Norra Sorgenfri är ett av de få områden som fortfarande visar spår från Malmös tid som Industristad. Under de senaste åren har Malmö genomgått en dramatisk förändring mot en mer internationell och pulserande stad med fokus på hållbarhet och god stadsmiljö. Norra Sorgenfri är nästa område att stå på tur i Malmös förnyelsearbete. Detta område är idag ett industri - och verksamhetsområde beläget strax sydost om Malmös stadskärna. På grund av att allt fler verksamheter har flyttat eller lagt ner, står idag många byggnader tomma.

När den andra sträckan av Karlshamn - Halmstads järnväg anlades år 1878 fick Ljungby sin första järnvägsförbindelse. Järnvägen resulterade i ett uppsving för köpingen, som växte från 300 till 3000 invånare på 20 år. När den sista etappen av Skåne -Smålands järnväg anlades i slutet av 1800-talet fick Ljungby ytterligare en järnvägsförbindelse. Nu blev Ljungby en järnvägsknutpunkt, som staden kom att växa kring och varifrån hundratals resenärer reste varje dag. Under 1960-talet lades persontrafiken på de båda sträckorna ner och det enda som återstod var godstrafiken mellan Ljungby och Värnamo. Rälsen på banan mellan Karlshamn och Halmstad revs snabbt upp, medan delar av rälsen på Skåne - Smålands järnväg legat kvar långt in på 2000-talet. Nedläggningen resulterade i att bangården i centrala delar av staden lämnades öde och oanvänd. Än idag, 14 år sedan det sista godståget gick på banan, är området nästintill lika öde och oanvänt. Trots att kommunen har tagit fram visioner och förslag på hur området skulle kunna utvecklas, så har ingenting gjorts. Bangården har tidvis betraktats som en skamfläck i samhället, vilken stadsplanerna försökte förminska så mycket som möjligt.

Often, the green is handled as an opposite to the built, but if it could be seen as a part of the built and the society, the planning will be easier to handle. The thesis work wants to create a method that treats villages in an analytic way in a context; with green, blur, grey and all the other colors that together are the completeness.This master's thesis is made to be used as foundation in detail plannng in the municipality of Örkelljunga. Target audience is on one hand those who work with planning and green matters in Örkelljunga municipality, but also other planners who work with landscape.Literature in the field of green city planning has been studied and 30 methods for analysis have been valued. The method for analysis that has been used in this work is a merging of ten different methods and has included literature studies, sketches, interviews and work on spot. The ten methods are consciously chosen to together make one comprehensive and true image of the village, as far as it is possible.

Ett branschanpassat affärssystem är avsett för organisationer verksamma inom samma bransch. Syftet med denna typ av affärssystem är att ge högre passform än standardiserade affärssystem och vara billigare än skräddarsydda affärssystem. Det råder dock brist på kunskap om hur dessa ska utvecklas. Genom vår litteraturstudie presenteras en kravinsamlingsmodell med utgångspunkt i Requirements Engineering som ska ge stöd för utvecklare vid insamling av krav för branschanpassade affärssystem. Utöver det identifierades ett flertal aktiviteter relaterade till modellen.

This thesis is a study of residential environments and a design concept for a proposed housing area in Tierp. The industrial era created a need for the central planning of housing. The confined environments that arised in cities during the 19th century, together with modernistic and democratic ideas, led to regulations in planning and housing. Though the overall goal has been the same: to create a good standard in living, the ideas of how to achieve that have varied. The starting point for following generations has been to attend to the insufficiencies of the earlier planning periods.

Background: From the beginning of the 60´s until the beginning of the 80´s the swedish local government has expand enourmously. The expansion didn´t lead to any discussions about how the local government should be controlled or organized. The local government should instead be organized and controlled as administrations. Lately it has became more usual to have these discussions about how local government should be controlled and organized. Nowadys it´s not unusual that local governments imitate private companies.

This study investigates the planning process of a university library building. The study s major concern is the cooperation of the main participants in this process: librarians, architects and representatives of university colleges and universities. First the authors present the readers with an overview of the litterature concerning this subject. Then follows a presentation of the three case studies. The authors have interviewed representatives of the three different occupational groups at three different library-building projects: Malmö University, Halmstad University College and the department of social- and behavioural studies at Lund University.

The topic of this essay is the expected effects that can come during and after a mega event and how the local impact may affect the local community and the citizen. This essay concerns a forthcoming mega event, the Olympic Games that will be held in London 2012. The area that the Olympics will be held in is Stratford that is located about twenty minutes from the central of London by the underground. The Olympic Games is one of the largest mega events with its millions of visitors. The purpose of this essay is to study what is expected after the mega event has taken place in London.

Endast en kilometer från Växjö Centrum ligger ett bostadsområde, Araby/Dalbo, tillkommet under 1960- och 70-talets s.k. Miljonprogram. Miljonprogrammet var ett politiskt försök till att bygga bort bostadsbristen, men ledde till många av de bostadsområden som idag kritiseras för att vara segregerade med monotona och otrivsamma miljöer. Innemiljöerna var vanligtvis välplanerade och funktionella lägenheter med anpassning till solljus och luftighet, men utemiljön blev ofta eftersatt pga. rationella byggmetoder.

Detta arbete har tagit fokus på en ännu outforskad företeelse i svensk kommunal planeringspraktik, nämligen något som här kallas ?konsultplanering?, det vill säga konsultmedverkan i den kommunala planeringen. Uppsatsen har avgränsats till att handla om ?planeringskonsulter? och konsultuppdrag som konkret handlar om planering och inte olika utredningar etc. som i och för sig också ingår i planeringsprocessen och ofta utförs av konsulter.

Abstract Considering the social dimension of sustainable development this thesis focuses on the qualities of life and how the environmental qualities that the inhabitants value can be incorporated in the physical planning of the municipality. The thesis deals with the problems that occur when the physical planning, whit its focus on the environmental aspects, also needs to consider peoples opinions, that springs from the individual experience of the place. The municipality of Mark, where this thesis takes its place, is characterised by the countryside landscape. Mark is situated in the western part of Sweden close to Göteborg, Borås and Varberg. The commuting is extensive and the demand for dwellings in the municipality is increasing. Those who strive to live in the municipality have a conception of what life on the countryside means and of which environmental qualities they want to assimilate.

The purpose of this paper is to develop an idea about geography in literature and through the study of science fiction literature examine the ?future city?. With the perspective that the city is a social construction and through the use of discourse theory, I have tried to emphasize how the future city is a representation of cultural discourses and in what way geography in literature can be used to increase our understanding of urban places. My intention with this paper has also been to find a way to connect the fictional future city with today?s urban planning discussion about the future city.

The purpose of this study is to study the Swedish Tax information campaigns in 2010-2012. Questions about what worked better than others, and what impact this has had has been set up. The study shows that work has essentially divorced by 2011,worked with a significant amount of local material. This work had an impact on mass media published locally in newspapers. This work fits well with research in the area showing that messages should be tailored to the target audience and capture the target group's interest.

Medborgardeltagande är enligt lag en del i processen när en detaljplan tas fram. Syftet är att medborgarnas åsikter ska vägas in vid beslutsfattandet och på så vis bidra till mer demokratiska beslut. Men medborgarna är inte de enda som gör anspråk på att påverka besluten. Andra aktörer, så som exploatörer eller andra företag, försöker anpassa planen till sin fördel. Alla dessa parter samt andra faktorer ska i slutänden vägas in i det politiska beslutet.

This Masters Thesis includes a survey of recreational habits and the attitudes towards forests of the people of Sätra, a suburb of the city of Gävle. The study also includes the planning and design of a forest suited for education in the same part of the city. The thesis is a part of a project called Tätortsnära skog, commissioned by the Swedish forest agency. The project aims to survey the recreational habits of the general public in the regions of Dalarna and Gävleborg. Tätortsnära skog is focused on cities with a population of more than 20 000 inhabitants, of which Gävle, Sandviken, Falun and Borlänge all fall within the category.
