The aim of this study is to investigate the components of religion and spirituality in the specific context of "Fryshuset" ? a multicultural and glocal arena. Against the backdrop of contemporary researchers such as Heelas and Woodhead and their hypothesis about the "spiritual revolution" and a "new spirituality", as well as the postmodern discussion about "the return of God", this study discusses how religious change can be understood in the context of Fryshuset.The theoretical point of departure is taken in a hermeneutical method where Fleck´s theory about "thought-collective" and Gidden´s theory about the "duality of structure" are used in order to understand and describe the dialectical relationship between individual and social structure.The method used in this study is qualitative. The interviews are made of six individuals representing different social projects at Fryshuset.By analyzing the material from the field study through theories on religious change, three areas are identified:"The subjective turn"Religion and spiritualityA Cosmopolitan interpretation of life The result of this study is that the religiosity among the interviewed can be described through Taylor?s understanding of the "subjective turn".

I den här uppsatsen undersöks bokträdets (Fagus sylvatica) förmåga att skapa olika sorters platser och rum. Detta sker dels genom en litteraturstudie och dels genom analyser av fyra platser i Alnarp Västerskogs bokbestånd. Två olika sorters analyser har gjorts; en känslostyrd med skiss och prosa som verktyg; samt en begreppsstyrd med utgångspunkt i litteraturstudien och med fotografi som verktyg. Förhoppningen har varit att på så sätt få en bredare bild av platserna och upplevelsen av dem. Vidare har litteraturstudien berört fenomenen plats och rum samt hur vi med hjälp av växter som en slags byggstenar kan skapa dessa rumsliga miljöer..

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how Digital Signage systems such as public info kiosks can be designed to better fulfill its main use; to enlighten, encourage and influence the public with information. The challenges presented from earlier studies shows that the public interests and goals, together with proper and relevant content displayed in info kiosks have impact on the attention the public have towards public displays. Qualitative methods such as interviews, usability testing and observations were conducted to further examine how a public info kiosk can be designed to draw attention and grow interest amongst students at K3, Malmo University. Usability testing were used on the digital prototypes that were developed to ensure that the gestural user interface meet the requirements of a proper interaction from the users. Important insights were made concerning; the attention and interest to relevant content, the aspects of the gestural user interface along with the placement of the info kiosk in terms of context.

Uppsatsen behandlar temat urbana tillväxtstrategier i svensk planering. Studien syftar till att undersöka hur översiktsplaner har påverkats av entrepreneurial city, platsmarknadsföring och kreativa klassen som alla är olika teorier om urban tillväxt. Undersökningen utgår ifrån fem kommuner med en översiktsplan från tidigt 90-tal och en aktuell plan antagen omkring 2010. Översiktsplanerna studeras utifrån de valda teorierna (entrepreneurial city, platsmarknadsföring och kreativa klassen) om urban tillväxt för att ge förståelse för hur strategierna i kommunernas översiktsplaner har påverkats av teorierna. Den genomförda undersökningen visar på en förändring över tid som pekar mot mer tillväxtorienterad planering..

I uppsatsen har fallstudier gjorts för att undersöka hur stadsodling kan fungera som appropriation av stadsrum, på vilket sätt den kommunala organisationen påverkar stadsodlingens förutsättningar liksom om stadsodling kan bli en del av planeringen. Stadsodling har mer eller mindre varit närvarande i svenska städer sedan medeltiden. Syftet och uttrycket har dock kommit att variera över tiden. Stadsodlingsformen som uppsatsen undersökt handlar om kollektiva odlingar i dagens stadskärnor eller i dess periferi. AbstractA useful tool for companies to use in their differentiation process is proposed to be employee branding. Employee branding is developed and put forth by the management with the main task to formulate the brands vision and values, and communicate them to the employees. To promote the employee engagement and their relationship with the company, corporate storytelling can be applied, with is an internal communication that strengthens the internal rumour and values that represent the brand. Since engagement and motivation is important factors when creating a strong employee brand, there is a need for further research on how corporate storytelling is used by companies to influence employee engagement and motivation, as corporate storytelling leads to deeper commitment among employees.PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to explore how companies use corporate storytelling to influence their employee branding.MethodologyThe authors conducted a qualitative case study on how the retail organization Boomerang. The empirical material was collected thru semi-structured interviews with Boomerangs management and employees.ConclusionThe conclusion shows that the employees prefers when corporate storytelling and various communication is put in context, this because it?s easier for the employees to understand.

Urban densification as a planning strategy is of interest in the planning context of today. It is also seen as a part of the sustainable development. Urban densification as a concept is commonly used in the discussion of a sustainable development. Thus, the question about urban densification is an important challenge in the current planning context. A deeper understanding of the process which urban densification has developed from is necessary, since planners then will be more able to manage this challenge.

Denna uppsats är en upptäcktsstyrd fallstudie av jämförande typ inom vilken tre kommuners vindkraftsplaner studeras. Syftet med arbetet är att studera kommunernas hantering och ställningstaganden kring vindkraftens visuella påverkan på landskapet samt ljudnivåerna. Arbetet har genomförts med hjälp av en fallstudie där de tre utvalda kommunernas hantering och ställningstaganden kring vindkraftens påverkan på landskapet samt ljudnivån har analyserats för att sedan jämföras med varandra. Analysen har genomförts med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. De studerade kommunerna har valts ut utifrån energiföretaget O2:s ranking av Sveriges kommuners vindkraftspotential.

Conclusions: A myriad of interpretations are possible when studying and discussing a particular organizational culture. As culture can not be removed from its context, we illuminate the effects that the internationalization process has with regards to unifying the organizational culture in our particular setting studied. Maintaining however, that a reflexive look at this culture shows no single interpretation as being sufficient, we try to expose its richness and ambiguities through a three perspective approach..

Scientists argue that gender affects foreign policy and security policy, that ideas of gender are inconstant and that there is a lack of feminist perspectives in International Relations. The changes seen in the global security context may have challenged the way politicians and scientists understand war and its impacts, and led to increased gender awareness.Using securitization theory and feminist international relations theory, the aim is to examine how women and men are being spoken of in the Swedish foreign policy discourse regarding participation in the UN-led stabilization mission Minusma in Mali. By applying a feminist perspective on the securitization process, the intention is to increase the knowledge of whether there is gender awareness in this context.The result shows that there is limited gender awareness. There is minor consideration for the conflict?s different implications on the situation for women and men.

Det senaste decenniet har stadsplaneringen i Sverige till stora delar handlat om förtätning, särskilt i centrala och vattennära lägen. Området Vilan i Kristianstad är ett verksamhetsområde med dessa förutsättningar. Vilan ligger nära Kristianstads centrum, alldeles intill Helge å och i anslutning till ett våtmarksområde. Jag har i mitt examensarbete valt att arbeta med en del av Vilan, nämligen den nordöstra delen. Det är en stadsdel med dålig struktur och liten kontakt med den natur och våtmarksområde som området gränsar till. Syftet med examensarbetet är att utreda hur ny bebyggelse med bostäder, handel, kontor och verksamheter kan utvecklas i ett område nära ett riksintresse för naturvård, ett naturreservat, ett ramsarområde och vatten. Kan bebyggelsen integreras med våtmarksområdet eller kan de existera i varandras närhet? Nordöstra Vilan är min fallstudie och ett exempel på detta.

Demografiska, kulturella och samhälleliga förändringar sker i stor utsträckning i dag i våra städer. I och med dessa utvecklingar finns ett ökat behov av mer flexibla bostäder anpassade för en bredare målgrupp. Kärnfamiljen har ersatts av singelhushållet, som numera är den vanligaste hushållstypen i Sverige och även andra familjekonstellationer blir allt vanligare. Detta ställer ökade krav på den kommunala planeringen och bostadsmarknaden att möta dessa behov. Men trots dessa förändringar står bostadsmarknaden och stampar och de bostäder som byggs i dag följer ett ideal konstruerat för fyrtio år sedan.

The purpose of my study is to find out how preschool teachers reason concerning their work withgender equality from outside of the curriculum. I propose the following questions: If there is apositive view over the relevance of gender equality from outside of the curriculum? Does thepreschool teachers think themselves to work with gender equality from outside of the curriculum?Does the preschool teachers have any thoughts on whether working with gender equality will have apositive or negative effect on the children? In what way does the preschool teachers reason on theirown meetings with boys and girls? The method chose to use is a qualitative study that is based oninterviews. I have interviewed four preschool teachers in a small society called Katrineholm. Afterthe interviews I have analyzed the material and split it into themes that has been processed.
