteorin om shifting standards och antagandet att gymnasieprogram kan sessom sociala kategorier, undersöktes om och hur bedömningar av elever frånolika typer av gymnasieprogram varierade och påverkades. Åttiotrepersoners enkätsvar som analyserades. Antingen bedömdes en typisk elevsamt en specifik elev, eller enbart en specifik elev, från ett studie- elleryrkesförberedande program.

The purpose of this project is to analyze and study the absorption of the substances ivermectin, spinosad and barettin to hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces, and to analyze and study if the barnacle larva are effected when they try to settle on the treated surface.Incubation tests with barnacle larva in Petri dishes were performed as well as absorption tests on hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces which were tested with ellipsometry. To determine the surface thickness.The barnacles were placed in hydrophobic as well as hydrophilic Petri dishes that had been incubated with ivermectin, spinosad or barettin. After four to six days the larva was counted to analyze the settling. The use of vision applications are growing and the demand for integration and connectivity with other industrial automation control devices is increasing. Some businesses that are using vision technology follow US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) regulation concerning audit trail. This thesis investigates the possibility to use vision technology for counting objects, achieving connectivity and to follow FDAs audit trail regulation. A market survey has been used to select suitable hardware and software to be used in the design of an application that is able to count objects and that uses standard industrial network connection i.e. OPC data access and Microsoft?s .NET components over Ethernet.

This master thesis is about designing and dimensioning a boat for transport of caravan, car, trailer or ATV. Buoyancy and stability are important properties as the pontoonboat should also be able to serve as a workboat. Many of the vessels on the market today that is being used for similar purpose are stable enough, but their hull is often similar with barges and thus too slow. This work has been to construct a boat that has good stability but also has a hull that enables it to move faster, is more maneuverable and having a more attracting design than today?s barges.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att bestämma enhetstider som används för prissättning och produktionsplanering av ytterväggar vid LB-Hus AB. Syftet var också att utforma en standard för kommande tidmätningar vid förtaget.Som hjälpmedel vid tidmätningarna har programvaran Umt-Plus använts. För att underlätta vid kommande mätningar vid företaget har enklare instruktioner för de vanligaste funktionerna i programmet tagits fram och arbetsgången noggrant dokumenterats.Under genomförandet av tidmätningarna har produktionsprocessen granskats och de problem som har uppmärksammats är bl a. oklarheter i ritningsunderlagen som snabbt orsakar störningar i produktionen och att de beredningsmissar som förekommer ofta resulterar i onödigt dubbelarbete.De uppmätta enhetstiderna stämmer väl överens med de tider som i dagsläget används av företaget. Dock har bara en linje undersökts och vidare undersökningar bör göras vid de andra linjerna för att med säkerhet kunna bekräfta de tider som används.

Hanterbara båtar is a new company who builds alumina boats customized for people in wheelchairs. Due to the fact that the company only built two boats yet, the production documentation is not complete. The drawing that does exist is not in an exact standard which makes production planning harder.The purpose of this work has been to make the production of the boat easier and simplify further development and modification. Product development in the form of optimizing details is also one of the main purpose of this work.This is all done by making a 3D-assembly of all the existing drawings. After this is done new drawings will be made and added to the main assembly.
