A global world and international business induces not only opportunities for organizations such as increased possibilities to reach new markets but also challenges to maintain a coherent business. To meet these challenges, organizations need to harbor a global workforce where employees are sent abroad. These employees are called expatriates and receive very lucrative compensation packages to cover their increased expenses. Compensation packages are not only expensive but represent in their totality also a complex strategic challenge for both the organization and the expatriate. The purpose of this paper is to investigate which components of a compensation package that are important for different segments of expatriates.

The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of being a family caregiver for aperson with dementia. A further aim was the inclusion criteria and data collection methods inthe studies presented, and how this may have affected the results of the studies. The methodwas a descriptive literature study with qualitative approach. Data were collected throughdatabases Cinahl and Pubmed using the words: dementia, knowledge, information, support,caregivers, coping, Spouses, experiences and family caregiving. Keywords were combined indifferent ways in order to refine the search.

Around 30,000 people in Sweden suffer stroke every year, out of which about 12,000 end up with language difficulties, aphasia. Behind every person with aphasia there are significant others whose lives are also affected. Studies of how aphasia affects the health of these people are few. The overall aim of the present study was to examine how significant others of people with aphasia perceive their life situation, and how their quality of life is affected by the illness of their partner. Spouses of people with aphasia were contacted through aphasia groups and the Swedish Aphasia Association.

Psykisk ohälsa är ett samhällsproblem som kräver mer uppmärksamhet från sjukvårdens sida. En kronisk sjukdom drabbar både patienter och deras livskamrater och präglas av olika förluster som förändrar livet. Förlusterna skapar en klyfta mellan det liv patienter och livskamrater lever och de liv de egentligen vill leva. Det är i denna klyfta som den kroniska sorgen skapas. Kronisk sorg skiljer sig från vanlig sorg då den återkommer i perioder och växlar i intensitet.

AbstractThe aim of this literature review was to describe the experience and needs of sudden bereaved family members who lost a loved one in a sudden and unexpected death. The aim   is furthermore to depict the experience of unexpected and sudden death from the nurse´s point of view. Method: The literature review study has been carried out with a descriptive design. The result of the study was based on 14 scientific articles with quantitative and qualitative approach. The articles were searched in the databases PubMed and Cinahl and through manual search.Results: A majority of close relatives that experience a sudden bereavement are dissatisfied with the way they have been encountered by the staff.

 When a couple divorce or when couples move apart a division of property can be done. A married couple's property constitutes of joint property and private property. In a division of property between Spouses is only the value of the joint property included, not the value of the private property. In a division of property between couples that live together but not a married their joint property that are bought to be used by them together will be included. It is the value of the joint property that will be shared in the division of property.

People move between countries and establish connections all over the world. This results in a need to solve problems with cross-border inheritances and partitions of joint property. Today these situations are regulated by the countries? own international private law. EU has adopted a constitution that harmonizes rules of jurisdiction and applicable law for inheritances but not the partition of joint property.

När en man diagnostiseras med prostatacancer innebär det en psykisk påfrestning för mannen och hans kvinnliga partner. Reaktioner som chock, meningsförlust, ensamhet och ångest är vanligt förekommande. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur det vardagliga livet upplevs och påverkas hos par där mannen lever med diagnostiserad prostatacancer. Resultaten i studien baseras på tio vetenskapliga artiklar med fokus på parens erfarenheter av sjukdomen. Impotens, inkontinens och fatigue var symtom som drabbade mannen till följd av sjukdomen.

Aphasia is a linguistic impairment which affects communication and may have an impact on a person?s narrative ability. The purpose of the present study was to analyse the narrative ability in aphasia by narrative interviews with people with aphasia and their partners. The interviews were scrutinised for strategies used in joint narration involving couples where one of the Spouses has aphasia. The definition of strategies was methods to cope with communicative difficulties often due to aphasia.

The aim of our thesis was to describe how the connection between co-dependent relatives and the alcohol-dependent influences the family into changes in their teamwork.Our purpose was also to answer the following questions: How is it living with an alcoholic? Are there any differences in how men and women feel and behave in their relationship with an alcoholic? Are factors like cultural belonging, genre or social class important for how the co-dependent relatives feels and behaves and handle their co-dependency?To answer these questions we made twelve thematic qualitative interviews with six adult children to alcoholics and six people married to alcoholics. We compared the results of these interviews with earlier research. We also applied System Theory and Goffman's Role Theory, as well as Bourdieu´s Capital and Habitus concept.We believe that co-dependency is a family divergence that is very similar to family disease, but that a change in attitude can trigger recovery. According to the interviews many Spouses stand by their alcoholic husbands and do actions that perpetuate the alcoholic dependence and thereby hold back any recovery.

Stroke är den tredje vanligaste dödsorsaken i Sverige och risken för att insjukna ökar med stigande ålder. Vid stroke har personen drabbats antingen av en infarkt eller av en blödning i hjärnan. Restsymtomen efter en stroke kan uttrycka sig på olika vis. Vanligaste symtomen är domningar eller förlamningar i ansikte, armar och ben. Rehabilitering efter en stroke kan ta lång tid och efter sjukhusvistelsen är det ofta närstående som tar det största ansvaret för omvårdnaden av personen som drabbats av stroke.

The EU guarantees the free movement of persons. The citizens of the EU Member States have the right to move freely without barriers within the EU borders and this result in an integration of the peoples in Europe. The integration result in several international family relationships. It is not unusual in the present situation that families have international relations. For example, Spouses in a married couple may have different nationality.
