Title: The internal attractiveness of the sales position within ABB SwedenProblem: What is the cause of the low internal applicants for the sales position at ABB?Purpose: To identify why there are so few internal applicants for the sales position at ABB.Method: In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted amongst the employees of ABB. The target groups were sales managers, sellers and other employees. The result from the survey where then analyzed based on the theory chapter. Conclusion: A GAP-analysis showed a difference in the attitude towards the sales position at ABB.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the variation in the maximal discrimination of the interaction between cognate and a non-cognate codon and anti-codon (also called the d-value). The variation was analyzed with a multiple regression model with the d-value as the dependent variable and with the codon position and the different mRNA and tRNA bases as independent variables. Kombinationen av datamaterial från dessa två undersökningar har möjligjgjort longitudinella analyser. The purpose of this qualitative sociological law study is to examine the relationship between the social services and civil court to apprehend if knowledge about the child's best interest is transfered from social workers to the legal system. This have been done by investigating civil court cases concerning custody transition from biological parents to foster parents according to 6 chapter 8 paragraph in the law of parenting, built upon the legal principle of the best interests of the child. Eight cases has been examined by using a method of qualitative text analysis and categorised into five primary categories and three concepts linked to sections of the law. The material has been analysed through a sociological law perspective, social constructionist theory and attachment theory. The study shows that a variety of factors interacts when it comes to determining what?s in the best interest of the child .

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa ur ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv vilka metoder invandrarkvinnor från Östeuropa använder för att skapa sig en position på den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Samt vill studien belysa vad som varit betydelsefullt för kvinnorna i denna process.Frågeställningarna lyder: 1. Hur har kvinnorna från Östeuropa gått tillväga för att skapa sig en position på den svenska arbetsmarknaden?2. Vad är det som har haft betydelse i denna process?Datainsamlingsmetoden är kvalitativ och baserat på åtta ostrukturerade intervjuer med invandrarkvinnor från Östeuropa som har migrerat till Sverige i vuxenålder.Studien intar ett socialkonstruktivistiskt förhållningssätt och har makt och genus som teoretiska referensramar.

The aim of this investigation was to assess if there was a correlation between touch avoidance and hierarchical position, perceived degradation, number of years spent in jail and age amongst men at a correctional institution. In addition, a possible correlation between hierarchical position and the amount of perceived degrading treatment was also explored. In the collection of the data a questionnaire containing 27 open and closed answer alternatives was utilized. A multiple regressional analysis was conducted to find possible correlations between touch avoidance and the other underlying variables. Also an independent t-test explored the possible effects of the control variables: place of birth and girlfriend.

This essay discusses the issue of the role of women and also whether they could obtain a strong Social position during the Viking Age. Moreover, it does discuss the question of how frequent women were present in Viking Age scriptures, art and archaeological artefacts in comparison to our view of women and her position in the modern society. The archaeological material used is in majority that found in Birka, such as burial and habitational findings. These objects, as well as other comparable and similar findings from other places, when put together with written sources, show that women had different roles in the society. She was able to have a strong social role during the Viking Age not only becauseof the status her family had but also because of her own merit depending of her skills and ability.The archaeological findings found in female graves and other findings in the area, suggest a specializing within both textile production and trade for the women.

Bakgrund: På intensivvårdsavdelningar finns olika rutiner kring huruvida endotrakealtubens position hos intuberade skall skiftas eller bibehållas i samma mungipa, då sidbyten kan leda till allvarliga komplikationer. Rutinen vid CIVA har varit att byta endotrakealtubens position på alla intuberade patienter en gång per dygn. Varken rutinen med skifte samt bibehållen position har utvärderats. Syftet med studien är att undersöka oralt intuberade patienters munhälsa vid bibehållen position av endotrakealtub under vårdtiden. Metod: Studien är en kvantitativ deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie.

The purpose with this study was to examine six caseworkers and two clients? experiences of interaction in the investigative work of social assistance. Moreover, how the interaction between caseworkers and clients are affected by the structure of the social assistance unit. The study also wanted to show how interaction rituals contribute to the change in assessment procedure in the investigative work. The study even aimed to highlight the ways in which social exclusion occurs in investigative work from caseworkers and client?s capital and gender.

The purpose of this study is to explore how different discourses about risk linked to HIV prevention is likely to affect the decisions on the distribution of state funding for preventive activities aimed at 'men who have sex with men' (MSM). This by making qualitative interviews with principals that have an impact on this decision. Using a discourse analytic approach, based on both theoretical and methodological foundations, I investigate the discursive constructions of risk of HIV linked to certain groups and behaviors. MSM is found in the material placed into two different formations of groups, on one hand by the behavior on the other hand on the basis of identity. The identity position is organized discursively from a ?victim? position while MSM provides an "operator" position.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the female experience as it is spoken of in the novel Sindhia written by Rut Hillarp (1954) and how the main character in the book violates the experience from a queer perspective. My aim is to through a close reading highlight a number of discourses that underpin the book's imminent theme of love and submission.According to Norman Faircloughs critical-discourse analysis, the text one reads produces a certain amount of discourses that one consumes. This way there is a dialectical interaction that can be set into a practical analysis together with a suitable academic perspective. This is the method I use in this thesis.The academic perspective I add isJudith Butler's queer theoriessupported by Michel Foucaults social genealogyin order to understand/analyze the woman?s position in relation to a social empirical history.I came to the conclusion that Sindhia produces the woman's discourse from an ancient biblical/ mythological time up to modern time.
