Denna rapport beskriver framtagandet av ett ämnesöverskridande temaarbete för årskurs 4-6 om mat med hållbar utveckling som grund. Dagens samhälle präglas av klimatförändringar och konsekvenser av detta. I framtiden kommer dessa konsekvenser att märkas allt mer. För att vända den negativa trenden och skapa ett hållbart samhälle spelar utbildning en stor roll. Enligt den svenska läroplanen ska hållbar utveckling genomsyra all undervisning genom ett övergripande miljöperspektiv.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka och beskriva vilka som använder spelapplikationen Turf i sin smart phone, hur de använder applikationen, samt om den kan stimulera till fysisk aktivitet bland användarna. Turf är ett spel där det gäller att erövra virtuella utomhuszoner med hjälp av telefonens GPSoch som kan ses som en blandning av orientering och ?herre på täppan? i digital form. En kvantitativ metod användes för att få svar på frågeställningarna och en e-postenkät skapades och användes i datainsamlingen. Resultatet från de 49 undersökta Turfanvändarna visade att de återfanns i ett brett ålderspann.

This is the end report of my final exam at Medieteknik. It covers the planning, work process and review of a Flash based web application that I set out to do. The goal was to create a user friendly, interactive e-shop with embedded functionality for playing music, displaying rich media content and researching possible payment solutions, to enable buying music files online. The project involved creating the user interface, the programmatic functionality of a Flash client (an SWF file). Also, setting up an Apache HTTP Server and establishing a working ?bridge? between the Flash client and the web server with Flash Remoting components and AMFPHP.

An energy survey of Östers pre-school has already been done by a group of three students and all the calculations and values have been collected from that survey. As of today, both pre-schools are heated thru district heating. The wide spread of the Internet and new information technologies in recent years has come to effect how libraries manage and disseminate information. Search engines like Google are widely used by people who often find the information retrieval systems of libraries to be too complicated. In 2004 Google announced plans to digitise five major library collections. Organisations representing the publishing industry and authors have since then filed lawsuits against Google claiming that Googles scanning of library books infringe the rights holders copyright. Due to Googles potential impact on libraries this thesis aims to examine how Googles digitisation project, Google Book Search, has been received in the library community.

The authors of this paper intended to study and compare local secondary schools(municipally owned schools) and independent secondary schools(privately owned schools) in Stockholm County. The purpose oft his paper is to explore how secondary schools market themselves and whether the view and use of marketing is different between municipal and independent secondary schools. The essay is by nature multi-case study and interviews were conducted with representatives from four high schools, two municipal and two independent, one representative from Education Committee and one from Privet Schools? Association.The introduction of School reform in 1992 enabled opening of privately owned schools and empirical datas hows that before 1992 secondary schools did not have the same extent of competition and the need of marketing was not widespread, but today there is fierce competition among secondary schools. The introduction of School reform changed the conditions for the Swedish school market, greater freedom of choice led to atougherfight for the students, which in turn increases the competition between secondary schools.

För en genomsnittslägenhet innebär det en energiförlust på cirka 300 kWh per år. De vanligaste orsakerna till vädring är att få bort matos eller ett svalt sovrum. EU har, genom sitt omarbetade energidirektiv, satt upp stora mål för att dra ner på energiförbrukningen. De anger att för att uppnå dessa mål skall 200 miljarder euro investeras i energisparande produkter och byggnationer.För hushåll med elektrisk uppvärmning finns idag avancerade reglersystem för att motverka energiförlust orsakad av vädring.

Examensarbetet som beskrivs i denna rapport handlar om en ny teknik för att förbättra säkerheten för flygplan i luften och i närheten av flygplatser. Denna teknik benämns ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast), och är tänkt att göra det möjligt för piloter att själva få information om trafik i närområdet. Nuvarande system baserar sig i huvudsak på visuella observationer från flygledare i kontrolltorn samt radarspaning omkring flygplatserna. Med det nuvarande systemet kommer det att bli både dyrt och svårt att upprätthålla en acceptabel nivå på flygsäkerheten när trafiken ökar. Arbetet har bedrivits i AerotechTelubs regi i Linköping samt med hjälp ifrån företaget Sectra Wireless Technologies AB.

Detta examensarbete är utfört åt Alnöbud och Transport i Sundsvall. Alnöbud och Transport håller påmed transport inom såväl Sundsvall som ute i landet. Deras tidrapporteringssystem var föråldrat och de använder sig idag av papper och penna för att registrera de olika anställdas tider. De ville dåveta hur man skulle kunna datorisera detta påett enkelt, smart och prisvärt sätt. Genom att gå till grunden för hur ett litet företag i dagens läge skulle kunna gå tillväga för att datorisera exempelvis ett sådant system krävdes genomgående information om allt från undersökningar, priser för liknande typer av kravspecifikationer och jämförande mellan olika produkter/tjänster.

Lättelement AB är ett företag som är placerat i Örnsköldsvik och är ett av Sveriges ledande företag när det kommer till prefabricerade element av tak, väggar och bjälklag. De bygger med en smart konstruktion där de använder sig av en plywoodskiva överst på elementet för att denna ska ta hand om tryckspänningarna. Mitten av elementet är byggt med I-balkar där flänsarna är gjort med konstruktionsvirke, livet består av en OSB-skiva som ska ta skjuvspänningarna i konstruktionen. Undersidan av elementet spikas det på en stålplåt för att hantera de dragpåkänningarna som påverkar elementet. Ibland måste Lättelement AB skarva deras balkar för att uppnå de längder man vill ha.

Water logistics has long been a problem in order to effectively carry out stump treatment in both thinning and final felling. It is important that the stump treatment? equipment is configured as well as a sufficient amount of water is carried out on the harvester to get a cost? effective treatment. The flow control of the equipment has improved and water can be dispensed more efficient, but still the amount of water on the machine is a crucial factor in the total cost estimate. The knowledge of the tools available to bring water as well as the internal logistics of loading and transport to the felling site is deficient. Increased focus on "smart" solutions to manage water cost is of great importance in order to combat Hetrobasidion spp in both thinning and final felling. The purpose of the study is to describe and summarize different solutions of water logistics at stump treatment in final felling.

Digital artefacts such as smartphones have become an intricate part of our daily lives both private and professionally. They have evolved from doing simple tasks to become a form of expression, as well as acting as a gateway to the digital world of connections. We rely on various technology such as Wi-Fi networks to connect with others. They in turn have become more available and today, many establishments offer free network to their customers. With these developments comes different kind of risks for the user.
