The purpose of this thesis was to study how an internationalization process to China may appear for a small Swedish enterprise and to identify important factors that may be essential for the process. The focus extends from the point where the enterprise makes its first connection with China up to the point where they are well established. Their business is up and running and they have begun production. To gain a deeper understanding of the subject a gathering of existing theory and research articles was conducted. The gathering of theory yielded knowledge of different approaches and methods that can be used to implement internationalization and provided a greater understanding of cultural and regional differences in China compared to Sweden.

AbstractPurpose: The purpose of this thesis was to examine to which extant the politically governed organization, Swedish association of local authorities and local regions (SALAR), has been mediatized. Furthermore the purpose was to examine how SALAR being a Meta-organization affected the mediatization process. To accomplish this the thesis studied how SALAR organized themselves internally in order to form opinion through the media in one of their prioritized issues. A further purpose was to equalize SALAR?s mediatization process with the mediatization process for the whole political system. Method: This is a qualitative study which the gathered material has been collected through two types of methods, semi structured interviews and field observations.Material: A total of eight interviews were made distributed over three departments inside SALAR.

Examensarbetet har utförts på Weland Lagersystem AB i Gislaved som tillverkar och säljer lagersystem. Företaget är en del i Welandkoncernen och ägs därmed av Weland AB. Arbetet handlar om att effektivisera konstruktionsprocessen på Weland Lagersystem AB, för produkten grenställ1. Konstruktionsprocessen består idag av ett flertal moment. Ett av dessa moment, som idag utförs manuellt och är tidskrävande, är skapande av geometriska modeller.

Många elever i de svenska skolorna har svenska som andraspråk och har mer eller mindre knapphändiga kunskaper i svenska och därmed svårt att kommunicera. En del är nyanlända och kan inte kommunicera alls på det nya språket. En väg ut ur dilemmat är att hitta andra sätt att uttrycka sig och kommunicera på.Uppsatsen undersöker möjligheter till att ge dessa elever de bästa förutsättningarna för en positiv språkutveckling genom undervisning i ett utvidgat språk- och textbegreppsperspektiv. En konstnärlig process i fråga om skapande är en av utvecklingsvägarna.Frågeställningen berör integration mellan bild och svenska som andraspråk som pedagogisk metod.Eleverna måste få lära sig att använda nya redskap och synsätt för att tillgodogöra sig aktuell kunskap. Det är viktigt att tänka sig språkutveckling i ett utvidgat språkbegrepp och integration mellan ämnen är ett sätt att sätta fokus på kunskap ur flera perspektiv.Resultatet tar upp undervisningens utformning, vad som händer vid en integration, vad den leder till och hur eleverna reagerar på det.Integration mellan bild och svenska som andraspråk har positiva effekter.

Syftet med denna studie är att få inblick i hur barn mellan tre till fyra år arbetar med bildskapande och hur barnen skapar målningar utifrån inspiration från saga och natur. Det vi ville undersöka var hur barnen för över sina visuella bilder kring det som de just har upplevt till sina målningar. I studien har pojkar och flickors målningar jämförts, eftersom vi i vår studie ville se om det fanns genuslikheter eller skillnader inom bildskapandet. Frågeställningarna som vi utgick ifrån i vår studie var följande: Hur målar flickor och pojkar sina målningar utifrån saga och natur? Finns det likheter/skillnader mellan målningarna från de olika miljöerna? Hur visar sig likheter/skillnader på flickor och pojkars målningar? Inspireras pojkar och flickor av varandra i sina målningar? Barns bildskapande är viktigt att uppmärksamma då deras omgivning och vardag har en stor inverkan på deras skapande.

This study examines the use of building modeling and energy simulations in the design process  of  a  building.  The  take-off  point  is  the  notion  of  energy  simulations  being needed early and throughout the building design process, and that the lack of energy simulations may be explained by the fact that they are time consuming and therefore often too expensive. A greater interoperability between software tools used by relevant disciplines,  such  as  the  architect  and  the  energy  specialist,  would  create  smoother workflows, which would reduce this cost and open up for more frequent and iterative energy  simulation  processes.  The  study  is  an  assessment  of  the  modeling  tool  Revit and  the  simulation  tool  Virtual  Environment  and  whether  they  can  create  smoother workflows, and make leeway for a more frequent use of energy simulations throughout the  design  process.  It  also  investigates  the  limitations  of  what  can  be  examined  by simulations in Virtual Environment. This will hopefully help clarify the future role of energy  simulations  in  design  processes.  The  method  is  a  trial  by  error  approach  of testing the two software tools by building and simulating a model. The results of these tests  show  that  the  workflow  is  not  optimal  (and  therefore  time  consuming)  for frequent  and  iterative simulations  throughout the  design  process,  but  it  also  reveals some  great  possibilities  of  what  can  be  performed  with  these  two  powerful  tools  at hand.  Further  development  with  regards  on  platform  independency  of  the  building information  model,  including  seamless  exporting  and  importing,  seems  necessary  to strengthen the future role of energy simulations..

The first was todescribe and map out the procedure torecreate technical data of a turbineblade, based on a validation of thereverse engineering process that hasbeen performed at Alstom in Norrköping.The second purpose was to describe thekey factors to achieve successful usageof reverse engineering that have beennoticed in the literature study.The work is based on a literature studyon the subject reverse engineeringwhich produced the theoreticalknowledge of the method to reproducetechnical data to a product. Eco-design is all about improving products environmental performances throughout the products lifecycle by including the environmental aspect into the product development process. There are a large number of different tools that can be used for this, but there are several factors that can affect which one will be the best to use. Some tools for eco-design takes comprehensive studies and can only be performed by experts, while some tools can be used more time- and cost efficient and with basic knowledge. The choice of tool should be based on the company?s situation.This report describes the research of how the design and furniture company Blå Station could include a tool for eco-design in their product development process.

This thesis aims to investigate the positioning concept of industrial services. We chose to identify the reasons why positioning is used as well as to describe the positioning process. The research strategy chosen for this thesis was a case study of a consultancy firm Benima AB. This firm was chosen due to the fact that a new positioning concept during the latest year hade been implemented and therefore seemed like a good choice for our study. Of the six available theoretical reasons for positioning, we found that Benima AB had two of them: namely change in target market or their needs and demands and renewed company identity/personality.
