Prokrastinering innebär att frivilligt skjuta upp en viktig aktivitet, trots vetskapen om att det leder till stress, ångest och ytterligare negativa konsekvenser. Enligt forskning anses 80-95 % av alla högskolestudenter prokrastinera,  50 % av studenterna uppger att detta leder till problem. Self-efficacy är individens tilltro till den egna förmågan att klara av saker. Syftet med studien var att undersöka prokrastinering i relation till self-efficacy och studieresultat. Metoden som användes var en webbenkät där två mätinstrument kombinerades, varav dessa är välkända inom forskning på området, Procrastination Assessment Scale for Students samt College Academic Self-efficacy Scale.

Utvärderandet av instrument och metoder är väsentligt för att avgöra validiteten och reliabiliteten av studiers resultat. I den här studien utvärderades delskalan Emotional Regulation. Delskalan ingår i Social Competence Scale (Corrigan, 2003) och användes som underlag för observationer av barn i åldern 4-5 år inom implementeringsförsöket av preventionsprogrammet PsPATHS i Sverige. Totalt deltog 132 barn vid två separata observationstillfällen. Två explorativa faktoranalyser med olika estimationsmetoder (ML och GLS) resulterade i en enfaktorslösning.

Syftet med arbetet är att skapa en bättre förståelse för vad kreativitet och kreativa produkter är. I arbetet utvärderas även en metod för bedömning av kreativiteten i en produkt. Den metod som utvärderas är Creative Product Semantic Scale (CPSS). Det finns många olika definitioner på kreativitet och några tas upp i det här arbetet. För att kreativitet skall uppstå är även omgivningen och kontexten viktig.

Today there is a limited demand for quality certified cereal in Sweden. The demand can in the future increase and become a requirement for the entire market. Since the first of January 2005, grain producers in Sweden are food producers and traceability is important for the food industry. It is possible for grain producers to certify the productions under the certification IP SIGILL. The purpose of this essay is to explore why some grain producers continue to be certified while other producers end the IP SIGILL certification.

This study has investigated the possibilities of implementing lean in a division of a hospital in Stockholm. The goal was to reduce the lead time for the patient to get his diagnose by implementing lean in the two production flows of this division. In order to accomplish it, a complete map over the value stream has been done. With the help of the value stream map and lean theory a list over the processes in contradiction with lean has been made. Finally propositions to implement lean and by this way reduce the lead times in this stream have been made out.

The environmental assessment system Miljöbyggnad is a Swedish system initiated by Bygga-Bo-Dialogen to assess buildings with regards to three main areas; ?Energy?, ?Indoor climate? and ?Materials?. A building can obtain three different classifications depending on how well it manages to meet the demands. GOLD is the highest classification and is followed by SILVER and BRONZE. The majority of the measures needed to comply with the demands are done during the design phase.

The Swedish building contractor JMRegion Öst would like to to investigatethe possibilities of developing andstreamlining the production of singlefamilyhouses. JM are producing singlefamilyhouses with prefabricated framesat a rate of about two houses per week.During construction, the different tasksare performed by JM?s own productionstaff but also by varioussubcontractors.When examining the schedules of recentlyproduced projects, it appears that allthe houses are more or less completedeight weeks before the customer moves into the house. Syftet med den här studien var att studera relationerna mellan fysisk aktivitet, psykologiskt välbefinnande, självkänsla och arbetstillfredsställelse. Ett sekundärt syfte var att undersöka om måttlig intensitet av fysisk aktivitet är starkare korrelerat till de tre psykologiska begreppen än lätt och ansträngande intensitet. Studiens population (n=126) var mellan 26 och 65 år från ett sjukhus i södra Sverige. Fysisk aktivitet mättes genom Godin Leisure-Time Exercise Questionnaire (Godin & Shepard, 1985), psykologisk välbefinnande genom Psychological Well-Being Scale (Ryff, 1989), självkänsla genom Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1989) och arbetstillfredsställelse genom skalan Arbetstrivsel (Hellgren, Sjöberg & Sverke, 1997 baserad på Brayfield & Rothe, 1951). Resultatet visade att arbetstillfredsställelse kan prediceras av fysisk aktivitet och psykologiskt välbefinnande, psykologisk välbefinnande kan prediceras av arbetstillfredsställelse och självkänsla och självkänsla kan prediceras av psykologiskt välbefinnande.

More thorough research on how agriculture affects the environment is therefore motivated. This research can be used to improve the agricultural practice from an environmental point of view. This is something that both the farmers and the consumers can profit from. This study aims to form the basis for creating environmental indicators for use of nitrogen and energy on dairy farms. Twenty-three farmers in western Sweden have been interviewed about their farms, both organic and conventional. They produce milk with different intensity, defined as the amount of milk delivered (sold) per hectare of arable land.

Even if the main purpose is to decide if the companies profitability and financial position is a determining factor for its growth, the purpose is to determine if there are any differences between big and small companies in there economical positions then they grow, in the selected industry. This thesis is mainly a quantitative study. The selected industry for the study is extraction of turf. The financial measurement that most clearly differ the growing companies from the not growing companies or the companies that didn?t change there amount of employees was the returns of the companies own capital.
