Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka högstadiepojkars läsvanor, varför de läser, men framförallt varför de inte läser. Utgångspunkten är en enkät som har besvarats av ett trettiotal pojkar på en mellansvensk skola. Enkätfrågorna handlar om läsvanor, vad pojkarna läser, vad de vill läsa samt vilken nytta de ser i att läsa. Enkätsvaren visar att de flesta pojkar som deltagit i enkäten läser böcker eller tidningar på sin fritid. Pojkarnas läsintresse är högt i sjuan, men avtar med stigande ålder.

The purpose of the study was to examine what possibilities and obstacles, according to the personnel and patients in a methadone treatment, exist in the patient's social rehabilitation. How does the methadone treatment encourage the patient's social rehabilitation, what possibilities/obstacles are there according to personnel and patients? What does the patient see as important aspects of his/her social rehabilitation and what importance does the methadone have on the treatment? The results show that there are difficulties for patients to rebuild their life, find employment, start new social networks and get by with everyday tasks. The support from friends and family will simplify the patient's social rehabilitation, otherwise they get isolated and alone. Patients feel that they are fighting for a successful treatment so that they can have a relationship with friends and families again.

Our purpose was to investigate if Swedish University educated social workers, living as active Christians, in any way might be influenced by Christian values. The main questions; Can Christian values be a factor in the choice of career to become a social worker? How does a personal belief in Christ impact the relationship towards the clients? Is Christian belief a support in the work? In this paper we used a qualitative method and interviewed eight persons, with a background as above, four of them employed by a church organisation and the other four working in the social sector. The result we present is that the eight Christian social workers Christian belief influenced their work very individually. How much this supported them was a choice about how official and open they wanted Christian values to be.

Our main aim with this study is to shed a light over the social workers opinions about what they believe will be the consequences of introducing Housing First in the city of Stockholm. We wanted to examine the social workers perceptions about how Housing First could change their client?s autonomy and justice. Therefor we accomplished five qualitative interviews with social workers. We analyzed our empirical material with the theoretical terms; justice, autonomy and intern role-conflict.

This paper describes how files and information can be shared in organisations and workplaces. We studied and compared the traditional file sharing in Microsoft Active Directory and the Social file sharing that comes with Microsoft SharePoint Sites. We used qualitative studies based on interviews with system administrators, management and by our own observations to acquire the necessary data. Using independent research, we were able to analyze the data and show the general difference between the traditional and the social file sharing systems. Social file sharing enables the user to easily store and share files in a flexible online environment.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka redovisningsbyråernas upplevda nytta av ISO certifieringen. Med upplevd nytta avses både den nytta byråerna tror att de kommer att få och de konsekvenser certifieringen redan medfört. Undersökningen är genomförd på två olika respondentgrupper. Grupp 1 består av redan certifierade redovisningsbyråer medan grupp 2 består av byråer som har genomgått hela utbildningen men ännu inte certifierat sig. Grupperna har fått besvara varsin mailenkät vars syfte har varit att besvara studiens två frågeställningar; ? Varför valde byråerna att certifiera sig? ? Hur har byråerna upplevt certifieringen hittills och vilka konsekvenser tror de att den kommer att medföra på lång sikt? Utifrån ovanstående undersökning har vi kommit fram till följande slutsatser.

    The purpose of this essay is to examine trust, or lack of trust, in the social services. Previous research considering this topic is limited, which, in our point of view, implies the need of further studies. A quantative method was used, consisting of an online questionnaire containing statements about the social services. The statements were designed using a five level Likert-scale which required the respondent to rate their level of agreement. The questionnaire was published on five webcommunities directed to parents.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att kartlägga hur Volvo Aero Corporation arbetar med produktionssimulering samt presentera ett tillvägagÃ¥ngssätt som bör användas, för att göra produktionssimuleringsstudier kostnadseffektiva och tillförlitliga som beslutsunderlag. Genom att följa en simuleringsstudie har författarna bildat sig en uppfattning om hur produktionssimuleringar i dag gÃ¥r till pÃ¥ företaget. De empiriska resultaten har analyserats utifrÃ¥n teori för att beskriva hur Volvo Aero bör förändra sitt förfarande vid simuleringsstudier. Resultaten visar att Volvo Aero har brister i sitt tillvägagÃ¥ngssätt när simuleringsstudier genomförs. • Inledningsvis är de frÃ¥geställningar som ska undersökas alltför övergripande för att kunna besvaras med hjälp av en simuleringsstudie.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

What Places Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, in Need of Social Assistance? A Qualitative Study of How Social Workers Whom Administrate Financial Assistance for Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, Describe Reasons Behind the Need of Social Assistance Amongst Their ClientsThe purpose of this essay was to study and compare how social workers whom administrate social assistance for adolescents and adults, respectively, describe reasons behind the need of social assistance amongst their clients. This was done due to the use of qualitative interviews with a total of six social workers. Of these six, three administrated social assistance for adolescents while the other three did the same for adults. Prior research of poverty attribution greatly inspired this essay.

The purpose with this essay was to study how the social work is shaped in the methadone programme and how the staffs treat and work with the social integration for the patients.We have studied the experience of a medical assisted treatment from two different treatment clinics and focused on their treatment programme. We have chosen to focus on the social aspect but we have also been taking part of the medical treatment - the methadone. In order to get a bigger picture of our problem area we also studied how Sweden's narcotic politic is constructed and how a narcotic life could look like before the entrance in the program. This thesis is a study of social movements and their possibilities to effect politics by infuencing values in society through framing. I've looked upon social movements from a functionalistic-structuralistic perspective, as if they were carriers of values from people that otherwise won't be represented in the political life. The values that the social movements are struggling for can affect both the opinion and the decision-makers since the social movements in an active way are trying ti influence the society. The thesis examines the political opportunities that social movements hav to mobilise and grow. I have looked at different factors that either improve or make the political opportunities worse.

Syfte och frågeställningar Syftet med denna uppsats var att granska skattelagstiftningen rörande sponsring, samt att jämföra de befintliga reglerna rörande sponsring med Stockholms Handelskammares förslag ny lagtext. Målet med Handelskammarens förslag är att det ska bli enklare för företag att dra utgifter för sponsring. Vi hade följande frågeställningar: Varför skall sponsring vara avdragsgill? Vilka följder kan Handelskammarens nya förslag ge? Skall avtal inom sponsring vara skriftliga? Varför anses motprestation som enbart höjer goodwill och image som gåva? Metod Rättsdogmatisk metod, som går ut på att systematisera och tolka rättsregler med hjälp av lagtext, rättspraxis och juridiska arbeten. Resultat Enligt lag skall utgifter för att förvärva och bibehålla intäkter dras av som kostnad, en sponsringsutgift skall alltså därför dras av som kostnad och därmed vara avdragsgill.
