The purpose of this paper was to discuss stigma and stigmatisation in relation to social policy and social work. By discussing welfare systems in social policy I wanted to see if there could be any connection between social policy and stigma. I used case studies of hearing impaired adults to give examples of how the stigma processes work. By connecting the stigma and the social policy theories with the case studies I wanted to see how the social policy could affect the stigma processes or vice versa.In the paper the concept of stigma has been described and discussed, foremost using the theories of Erving Goffman. I have also discussed the welfare system and the connection between residual systems and stigma.

Corporate Social Responsiblity is today a well known concept in the business world. The concept contains responsibility and sustainability for those who chose to work with Corporate Social Responsibility and the three responsibility areas within the concept. Responsibility and sustainability is of importance, no matter what core business a corporation has. The responsibility goes both out from the corporation, to take care of the surrounding society and the environment. The responsibility also concerns the corporation interal, aiming for a sustainable work enivornment and good working conditions.

I uppsatsen intervjuas: samordnare, metodutvecklare och boendestödjare om sin syn på social dokumentation och om hur arbetet går till på deras arbetsplats. Social dokumentation handlar om att dokumentera vid handläggning och vid genomförande inom verksamheter styrda enligt SoL, LSS, LVU och LVM. Uppsatsens syfte är att visa på olika sätt att se på den sociala dokumentationen inom fältet boendestöd och att exemplifiera vad social dokumentation kan vara. Resultatet visar att social dokumentation sker i ett sammanhang och variationen mellan olika boendestöd är stor. Uppsatsen exemplifierar olika aspekter av dokumentationen genom att beskriva dokumentationen med beslut, genomförandeplan, uppföljning av insats, förbättringsåtgärder och visa på den sociala dokumentationens potential..

How do you do co-operation between government agencies? It is a wide spread view that there can be quite a few hitches in co-operation between agencies. In later years this idea has spread to the media where there has been negative coverage of the social service agencies. This generally applies to cases where children suffer because the right assistance takes too long to co-ordinate or does not get co-ordinated at all between schools, healthcare and social services. The social welfare law dictates that it is the social welfare office duty to co-ordinate the government agencies for the child?s best interest.

Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working situation. We also learned that although the work with sexual abuse against children gave birth to different emotions of the social worker, the social workers feel satisfaction with their work, by helping the exposed children. We hope that our paper will inspire and encourage to further studies in the area, since there is still much to be explored. .

Byggbranschen befinner sig i dagens läge i ett paradigmskifte mellan ett traditionellt sätt att bygga och projektera och till att utveckla ett mer industriellt sätt att bygga och projektera. Från att använda ?ointelligenta? 2D-modeller börjar allt mer intelligenta byggproduktmodeller där information som rör hela byggnadens livscykel användas i större omfattning. Branschen går mer och mer mot att all information ska kunna samlas och vara tillgänglig på ett och samma ställe, genom en gemensam IT-plattform för branschens aktörer och intressenter samt genom byggnadsinformationsmodeller (BIM). Ett sätt att göra en sådan plattform möjlig är med hjälp av en internationell standard, IFC (Industry Foundation Classes), som är ett oberoende filformat som ska kunna läsas oavsett digital programvara. För projektörerna i branschen utvecklas ständigt olika program för ändamål som möjliggör att så mycket information som möjligt samlas i en och samma fil.

Utvecklingen av internet och sociala medier har gjort att företag tvingas tänka nytt kring marknadsföring och varumärkesbyggande. Dagens konsumenter använder sig av flertalet mediala kanaler för att knyta an till varumärken, och allt fler företag väljer således att använda sig av sociala medier i marknadsföringssyfte, såsom Facebook och Instagram. Genom dessa forum skapas nya möjligheter för företag att bygga relationer till sina konsumenter samt att skapa en gemenskap kring varumärket. Social medier kännetecknas bland annat av sin förmåga att skapa interaktiv kommunikation. Att förstå och dra nytta av konsumenters interaktion på nätet anses för företag vara strategiskt viktigt.

The focus of this thesis is on social workers? knowledge in assessing and making decisions in child welfare cases. The primary aim is to identify what skills or knowledge social workers find most useful within child welfare agencies in Swedish municipalities. Six different types of knowledge, social policy and the approach of child welfare cases are perspectives considered in the analysis. The interviews with social workers were held in three agencies in southern Sweden, in 2014.

The purpose of this study was to examine knowledge within the social services. We narrowed the study down from general knowledge to scientifically produced knowledge and how the social workers relate to such knowledge. We aimed to see how the social workers perceive different knowledge and how they relate to the different sources of knowledge. We also examined the different factors that will enable and motivate social workers to stay updated with scientifically produced knowledge that is relevant to their work. We also examined what limits the ability or motivation for renewing ones knowledge.

The purpose of this study was to examine social workers working process in social assistance with focus on the child´s perspective. We were interested in learning about the existence of variations in approach and attitude between two municipalities. Question to be answered about what methods and approaches used by social workers to include the child´s perspective in the process of social assistance. Another question to be answered about what the manner in which social workers took into account the child´s perspective when the families apply for social assistance in relation to the operations and requirement. To fulfill the purpose, qualitative methods were used.

Syftet med denna studie är att kartlägga gymnasieelevers användning av datorer i skolarbetet med olika ämnen på ett yrkesprogram och två högskoleförberedande program. Kontext för studien är en centralt belägen kommunal gymnasieskola, i en mindre kranskommun gränsande till en storstadsregion i Mellansverige. Datainsamlingen består av en kvantitativ fallstudie med enkät som datainsamlingsmetod. Det empiriska underlaget omfattar 50 enkäter och respondenterna är elever i gymnasiets årskurs tre, från några av den undersökta skolans olika gymnasieprogram. Studien avser jämföra vad elever på ett fordonsprogram, ett samhällsvetenskapligt program och ett tekniskt program använder datorer till i olika skolämnen, däribland svenska, engelska och matematik.

Örebro kommun har fram tills nu använt sig av Lantmäteriets höjdmodell som erbjuder en noggrannhet på 2 m. Över Örebro stad finns även höjdinformation i form av höjdkurvor med 1 m ekvidistans. I takt med att utvecklingen går framåt ses användningsområden för en ny, förbättrad höjdmodell. För att ta fram en sådan krävs insamling av stora mängder data. Den metod som lämpar sig bäst för datainsamling av den här omfattningen är flygburen laserskanning. Laserskanning är en relativt ny metod som bygger på att avstånd till objekt beräknas m h a utskickat laserljus.

However, corporate social responsibility focuses on the ethical aspects of corporate business in order to achieve the balance between the profitability and social responsibility. Nongovernmental organizations through their activities promote the respect for human rights and environmental care within the corporate world. Purpose and Scope: To make an in-depth study about the role of nongovernmental organizations regarding corporate social responsibility in order to increase the understanding of corporate social responsibility. Methodology: We used literature research for our thesis and we analysed the secondary data related to the corporate social responsibility.

Rapporten innehåller ett projekt vars ändamål är att dimensionera alternativastommar i ståloch betong för en befintlig ladugård i limträ. Alla alternativ har sedan jämförts med avseendepå kostnads och miljöpåverkan.Författaren menar på att idag finns det flera olika alternativ för stomlösningar, sett till bådematerial samt utformning och det kan göra valet av stomme är svårt. Arbetet har dock inte tillsyfte att bestämma vilket material som är bäst utan mer till att framföra skillnader mellanmaterialen. Sedan är det upp till läsaren själv att avgöra om hen finner ett miljöeffektivtmaterial bäst eller om hen föredrar mindre kostnad.I rapportens resultatdel presenteras resultatet från samtliga alternativs dimensionering somsedan har används till att jämföra stommarna. Miljöpåverkan togs fram med hjälp av enlivcykelanalys, där Tyréns AB har tagit fram ett regelverk för byggnader.
