"Food security is a situation that exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life" (FAO Summit, 2003, pp. 28).Food insecurity is of concern regarding the Republic of Mauritius (ROM) since it is defined as a net food importing country. (Farming news, 2008). The impacts of climate change followed by their complexity could potentially have an increased risk effect upon the social and environmental welfare as well as the economic drivers in the ROM (www, UNESCO1, 2009). The primary victims when it comes to the impacts of climate change are the Mauritian agricultural producers since agriculture is highly dependent on climate stability, therefore affecting the yields of the producers.

Länge har teoretiker intresserat sig för hur människan kommunicerar känslor. Men kommunikation via icke-lingvistiska röstuttryck är ett relativt nytt forskningsfält, där ytterst få studerat ämnet utifrån ett kulturellt perspektiv. Tidigare har aldrig så många som arton emotioner undersökts i en studie om igenkänning av tvärkulturella icke-lingvistiska emotionella röstyttryck. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om arton emotioner uttryckta av aktörer från andra kulturer går att identifiera. Fyrtio deltagare har i två skilda experiment bedömt emotionen bakom sammanlagt 427 röststimuli från Indien, Kenya, Singapore och USA.

This research is conducted on one of the world?s largest deposits - Shtokman gas and condensate field located in the Barents Sea. The development of the field is operated by the Special Purpose Company Shtokman Development AG - the international consortium of Total, Statoil and Gazprom. This research is aimed to analyze the value chain of the Shtokman project and to study the socio-economic capacity of the Murmansk region in order to examine the perspective fields of work for local companies, as well as the socio-economic potential of the region related to the gas industry that can be applied to the realization of the Shtokman project. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative data collection that involves the results of 24 semi structured interviews conducted in the Murmansk region, including the interviews with representatives of the Shtokman Development AG and the industrial committee of the Murmansk region government.

The purpose of this study is to create an understanding of how parents and preschool teachers experience induction at preschool. The induction creates collaboration between preschool teachers and parents where the interaction and socio-cultural factors have been key theories for the work task.The method used has been of qualitative nature where interviews were made with parents and preschool teachers. In these interviews, they shared their insights of how they experienced the interaction and communication during induction. I asked the parents what they felt was good communication and interaction during the induction. The same question was given to preschool teachers to respond to and also if there was something that worked less good during induction.The results show that parents and preschool teachers feel that induction works well satisfactory and that it is important that the interaction work well between both parts.

En betydande del av Sveriges yta är täckt av skog och det finns många olika viljor finns rörande vilka värden skogen ska erbjuda. Syftet med studien var att undersöka människors erfarenheter, emotionella band och värderingar av skog och natur, samt attityder till naturresursutnyttjande och allemansrätt, inklusive samband dem emellan. Syftet var även att diskutera resultatet i förhållande till politiska mål rörande skog och natur. Totalt deltog 663 universitetsstudenter med medelåldern 24 år, varav 254 kvinnor och 401 män, i en enkätundersökning. Resultatet visade genom korrelationsanalys samband mellan samtliga variabler.

Otillräckligt behandlad postoperativ smärta är ett problem som sjuksköterskor i allmänhet kommer i kontakt med i sitt dagliga arbete och som åsamkar patienten både fysiska och emotionella kval. Musik, med tusenåriga traditioner som läkande, har länge varit en bortglömd intervention då sjukvården under lång tid varit strikt biomedicinskt inriktad. Syftet var att belysa musikens inverkan som omvårdnadsåtgärd i samband med postoperativ smärta, ur ett patientperspektiv. Metoden bestod av en litteraturstudie, nio vetenskapliga artiklar har analyserats och ligger som grund till resultatet. Analysen av artiklarna har lett fram till tre olika kategorier; Lindrad smärtupplevelse, lindrad upplevelse av känslomässigt lidande och underlättad mobilisering.

It also shows that the pupils wants literature full of action where descriptions of people and the setting don?t slow down the reading experience.The teacher is successful in finding literature the pupils appreciate but sees the value of literature on another level ? in the processing of the reading experience.

Bakgrund: I Sverige har abort varit lagligt sedan 1975. Kvinnor har rätt att själva fatta abortbeslut fram till graviditetsvecka 18. Varje år görs 30 ? 40 000 aborter i Sverige. Abortupplevelsen kan vara emotionellt komplicerad för många kvinnor och varierar beroende på hur kvinnans livssituation ser ut.

Spelmarknaden har expanderat de senaste åren men dock råder det fortfarande en brist på forskning inom spelområdet. Flera riskfaktorer anses undergräva spelproblem. En av de största riskfaktorerna till just spelproblem anses vara ökad tillgänglighet. Syftet med studien var att undersöka relationen mellan spel och tillgänglighet. Metoden bestod av en litteraturstudie där tolv studier baserade på kvantitativ data analyserades. I resultatet framkom, att ökad tillgänglighet till spelmöjligheter ledde till ökad spelfrekvens samt att ökad omsättning på spel ledde till fler negativa konsekvenser från spelande. Större tillgänglighet påträffades bland områden med lägre socio- ekonomi.

ICT and digital artifacts is an important resource in the society, especially in schools. That is why we have chosen to study if and how teachers uses ICT and other digital technology in their education in the history subject. We think that both subjects are important because history is a subject that has to do with the past, the present and the future.We made qualitative interviews with seven teachers from three different schools. We have analyzed if the teachers sees ICT as a burden or a resource in their education and also in which extend they have digital literacy. We have chosen to discuss different authors view on ICT in the education and digital literacy.

Syfte: Att undersöka patienternas upplevelser efter en hjärtinfarkt samt deras behov av stöd efter hemgången från sjukhuset. Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie. Resultat: Patienterna upplevde ofta känslor som irritation, vrede, depression, emotionella problem och uppfattade sig vara en börda för sin omgivning tiden efter hjärtinfarkten. De upplevde sig värdelösa och utan livsglädje relaterat till minskad energi för dagliga aktiviteter och oro för en ny hjärtinfarkt. Oro fanns även inför en nyupptäckt rädsla för döden och bristande kunskap om sjukdomen.
