It has been argued that the ?War on Drugs? has done more harm than good and in some American states and a number of European countries the drug have been legalized or decriminalized. Everybody does not agree however, that legalization is the best course of action and in Sweden the emotions have sometimes run high in the discussions taking place in television shows and newspapers.The purpose of this study is to examine the image media portrays of cannabis; based on the theory that mass media is an important influence on the individual and the way in which he or she views the world. To put the result into a context the Swedish media image will be compared with the one in Denmark and Norway.

SammanfattningDetta examensarbete behandlar ett ämne det forskats mycket på de senaste åren, positioneringinomhus. Utomhus är GPS standard men för positionering inomhus finns det än så länge ingenstandard. Syftet med lokaliseringssystemet som utvecklats i detta projekt är att lokaliserapersoner och andra föremål i rörelse i kontorsliknande miljöer. För ett sådant system finns mångamöjliga användningsområden. Ett av dessa är styrning av belysning.Inledningsvis gjordes en litteraturstudie vars syfte var att undersöka vilka teknologier samtmetoder som finns tillgängliga för positionering av personer och objekt inomhus.

The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze laws that completely prohibit abortion through a legal philosophical perspective. To demonstrate that abortion blanket bans cannot be seen as legally legitimate, the author has completed a literature study where she uses Robert Alexy?s ?Concept of Law? to analyze abortion laws both in general, and in Nicaragua in particular.Based upon Alexy?s ?Concept of Law? the author has identified three relevant key elements ? social efficacy, the argument from injustice and correctness of content - which she uses in her analysis. In order to apply these three elements on the total abortion ban, she then uses four different analysis tools - feminist theory, Human Rights, deontology analysis and right analysis. This has enabled a thorough analysis of the total ban on abortion that has demonstrates that such laws cannot be considered legitimate.By highlighting the human rights violations the law entails, one can conclude that the law has a social impact.

Background: The growth of the venture capital industry has given birth to new relations between investors and entrepreneurial firms. Venture capital firms are by definition investors serving as an active partner which implies a deeper relation between investors and entrepreneurs than has been the case previously. This new situation leads to a number of questions. Do venture capitalists really act as active partners with a long term interest in the venture? Do they add any value besides capital? How important is their influence in the portfolio company's decision making process? Purpose: The purpose of this study is to give a deeper understanding of the relation between venture capital firms and IT companies in the start-up phase.

Denna studie behandlar ämnet forskningsanvändning i praktiskt socialt arbete och har genomförts i form av en diskursanalys av utvalda delar av den offentliga debatten kring ämnet.De frågeställningar som styrt arbetet är vilka strategier för forskningsanvändning som kan urskiljas samt hur det kan påverka socialarbetare i praktiken. För att besvara frågeställningarna gjordes ett strategiskt urval av texter utifrån begränsningar i fråga om tid och relevans för ämnet.De dokument som granskats utgörs av Socialstyrelsens rapport om kunskapsutveckling inom socialtjänsten samt ett antal debattartiklar ur tidsskriften Socionomen.Studien har utformats som en diskursanalys med inslag av den kvalitativa fallstudien, alltså inom den kvalitativa forskningstraditionen. Texterna har analyserats och sedan kategoriserats utifrån de deltagande aktörernas problemdefinition, orsak till problemets uppkomst, hinder och förslag till lösning. Vad gäller studiens vetenskapsfilosofiska position och teoretiska angreppssätt befinner sig denna studie inom ramen för den kritiska samhällsforskningen och i analysen av resultat och slutsatser har utvalda teorier kring makt och profession använts. I studien har även en genomgång av tidigare forskning på området genomförts och dess slutsatser har även använts i analysdelen.

This essay examines the Swedish missionary association Bible Faithful Friends? (Bibeltrogna Vänner, BV) ecclesiological development between the years 1911 ? 1986 and their relation to the Church of Sweden. This essay?s three main questions are:- How did the ecclesiology of BV develop during the years 1911 ? 1986, with certain focus on 1967-1986?- In what way was this ecclesiology imprinted bya) the structure of the missionary association?b) and the ecclesiological standpoint of the leader Axel B. Svensson?As regards the first question, the study shows that BV's ecclesiology, particularly in the years 1967 ? 1986, is characterized by a church debate between BV's board and the promoters and founders of the Lutheran Confessional Church (Lutherska Bekännelsekyrkan, LBK).

This Master Thesis has been conducted as an assignment of the Swedish Defence MaterialAdministration and the Swedish Armed Forces and aims to examine the Target Location Error(TLE) of a Forward Observer System. The targeting accuracy of the system is vital if the systemis to be used as a sensor for precision munitions. The analyzed system, EOI (FOI 2000), wasdelivered to the Swedish Armed Forces in 2007. The targeting sequence starts with deciding theposition of the system with a GPS-receiver, continues with methods where the north direction issettled and ends by measuring the distance, direction and elevation to the target. When allparameters have been measured the system calculates the position of the target.

Examensarbetet utfördes på Atlas Copco Rock Drills och det gick ut på att uppdatera en borrenhet med Rig Control System. Det är ett datastyrt hydrauliksystem som möjliggör automatisk borrning. För att få automatisk borrning behöver borrmaskinens position mätas med hög noggrannhet och en lösning kunde presenteras som uppfyller det kravet. Projektet startade med att ta fram olika förslag i form av koncept som sedan utvärderades med personal från Atlas Copco. Resultatet blev ett förslag som sedan vidareutvecklades och kompletterades med produktionsritningar och strukturer..

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka de villkor kring vilka unga tjejer formar sin sexualitet. Det gör jag genom att titta på hur sexualitet beskrivs och hur kön positioneras i en kontext som är avsedd för unga tjejer. Jag vill också anlägga ett tidsperspektiv för att se om det skett någon förändring över tid och hur den i så fall ser ut. Empirin utgörs av texter från tidningen FRIDA från 1983 och 2008. Frågeställningarna är: Hur beskrivs tjejers och killars upplevelse av sex? Hur beskrivs tjejers och killars sexualitet? Hur positioneras kön i utsagorna? Jag använder mig av diskursanalys som metod, och teoretiska utgångspunkter är socialkonstruktivism, teorier om diskurs och genusteoretiska begrepp.

The purpose of this study was to examine how young managers (26-32 years old) in municipal old-age care organizations, in Skåne and Blekinge, experience their professional roles as managers in relation to their age. One of the questions asked in this study was whether managers experienced that their age affected their managerial position, and in that case, how? In order to investigate this, a qualitative method was used, including interviews and observations. Seven interviews with young managers were conducted. My approach in the working process was influenced by Grounded theory as defined by Glaser and Strauss (1968).
